Faevan watched Pink and a beautiful woman converse excitedly. And shortly a striking man joined them. She just stared for a moment before turning her eyes to the bar, feeling a bit lonely. Her gaze drifted to the windows, watching the snow swirl about in the lamplight. It reminded her of winters in Durem.

Blushing, Orphne smiled and tilted her head to give Pink a kiss on the cheek. "Good to see you too, Pink!" She leaned forward and gave her friend a warm hug. "I haven't seen you around in ages. How's the family? I hear you're expecting kids now?"
Reaching behind her, Orphne clasped Airez' hand and gave it a gentle squeeze, then waved down the girl busy at the counter. "Oh, miss? I'll take a nice mug of caramel cocoa over by my old friend Pink here." She smiled.

"Gotcha. Oi! Orders, anyone else?" Naida calls. "While I'm back here?"
"Something you want to get off your chest?" A soft voice asks from behind Fae.

Pink smiled and took one of her hands and pulled her over to where she left her coat and the others. "Family's great! A little too much now and then if you know what I mean and you are right, I am exppecting." As she looked down at her stomach she patted it, "I don't look it do I?" She asked nervously with a chuckle. "Come on, you have to meet everyone else silly!"
With that, she then shouted to Naida, "I'll have what Orph just ordered too; a carmel cocoa."

Faevan looked up, a bit startled. A lovely redhaired woman stood behind her. Faevan offered her a smile before looking at her hands, fiddling with a ring on her thumb.
"No ma'am. Just missing someone special, I suppose." She almost whispered.

Feeling the sudden squeeze upon his hand, Airez smiled and offered a gentle pressure upon her hand in return, a sign of affection that was secret. While doing so, he listened while hearing of Orphne's past experience with the friend of hers, eavesdropping upon any tid-bit of information he possibly could get a hold of, before looking up and watching a long woman seem slightly down.
"Poor thing." thought Airez as he watched her for a moment, then laid abck in his chair and got comfortable, not up for making an order just yet in this time. His icy white eyes turned out towards the window, watching the dready snow fall with wonder.
"Hmm..."

"Gotcha!" Naida suddenly seems to be working her BUTT off, as if some kind of authority figure were present to monitor her every move. eek
"I know how that feels," Junyi answers, nodding slowly. "My 'other half', if I can even call her...him..." she trails off, waving her hand quickly. "If I can even call him that... he's always off on business. Gone for months at a time; doesn't even get to see his daughter grow."
"Something like that, yes?"

Pink seemed especially happy this holiday season, and Orphne couldn't help but get caught up in the cheerful atmosphere. She settled in a chair next to her gorgeous friend, admiring the curves that motherhood provided her with and the happiness that the woman seemed to float on.
Looking up at Airez, Orphne rubbed his shoulder lightly and noticed he was a bit distracted... but the nymph was far too curious in catching up with her friend to worry. "So Pink, tell me all about it. I heard that you and Lulu..." Her eyes indicated Pink's belly as her face broke into a mischievious grin. "Did the doctors say when?"

"Not quite, but I'm sorry that you're missing your other half, no matter how it is." She had caught the brief gender change, and smiled softly. She didn't like the thought of lovers being lept apart, gender wise, socially, or for any other reason. She sighed softly, she shoulders slumping inward. It may have been the light, but her eyes seemed a bit glassy, as if they were holding unshed tears. "Just lamenting mistakes, I suppose. But listen to me, dragging down the holiday spirit." She chuckled, but her mirth never reached here eyes. Though they did soften when they met the redhead's. "I'm Faevan. Pleasure to meet you, and happy holidays."

Pink laughed when she saw Orph's grin. "We did...FINALLY. It took the man long enough to realize his feelings for me, I mean really! You know how they are!" SHe said with a wave of her hand. "They haven't said when yet but it will be a little while. Poor lulu's been so BUSY, he promised to be around more and hopefully he will. I couldn't dare THINK of him not being their for the birth!"

"Jun?" Faevan repeated. "Oh, this is your cafe, then?" Her eyes widened a bit, her accent a bit heavier as she grinned. Somewhere between English and Irish, it was pleasant to listen to, if barely noticable. "Glad to meet you finally. Naida speaks of you often."

"She did mention there was someone who wanted to meet me. Was that you?" Junyi tilted her head to the side. "I'm sorry I haven't been around much; I had business to attend to."

Sighing to himself, Airez's thoughts turned to a certin a some one he knew in the past. A faded memory that was gone and left him to seek another path of living, one that revolved around his own. Leadership had taken that soul away from him, only giving him cold shoulders. Quite literally in a sense of speaking.
"Mist..." murmured Airez to himself and he watched the flakes fall upon the ground. His body leaned over, letting Orphne's hand brush against his hair lightly, giving her unseen messages of what he wanted. "Hot choco would be nice."
