My teacher's son dressed up as a Dalek!! It looked so cool, he turned a metal trashcan into it but his hat kept falling over his eyes. He looked cute, he's a youngin... I need the brown pinstripes and trenchcoat in that color before I can pull off the Tenth Doctor, otherwise, the Ninth I've dressed up as. My Doctor Avvie is celebrating Easter by having a baby chick on his head!

I once wore a 4th Doctor costume. I looked terrible and fat, and the wig was bad, too. I don't show this to very many people, so be kind.

It's not the best picture in the world, but here's my Rose costume. It looks like my petticoats could use some work. Also... I have apparently stolen the Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver...

Pretty good costumes, folks! Wind-Whisper, I don't think the wig looks bad at all... although I'm sort of distracted by that funky uniform standing behind you. And SpinnersEnd, that pose looks very Rose-ish.

I'm back from Anime Boston(well actually I been back since Monday). Believe or not, my friend and I ran into someone who went as the 4th Doctor. So of course I had to take his picture! I couldn't wait to share it with you guys. :3 Enjoy. I wish I had my own Doctor Who outfit to share, but I don't. I don't even know who I would even make a costume of. O: I was a bit surprise to see him cause normally you don't get many Doctor Who people at an anime convention(it was a good surprised :3 ). He wasn't the only non-anime costume we saw. There was also a Darth Vader, a group of X-Men, Dean and Hank from The Venture Brothers, and(this one really surprised me)two guys as Zombie Ed and Shaun from Shaun of the Dead.

Eirwyn BWAHAHAAA! Cough it up, y'all! mrgreen I made it WORSE & I wore it to a con Colin was at! mrgreen It was a deliberate parody of his costume, showing everybody how much worse it COULD have been. Colin cringed. lol He observed that must be what it was like for everyone looking at him--he wasn't aware of the effect, he said, being INSIDE the suit looking out.... I should dig it out & take better pictures, of the back panels & all...it's really insane looking! Got any blackmail photos of the !3th Doctor from Atlanta Fantasy Fair of 85? That year, on a dare, I entered the costume contest as the !3th Doctor..the regeneration that went wrong...this short, fullfigured woman (me) with curly brown hair and a milelong scarf..and an overcoat and forties style hat...and a blue skirt! I didn't place, but got an ovation, or so I am told...(couldn't see without my glasses..they had to basically give me a gentle push to get me on the stage...thank god the helpers wore costumes..else I would still be trying to find my way off stage....) I would post pictures, but they are in GA at my brother's place. Someday..someday...!

No, I didn't start going to cons until 1988 (wanted to go to MOC '87 soooo bad... crying ) Neither do I think I have any pics of you & that friend of yours in the 6th Doctor costume at DixieTrek in--I think--1990, either. When the two of you did a routine in the costume contest of Avon meeting the 6th Doctor...? mrgreen

Pobably unrelated to everything but I was watching a sort of clip reel of the of the 6th doctor. Look it up under BableColour 6th dcotor tribute on Youtube. Any how. At the end of the vid seen only for a breif second the doctor is wearing a totally blue vertion of his garish coat. (I have to admit this vertion is much better.) How ever what episode is it from I cant seem to find any referance to it in anyother episodes/storys.

Peri's costume is blue too I seem to remember.

Maybe...but didn't he have a much cooler version of his costume for the "Ultimate Adventure" stage play? I saw detailed photos of it in a UK fanzine years ago & did detailed sketches of it. I think that coat was in fact blue. *goes to research it online* EDIT: blaugh Success! It's really hard to find this--the promo photos all seem to have him in his regular TV series costume. Maybe because they had to get him promoted & ready fast, after Jon suddenly couldn't continue. The Top Photo! Note the frilly cuffs, & you can't see it so well on this small image, but the top of the sleeves are now velvet, either purple or dark blue, not sure which!
