Right now, i am reading the Adventures of Alice in Wonderland

It's really good and i do like it. It makes me think about the differences it has between the disney movie and the actual book. and how old the book is, and yet it does not fail to interest me. It is so much fun.

I just finished reading In the Garden of Iden by Kage Baker.
I wasn't impressed with her writing style, but her idea for the book itself was original. It would have been better if she focused on time travel and the immortals more.

I'm currently reading Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, Lasher by Anne Rice, Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austin [It is such a beautiful story]
and In the Name of Satan by Wensley Clarkson Spoiler[A book about idiotic devil worshipping teenage boys that decide to have a human sacrifice. Based on a true & sad story with pictures and quotes taken from mouth.]

Recently Finished: Star Wars: Tatooine Ghost, by Troy Denning
Currently Reading: Webmage, by Kelly McCullough; The Naming, by Alison Croggon; The Scarlet Letter, by Nathaniel Hawthorne; Star Wars: The Courtship of Princess Leia

Tatooine Ghost was AWESOME. I couldn't put it down, and I'm sad that I finished it. I've picked up another of my many Star Wars books, though, so I'm still happy enough. I'll be going through them, and then looking for new ones.

I just finished Motor Mouth by Janet Evanovich. On a scale of 1-10, I'd have to give it 9/10. The book was funny and adventurous. If you like contemporary novels, I suggest you read this one. ^^

Book One: Metro Girl
Book Two: Motor Mouth

Happy Reading! heart

Recently Finished: The Scarlet Letter, by Nathaniel Hawthorne; Star Wars: The Courtship of Princess Leia, by Dave Wolverton
Currently Reading: The Naming, by Alison Croggon; Star Wars: Planet of Twilight, by Barbara Hambly

You know what? I'm not even going to keep Webmage up there anymore...

Just took a quiz (on Friday, at least) on the final chapters of The Scarlet Letter! I still don't like the book, but I can't put it out of my mind until I take the unit test after break.

Finished The Courtship of Princess Leia the other day. It was very nice, but not as good as Tatooine Ghost (though I doubt many Star Wars books are, to me).

Started reading Planet of Twilight right after finishing the last Star Wars book, 'cause I went to the library and took out all the ones that interested me, even though I've read them multiple times already. This one's the one that I kept thinking of while reading the last one, too, and I'm very happy with it so far.

I'm currently reading The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. It's the first book in the Gentlemen Bastards series, and it is awesome!

The first page just draws you right into the story and it keeps you connected the whole way through.

well, over the last week I just finished the bartumus trilogy, I was so ticked too! I got the first book from my school library and they didn't have the last two so I went out and bought them. Sure enough as soon as I am done with Ptolemy's gate (( the final book)) they get in a new shipment of books, complete with two copies of the final two books! evil

That shipment also came with a pile of Tamora Pirece books, all of which I had gotten a few months back after complaining to the librarian that she only had the second series and not the first or any of the other three! crying

I finally finished Devil Wears Prada!

It was okay but after I was done reading for the day and put it down I had to force myself to pick it back up again.

I'm not currently reading anything, I'm going to wait a day or two to start another book because it took so long to finish Devil Wears Prada.

At the moment I'm reading The Keys To The Kingdom series by Garth Nix. They are really good, unfortunately there are only 4 books out, I'm on the third one.

I finished Patricia Briggs' Blood Bound earlier this week. I loved the previous Moon Called and enjoyed having Stefan as more of a prominent character. Yes, I'm a sucker for vampires. The only thing that I didn't like was how Mercy looks at Stefan when he kills those human sheep to protect her. Wouldn't she kill to protect the ones she'd love? She killed werewolves so what's the difference between them and humans? Apart from that it was great. If Briggs writes another installment in this series, I guess it'll have something to do with the Fae?

At the moment I am reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World. I'm just over the half point of the novel and now is when it's really starting to pick up in excitement. I think it's reached that point where I want to stay up all night reading until it is finished. Not that I can due to school...
