You've heard of it too?! Robert the Doll is one of my latest research subjects! (I love looking at urban legends especially haunted dolls) I know some stuff about it if you wanna know. I'm hoping to go to the museum he's in when I'm older. It's in Florida I think. Pity the poor people working there confused

On one of the 'Chans I'm on, someone has reportedly managed to animate a doll of a Bleach character, as weeabooish as that sounds. Thread's here if anyone fancies reading about it.

Yeah, I know this thread is a tad old, but i must say, I've hated dolls since I was young. Especially those Barbies. Blonde, Blue eyes, weird outfits. I'd swear to you, I ripped of the head of one and hung it somewhere, but the next day, the head was intact. I threw that one away and the next few I had became Gothic Black Haired Barbie.

All I know is if the doll really was possessed or in some way satanic, goat could stand for Baphomet.

baphomet isn't a satanic figure.
I don't know what he stands for, but he isn't necesserily evil

He's depicted in a lot of art as a satanic figure.
I think the media has made him more into one.
Either way its still a similarity.

Well, we should probably remember that while the figure of Satan is a belief in the Christian religion, that spirits, particularly mischievous or chaotic ones are easily flattered and will take any name that suits them. I believe this may be why there are times when we see the ghosts of those that have passed on before us, earthbound spirits that have taken their remaining energies because they found a familiarity with them. So it is possible that the legendary ghost-spirit Baphomet has taken a-liking to that Satanic image. Remember though, this is all speculation. I have nothing to support this theory.

As for a doll saying, "goat." I don't believe it would be anything so nearly as theatrical as the representation of the Christian devil. It is possible that there was some dark ritual involved with a goat and the death of whatever spirit attached itself to the doll.

wow! is what she is telling true??
I would be so creeped out if I had a doll that moved & talked. I don't know what to think about that. I mean, I like many characters from diffrent fandoms, but I woudn't do that for anything in the world. I don't want to be in those kind of problems, who knows what could happen to me.

I won't comment really anything since I know hardly anything about possessed dolls.

omg my cuz told me a story that was like that but it was different: A girl went to a toy shop and saw a old glass doll. She told the shop keep that she wanted it and the keep said "I dont think thats a smart idea pick another one" and went around to the back where only he could go. So the little girl decided she didnt want another one and climbed over the counter, grabbed the doll and left the money on the counter and went home. The shopkeep came out... he had no legs, the bottom of his torso was dripping blood. When the little girl came home, she put the doll on a shelf. That night she heard " Im on the first step, Im on the second step, Im on the third step, Im on the forth step. Im in your moms room im on your moms bed, Im on your moms side! Your mom is dead! That morning, she ran to her moms room, she was dead. She heard the exact same thing twice, for her brother and Father! On the 4th night of having the doll, she hid in her closet and at midnight, she heard the girl singing then when it reached her door, she heard the door open and steps coming closer, then the closet opened and she saw the doll with a butcher knife. The girl begged "please dont kill me!" but the doll told her that there was no one else to kill but her! So the girl counted on her fingers and realized she was the only one left. the doll killed her right when she finished her thought. So everyone who went in there was killed like that! this stupid storie scares the crap out of me!

I hate dolls with a passion. I can't stand them. When my grandma died she left one of her dolls to me and one to my sister. I couldn't stand having mine in my room. It scaried the hell out of me.

There use to be a story about a doll that a girl at my school loved to tell during our ghost telling lunchtime breaks. This is NOT a true story (at least i hope it's not) but i'm not sure where my friend heard it. She may have made it up. But it alway scaried me.

It was about a girl that got given a doll but didn't like it so put it in the cupboard under the stairs. Not long after that she would heard things on the stairs, then one night she heard a voice saying 'I'm on the first step.' The next night she heard someone say 'I'm on the second step'. Night after night she heard this voice getting closer. Finally the voice said 'I'm here.' The next morning the girl was found dead in her bed. Her mother thought that it would make the girl happy to but buired with the doll so they would never be parted since the girl died with it in her arms.

I personally blame this story for my hatered of doll.

I had some dolls when I was young that I liked during the day but at night I would turn them around or put them in the closet because I felt like they were watching me. They really used to creap me out.

My grandmother has a huge collection of porcelain dolls...most of them are from the Philippines from the early 1930's and they all are freakin creepy...I remember I walked into her room and those eyes...they just follow you. And I also remeber the eyes glowing when I slept with my cousins for a sleep over in that room as well. I dare not go into that room ever again, lol

we recently had a craft fair in my area and there was this older woman selling these creepy dolls. i swear each one had its own aura. there was one that just gave off the feeling it wanted to be purchased but the fiance wouldnt let me get it because he didnt like how they made him feel.

i really wish i had at least gotten a number or website from the woman because these dolls had amazing detail and i personally found most of their auras very interesting and somewhat calming

Family and friends of the family had them sitting on shelves and in hutches in groups with those eyes that don't move. Its really creepy to sitting in the room with them eyes looking at you.

That's pretty scary. I always have thought that dolls were creepy looking. Whenever I used to have one, I always turned it around because it always seemed like it was staring directly at me. And personally, I never want to encounter a haunted doll.
