Upon returning from Prince Velcor's room with baby Mallor cradled in her arms, her gaze wanders to her step-daughter, and Matt. Without so much as a second glance, Madison seemed to float across the floor toward the infant's cradle; her crimson gown concealed her every step. She gazed down at the slumbering babe for a moment before turning toward Can and she spoke quietly, so as not to wake Mallor, "Can...Do you know where your father might be?"

Turning toward the door, Madison spotted Silver and gave a sutle bow of her head before speaking, soft enough not to wake the sleeping baby near her. "Greetings, M'Lord. It's nice to see you up and about. I rarely see you around, and when I do, it's only for a brief time, so I've had to entertain myself with the children."

Thinking a moment, interested in what Silver had to say, a smirk crossed her lips before she spoke, "You don't say? Well, I have no need to worry, nor should you. We have the best soldiers the kingdom has to offer, and if, by some means of a miracle, they manage to get past the castle gates into the courtyard, there's no chance they'll get past my pets." Madison gently traced her fingertips down his jawline while looking him in the eyes. "So don't you worry yourself over something that can't possibly happen."

"I know I'm right. Now, I want you to come meet someone. I had a little dealing with the girl's parents that went sour and it left the child orphaned, so I decided to take her in. Her name is Mallor Binx. She's only an infant, but someday, I know she will become useful, both to me, and the kingdom. I'm sure she will make you proud." Madison moved toward the black cradle and lifted the slumbering baby in her arms then walked over to Silver.

Gazing down at Mallor, a shimmer in Madison's dull grey eyes hid all hints of her mischevious plan for the girl's future, though a faint smile crossed her lips as the infant awoke. "Hello there little one." Mallor simply looked up at the two of them and paused for a moment, taking in the scene, then grabbed hold of Madison's necklace and giggled.
