They don't fear their powers, nor are they ashamed of them. The display their differences proudly. And their partner animals are nothing to sneeze at." He glanced at Umi with a soft look. "They used to be friends of mine." Umi blinked, confused. Raiden looked at Greed again. "Fine. I'll let you help us. But only because we're in a tight spot." Raiden turned, and ushered Umi into a corner. "Oh and, by the way...thanks for the compliment." Raiden winked and chuckled. "It's nice to be young again. I do despise being old." Raiden scoffed. "Only a fool shows off his power so brashly. Save it for the fight. And remember, they'd better be alive at the end of the battle, or I cannot even begin to think of what this poor, grief-stricken girl will do to you." He nodded towards Umi. Umi looked at Raiden, concerned. " You're not going to use your powers, are you?" Raiden chuckled. "Maybe. I'm hoping it won't come to that. I may upset my father if I do. I made a promise to him I wouldn't go using my powers all willy-nilly like." Raiden glanced at Greed with a serious look. "We won't be getting out of here without a fight. I told you that." A thump sounded on the roof. Raiden glanced up. "Well, speak of the little devils...here they come." Umi shivered. The locks on the door glowed red, and melted together, fusing the door in it's hinges. Raiden cursed. "Dangit. These kids are planning on trapping us in here!" Raiden whirrled around. "Can someone get the doors open? Or a window? Move! We don't have time to stand around!" Raiden grabbed Umi's wrist, and started for the back.
