'Time outs': Crew members have the simple power to lock a thread but still post. I suggest when an arguement becomes too heated to lock the thread for a few minutes (with a mod posting WHY, and whats going on) let it sit long enough for people to fully read and understand it(I'd say 5-10 minutes) then unlock it on the condition that the argument or flame-baiting, or other problem cease... or further action will be taken (not against the group, just the parties involved)

Though Id prefer if only done by an uninvolved crew member for fairness...

EDIT: Oh yes an Private guilds pwn Public guilds if for the very reason that 'problems' can be dealt with easier. we already send out quite a bit of invited, I dont see what the major difference will be except that it would be easier to keep things more organized and prevent fights.

An underground structure of some sort... basically I keep thinking of a mix of the colloseum in rome, and a modern football stadium tunnels here and there. Connecting the different parts and such. though it would have to be a few meters down lest some of the fights punch a hole into the lower levels...

umm... make sure the merchants ring is atleast big enough for a two storey structure and wide enough to still have a lane wide enough to move construction equipment in and out.

hmm... thats all I can think of for the moment

meh... expensive and time consumeing to repair...

Jumbo-screen like..large flat monitors..

So the npc crowds and other chara's can see ongoing fights in random portals going on..as well as see close ups on the main arena fights.

Like any stadium would have you know...


Better descriptions on the main arena and grounds themselves...

Overwall better write ups on the stadium in general...Updated for todays standards and all and for all those nitpickers out there.

Maybe even writeups on the portals like you said Josh.

Maybe the introduction of a retractable dome, pending on the new design and layout of the stadium.

More npc crowd descriptions, if possible.

I like the under ground tunnels thing Jay had.

Maybe the introduction of 4 main arenas, instead of some ridiculously huge main arena.

If I think of anything I'll add it...

Or have John supply the monitors so that they're invincible in every way, and gods themselves, essentially. Indestructable and able to move about to any position in a billionth of a second while being able to pass through whatever they want to... like his sign.

Technically you could, really, if such a thing were possible, considering the sign was simply a holographic monitor projected by some tiny-a** little droids. If it could move that fast, you could simply have an AI which caused them to blink about so fast in front of every patron in the stadium that it would appear as if the screen were actually in front of them (like a strobe light or somesuch), while only needing to have one of the damn things...

But I detest the sign, so I retract any comments above for any reason other than making fun of the sign.







The actual suggestion I was going to make was the installation of a unifaith chappel of some sort within the stadium, for use in things such as fighters praying for victory, spectators who show up for the games on Sunday morning and get bitched at by their wives for not going to church, and shotgun weddings.

Of course, unifaith would be the way to go, considering the diversity of faiths around here, and the fact that every fifth person in the tri-city area seems to be a god or related to a god or a friend of a god or something... *cough*

And it would give a bit of a new aspect onto what could be done here... I know some characters have strong religious ties, like Kraun; and even the shotgun weddings bit could be used for some RP fun with a bit of vodka thrown into the mix. ninja xd





Second idea that I forgot to throw in with the first would be a casino. 3nodding Just cuz... it kind of popped into the head and all that. Like an indian casino, only with... you know... demi-human mutated freaks instead of indians...

And then Nye could bring over his casino dude from Elysia, since I seem to remember he liked that guy a lot...
