Luna started to fuss more, the wetness in her diaper causing her to dream that she was sitting in water as she played. Water wasn't suppose to make you itch, and her bottom was starting to itch. Her arms and legs twitched as she dreamed about splashing about in the water. It wasn't until she smacked her hurt hand hard against the bed that she woke with a wail. That hurt!

((Hmmm... *wonders how she can get Papina and Alarai home and in charge in two posts* ;>.x))

Her hand was on fire and Furry Sister was worried about a wet diaper??? ><;

Luna's cheeks were bright red from exertion as she went silent long enough to gasp as she drew in a large breath. She then let out as loud and long a wail as she could, kicking with her legs as she did so. She wanted her hand made better, chocoboco!

((Yes, Luna doesn't know curse words, so she makes up silly ones as replacement...))

Now she notices. ><;

The hurt hand was waving through the air to try and lessen the pain, but it only made it worse, and Luna's wails went up an octave, confirming what Reing asked. Her hand certainly didn't feel only a little bit red. It should be on fire, considering that was how it felt!

Her screams were slowly starting to climb another octave until the ice pack made her hand feel like it was burning worse - then it started to scale quickly. She had nearly gone up all the way when cold kicked in and her hand went numb. The sounds instantly died to mere whimpers as Luna buried her face against Reign and sniffled before she fell asleep again.

Of course, the sucking habit kicked in, and with her face where it was...

((Papina: Why? It sounds like you're doing a good job... *has been having to deal with Luna for far too long*
Alarai: O.O Can you teach Papina how to do all that? I can't figure out how to get her to do that.
Papina: gonk ))

((Papina: Hmmm... Home and dealing with Luna like she is now, or Store and having to fight embarrassment to try on new things that help deal with grown-up things? ;>> *having trouble deciding* ... I think Store for awhile longer until you have Luna well under control... *is scared of Luna like this*
Alarai: *knows that Luna can do worse and hopes she doesn't* sweatdrop ))

There were actually several pacifiers around, due to the fact that at least most of them vanish at one point or another only to reappear later after they're not needed. At the moment, the only one even partially visible was half hidden in her crib from where she spat it out to wail... but wasn't there another one seen earlier in the fridge? ((There's also at least two hidden among the clean diapers, three hidden among the drawers, another four buried under everything in her crib and one in Papina's room... among others.))

Luna herself managed to stay asleep so far, but she had whined when Reign jumped and shifted in Reign's grip.

((*shall be nice and not have Luna get hungry and bite down do worse yet**coughcoughblushblushlikemymomsaysivedoneblushblushcoughcough*;>>))

Luckily, Luna didn't wake up. She did whimper a bit at the times when Reign was concentrating more on her tail than Luna, but she didn't wake.

As soon as Luna was placed in her crib, the front door made a small thump sound as it was pressed against the lock. Someone was leaning on it from the other side and there were slight scraping sounds as they tried to aim key towards keyhole.

((Le gasp! It is possible? Papina and Alarai are home! Finally!))

((O: I should have waited until next month so it actually would have been a full year... Well, maybe not. It's been long enough as is... ;>> *blushes*))

Luna murmered in her sleep as she reacted slightly to the sounds coming from the front door.

There were sounds of the key finally being inserted and the lock unlocking as the key was turned. There was a low murmer of voices on the other side and the sounds of bags being shuffled around, like they were being passed from person to person. The knob turned and the door finally opened to show Alarai and Papina, both carrying quite a few bags of clothing and other things.

Apparently, Papina had talked her mom into getting at least some of the stuff she wanted.

Alarai walked in first, cautiously, to make sure she didn't wake Luna if she was sleeping. "How'd it go?" she whispered to Reign as Papina came in and shut the door behind them.
