Sasori slipped the scroll back into his bag after taking a quick glance again at them. He liked to reminisce about his past because of how far it was behind him. Though he didn't look it, he was easily twice Deidara's age. His partner didn't need to know that, however. He might only tease him for it.

The smaller Akatsuki laid down on the bed after that, retracting his cable owing to Deidara's feelings about his artificial body. Sasori didn't care much if his partner was creeped out by it or not. He would have to get used to it eventually.

Sasori looked almost childlike there, resting against the pillow with his hand under his head. No, more like a child's toy. He'd brutally kill anyone who told him that, but it didn't detract from his cuteness.

"Deidara-san?" He asked him quietly, almost timidly. "I appreciate your outlook on art, honestly. It's not every day that I get to speak with an artist who loves their craft as much as I do."

"Huh?"

Sasori's compliment took the young man by surprise. His eyes lit up though and he gave one of his happy-go-lucky - and prehaps a bit cocky- grins. "Thanks Sasori-donna. I feel the same way, hmm!"

The last part had a bit more 'umph' to it, as he truley has excited. Never did he expect the sudden compliment from the puppeteer- It felt kind of...good. Sasori didn't seem to be the type to do such a thing, especially one who's own artwork rivaled his own.

That little expression of happiness was just what Sasori had been wanting to see. Of course he hadn't complimented Deidara's taste because he just wanted to see him smile - he had really meant what he had said. Sometimes Sasori could be brutally, viciously honest, but at least he wasn't decietful.

Tranquilly, the infamous Sorpion of the Red Sand lounged on his chosen bed. His body rarely became tired since his transformation, but his mind and chakra did. With his dark-circled eyes open, he critically inspected the finger joints of the hand he had been using to stoke the fire the night previous. Not out of vanity, but rather simply concern for his own well-being. The places where his real nerves and such still lay were a lot more difficult to repair than the rest of him, so Sasori always made sure to look after himself.

As his puppeteer of a partner lounged on his own bed, Deidra took heed, plopping down on his chosen bed. It was softer then most of the beds he could remember. Not since he was younger had he felt this...relaxed. No. Not even then. Even as a child, the pressure was always on his shoulders.

But, in a way, he had to thank it. if is wasn't for all that negitivity, he would have never learned to control his emotions like he could now.

He watched through one azure eye as Sasori inspected himself- Deidara blinked, realizing how dirty that could be interpreted as-, the other eye covered by long locks of his golden hair. The springs had warmed him, psyically and spiritually, He brought a finger up to the hair covering his eye and, without thinking, started to twirl it around said finger.

(It's still Erusama here. My previous account was hacked, so now I'll be using this one.)

Sasori wasn't paying very much attention to what Deidara was doing. If he wanted to rest as well, then that was fine by him and he would be glad to leave the younger man alone. Faintly through his periphrial vision he noticed that his partner was playing with his hair, but he paid it no heed. It could only be a habit of his, which was perfectly normal. Sasori had his little habits too, although quite a few of them could be considered eccentric.

During lapses in his puppet-crafting (he never liked to say that he sometimes suffered from artist's block), Sasori often liked to leave the Akatsuki headquarters and simply wander for a few days. Being shut up in his workshop day and night was something that he could never handle for too long eithout getting paranoid and restless. Sasori had to admit, he liked the solitude and peace that nature provided. Sometimes he liked to venture into nearby villages, but he would rarely speak to people out of habit.

The soft-voiced puppeteer got up from his bed and picked his cloak up from where he had set it. He smoothed his hair out after he slipped it on, then went about buttoning it. "I'm going out for a walk," Sasori accounced, looking right at Deidara. "You can come with me if you want to."

(( I'm sorry to hear that! D: Thanks for telling me though- I was like "Tsuki no Erusama? Who's that?" xD))

"Hmm?"

The azure-eyed man looked up from twirling his hair around his finger at the puppeteer, whom was looking directly at him. A walk? Deidara thought about it. As a fellow artist, The blonde man knew that this might be something that the red-head would want to do all by himself: Kind of a 'pump' to his artistic mind. Even if he didn't agree with his art, Deidara understood.

"It's okay, Sasori-donna, hmm." said the blonde with a small smile. "If you want to go alone, it's alright, hmm. Plus, won't the both of us wearing the same thing look a bit suspicious?"

Deidara's question was not answered right away. Although, Sasori did provide a non-verbal explanation when he made his transformation jutsu handseal and changed into a casually dressed teenager. His backpack, which contained most of his summoning scrolls, was there as well.

Sasori looked out from behind his long brown bangs at his partner, a hint of a smile on his face. "That's no problem for us. Are you sure you don't want to come?"

This was the puppeteer's way of saying that he did want to share Deidara's company. His new partner was so different than anyone he had met before that somehow just leaving him made him feel strange and even guilty. It might have just been his subconcious wanting decent human interaction, but Sasori truly believed that Deidara was special. Somehow, that confused him a little bit. He could never grow to like someone, or love them... could he?

Deidara blinked. Was Sasori-danna...smiling at him? It looked like it. He stood, smiling a bit himself. He could tell that, maybe, the puppet-master wanted him to come along, after all. "I'll come, hmm." he said after a while. He was glad that the man wanted him to come, after all.

Deidara didn't know what he would have done all alone, anyway.

He was glad for Sasori's company, though. He wasn't as big of an idiot as he thought he would be when they first met. Maybe Leader-Sama actually made a RIGHT choice, huh? he thought. At least I'm not with Itachi-baka!

Ever the wary one, Sasori made sure that his aprtner was adequately disguised before the pair set off to the streets. Their altered presence did nothing to arouse suspicion in the inn's staff. They probably saw dozens of guests every day and thought nothing of it.

The puppeteer was grateful to feel the late evening breeze on his face as he walked about the village. Many-coloured lanterns and the still-visible light of the sunset illuminated the streets wonderfully. A few shops were closing, but not many. Much to his annoyance, Sasori noticed how many bars were still open and in most cases, full. He had never cared for alcohol, even when he was younger. It only dulled the mind and slowed the reflexes, while Sasori needed to remain as sharp and alert as possible. Besides, drunk people always looked like idiots.

Sasori wandered with no intention in mind. All he was really doing was people-watching and occasionally looking to a store that caught his eye. He wouldn't mind if Deidara wanted to go anywhere in particular, but for now he just wanted to walk without purpose.

The blonde man walked with his partner, ever-happy when the breeze blew at him playfully, making the hair that fell in his eyes whisper around his face, like each bang was a graceful little dancing, enlightening him with their graceful kicks and memorizing turns.
Deidara noticed his partner from time to time staring at different things: Most of the time the bars and the people themselves. Deidara wondered if the red-head actually missed being...human.
There were a few people that walked the streets as well, some quiet while others trotted in groups, talking loudly amongst themselves. The Iwa nin noticed a few of the girls from before, when he was going to the hot springs. He flashed them a quick smile, causing one or two to happily giggle.

Deidara had no clue as to where Sasori was going: If he was going somewhere. He could only follow behind his master, and see where he would take them.

Although he was technically leading the way, Sasori was matching Deidara's pace stride for stride as they walked together. As such, he saw his partner flirt with the girls without making it seem as though he had. A strange emotion rose up in him - jealousy, anger? Sasori forced himself to ignore it. Deidara was his partner, not his puppet. He had no right to stop him if he wanted to be interested in anybody else.

What Sasori could do was lead him into a shop that seemed uncharacteristic considering Sasori's usual temperament. It was a small pastry shop, cakes and chocolates behind a glass counter and other delicacies lining the walls. The stoic redhead looked around, showing neither interest nor boredom.

(( Lawl, I feel like a terrible person xD))

Deidara, at first, was confused. His partner had just reveled something that he had been keeping a secret for quite a while: He was, in all technicality, a puppet. No digestive system. So, why here, a pastry shop?

Still, the place smelt absolutley delightful. The aroma's of the baked goods making the blonde artist feel like he had wings. He glanced over at his partner to see his neutral-appering face. "Something the matter, Danna?" he asked the shorter red-head.

"No, not at all." Sasori didn't appear uncomfortable or upset so much as simply thinking. He was in that sort of mood a lot, which often made him seem cold to those who didn't know him well. Really, it was just him focusing his mind and naturally not showing any emotion. It wasn't like he could just turn his brain off.

The craftsman surveyed a shelf of fruit-filled pastries before his attention inevitably turned to the chocolate counter. Now that was something he could go for. Generally he had very little of a passion for food, but chocolate was an exception. When one considered it closely, it wasn't really all that surprising. Sasori was a person who liked to get the most out of every moment in life. Savouring a piece of chocolate was something that he got the opportunity to do very rarely, so it was only natural that he would take the chance.

Not caring what Deidara might think, he ordered two rather appetizing-looking chocolate truffles for himself and delicately held them in hand. Money wasn't at all a problem for them, seeing as how he still could use his genjutsu to create false coins.

"Would you like anything, Nendo-kun?" He hadn't forgotten about the alias that Deidara had chosen for himself. If nothing else, Sasori had a very good memory.
