An old man greeted her as she entered the building.
Old guy~ “Hello again 9, come for more information have you?”
9~ “Yea… I know I’m close. The answer to it all is right here if I can just find it.”
Old Guy~ “Time is running out Miss 9. I don’t what to be suck here any longer then I have to.”
9~ “I gave you my word and pledge an oath to help. I won’t stop until you all can rest in peace.”
9 walked onto a little room, closing the door behind her. The old man nodded to her and vanished in a misty smoke.

*TJ reappears just outside Enid town with the small girl in his arms*
Mana.... Hmm. thanks.
*He turns to see the entrance to Enid town. That meant they were quite a ways away from BC. He slowly walks into the town, looking for a place to crash for the night. The whole while he looks down at the girl seeing if there was anything seriously wrong*

*TJ gets multiple suspicious looks and stares from lots of people in the town, but he doesn't care. All he wanted was a place to stay for the night. His 8 floating swords didn't seem to be around. He finds and in and walks in. The cashier deemed a little wary of TJ*
man: Hoi...what.... can I do for ya
TJ: I need a room for two for at least one night.
Man: You wouldn't happen to have a record would ya?
TJ: What'd you mean?
Man: I just don't want no trouble sir.
TJ: Nor do I intend to cause it unless provoked.*glares a little*
Man: Er... *is freaked* right... room for two for one night. that'll be 20 gold pieces
TJ: *hands over 30 and starts to head up to a room*
Man: Uh sir... there's too much here
TJ : Keep it... I don't need it...
Man: Um..thank you...
*TJ figured it would be best to keep on the good side to avoid trouble until the girl was out of his hands. He finds his room and walks into it, closing to door behind him. He walks over to one of the beds, pulls the cover back and places the girl under the covers. Once she's under he removes his paopei, just incase it suddenly got energy and its effect was activated. He tucks her in tight and then lets out a sigh. He pretty much stays up the rest of the night looking out the window. He figures he'd get the girl some real clothing first thing tomorrow. Then they would wait until he was sure Aeris had revived....after that.... he would return the girl to her. Once done with that it was time to go after Mastema again*.....

Time passes and the child sleeps, serenely nestled in her covers. As day begins to break, shining a soft light into the inn, the young girl finally begins to stir. Her eyes blink open as she slowly starts to rise in her bed and pull the covers up around her. As she starts to look around though, she looks very confused, as if truely unsure just where she is right now. Her soft blue eyes, the same color of TJ's fall upon his form by the window sill and for a while she just stares at him.

*TJ had slept little and changed into relatively normal clothing earlier in the morning. His dark blue pants and black shirt, along with his gloves, make up his outfit. The only item he still wore from yesterday was his paopei head band. After a few moments of waiting he realizes that Aileen is awake. He turns his head a little, but of course he couldn't see her. Still... he had trouble thinking of what to say*
....Good morning....
*He gets up and slowly walks over to sit on the bed opposite yet very close to the girl's bed. He suddenly realizes something*
...Can you talk?...

"Y..yeah..." Aileen finally speaks, though her words are a little hesitant since this is the first time shes ever really spoken. One could imagine Forge had given her the ability while she was in the tank though. As TJ starts to move towards the bed, the little girl hugs the blanket tighter to her and grows a little tense. She still did not really know who the man way so she was a little wary.

*nods a little. At least it wouldn't be too difficult to communicate with her. Twi senses that she's a little scared.... not surprising. His lips twist into a faint smile*
That's good. Oh... of course....
*He reaches over on the table and pulls off a small ragged cloak. He places it next to Aileen*
It's... not much but it'll have to do for now. I'll be able to get you some real cloth later...... you're not hurt are you?
*He relaxes a little, trying to relieve some of the wary tension between him and Aileen*

When the cloak is placed to her side, she glances down to it silently for a moment. A small hand reaches out to pull it towards her and she nods back to TJ. "Thank you." She then whispers before falling shy once more. "Im not hurt, i dont think. "She starts to glance around her body just to be sure.
"So.. who are you?"

Good to see you're not hurt..... uh...
*TJ falls silent at the question. He wasn't sure quite how to reply.... but he thought it best that she be kept in the dark about their relation to one another*
My name is....well.... I don't really know what my name is though. I guess if you have to call me something, then call me TJ. It's what...my name... used to be. *pause* Do you have a name?

Even though TJ might be trying to hide his identity from her, the child has learned a lot in her glassy prison. Her head tilts to the side at the mention of his name and slowly she starts to lean forward a little.
"TJ?" It sounds soo familiar, as if she had heard it somewhere before. "Daddy?"

*TJ's mind freezes over at that. Kuso! He should've been more careful than that. He puts on a fake stupid expression and waves his palm a little*
Oh! Did I say TJ? I'm sorry.... my mind was caught up thinking about where I'm going to take you. TJ is well known at a building about 37 miles from this town. I was going to take you there in hopes that someone knew who you were. But it's good to see you know some things about yourself. I don't suppose you know anything else about yourself?

Blinking a little, the littlle girl tilts her head. She really isnt sure if she should believe him, the whole act seems a little off so to speak. She presses her lips thin before scooting forward once more and coming up beside TJ.
"You dont need to lie." She whispers softly, something about what he said clearly didnt sit well with her. "I know that name, I heard it often. Like someone was standing beside me saying it, a girl I think." She glances up once more to TJ's face, her brow furrowing a little. "Why do you wear that?" She then says as she points to the blindfold.

*Damn this kid was smart!... too curious. TJ was skeptical about confessing everything. Maybe she'd heard the name from one of the Aeris's he'd....slaughtered while on the harvester. When she asks about the paopei he sees it as an oppurtunity to change the subject. He runs two fingers along the head band blindfold. It was completely dark purple except for a thinner, black leather band that made it tight enough to fit his head*
This? Well... it's sort of a way I keep myself safe. It lets me use my brain and mind in many different ways. It also keeps me from seeing anything, so I can't fear what I can't see. I know you're right by me though, in a way I can "feel" your there.... but I can't see you by looking at you.

TJ was right about one thing, she did hear his name from Aeris, probably the very one he killed. Her hand lifts just a little more and presses against the blindfold as she listens to him talk. "Can you take it off?" She inquires and tilts her head a little as her little fingers grip the fabric and try and pull it loose.

*TJ's hand darts up on top of Aileen's hand when she pulls on the fabric. But he instantly realizes his rash reaction and his hand softens. He gently moves her hand away and lets it rest in his palm. He looks in her direction*
Well.. I could. But... why do you want me to take it off?
*TJ was afraid right now. That heaband gave him a sense of security by preventing him from seeing. He feared that if he took it off and looked at his daughter that old feelings would come flooding back to him and tear him apart. He'd killed this girls mother and also watched her die several times. He couldn't look this girl straight in the eye... not after everything*
