Strange had crossed her arms and listened to the others, silently processing the information. She'd taken out a yellow legal pad from her bag and was jotting down a few notes.

utterkaos Vincente "I suppose, but then again, I'm thinking we only have part of the story at our hands right now. Anything done only partly will seem strange, but I'm hoping Lorna can find something that will give us a better idea of what to expect. Then again.... There's no way to even tell if the stars have anything to do with that meteor." A grimace passed over his face as he realized that indeed, he was out of smokes. He shrugged, obviously trying to pass it off like it didn't matter, and tapped his fingers on the table. "Ah i hate buying a puzzle with out all the peices." kaos leaned back in his chair like so many a kid in high school..a habit he had wile thinking. "So many species come to gaia and some times i wonder why.What makes our little blue ball so special.Sure we have a high oxigen content lots of life and one of the best drinks ever, but why our planet?"as kaos say this he noticed the tention in vincentes body and remembered his bad habit o smokeing"dude im sry i dont smoke." "Mm?" V looked up distractedly and shook his head. "No biggy. As for why so many species come to gaia is the location. Of course. Location location location. But there are so many other reasons I suppose."

"ah so gaia is like a giant hot spot becase we are just here..awww i was hopeing it was for our charming good looks." kaos said this just as his chair settled back to all fours. he noticed the music had been acompenied now by sining "hey v ant to go check this out?"

utterkaos "ah so gaia is like a giant hot spot becase we are just here..awww i was hopeing it was for our charming good looks." kaos said this just as his chair settled back to all fours. he noticed the music had been acompenied now by sining "hey v ant to go check this out?" "Most aliens think we're the ugliest thing around." He chuckled and tapped his fingers in time to the music without realizing it. "Mm? I suppose we could go check it out. I came here to get something to eat, but I'm not all that hungry anymore." V pushed his chair back and exited the cafeteria with Kaos in tow as they made their way through the winding silver corridors with the lights muted due to the hour. Eventually he finally came to find the girls with their music and clapped silently with a smirk upon his face. "Bravo."

Agent SK44 walked back in right at the same time as Agent V. With a rare smile on his face, he nodded to V and joined in the silent applause. "That was great." He said with uncharacteristic enthusiasm.

Kaos joinded in the silent clap and chuckled to him self he said just under his breath so only the two angents next to him heard "wow didnter and a show..gib is realy steping up in the entertainment..whats next, oh i hope a bouncy bounce."

The song died down after a time, and feeling quite refreshed, Lorna slowly slid her fingers away from the keys, a smile on her lips as she stood, a quiet falling back over the room. Patting Ricepaper on the shoulder, she nodded to her in thanks. “That was lovely.” No sooner has she said anything, she spun around at the sound of applause, finding a flush creeping up her neck at the abundance of compliments. “Oh… um, thank you. All work and no play does make a dull agent- so I needed to get in my play time.” Winking, she walked toward the other agents, tugging on the little black thing she was wearing before clapping them on the shoulders softly as well. “Goodnight, I need my rest if we're going to be cracking that code all day tomorrow. Take it easy.” With that, she retired, vanishing to the corridors toward her makeshift room.

V grimaced at the thought of the code and sighed.
"No sleep on my part. But I'm not going without any more smokes. I'm making a run into town, anyone coming with me?"
V surveyed the room looking to see if anybody would take him up on his offer.

kaos put his hands in his trench pokets and wiped his head makeing his hair flip away from his eyes. "ya ill come i havent left the base for a week lol, they have been runing test on my paranormal abilitys..and yes that did involve a probe. Dont worrie i got clearence to leave."

"Alright then, meet me over at the hanger. We'll take the BMW into town. At least I think that's the one with the big red button still engaged. I need to swing by the armory first and pick up my weapon."
V wandered off after shooting a brief wave to Kaos as he slipped through the door. The compound was a eerily silent compared to its normal bustle and throngs of crowds. The silver corridors were dimly lit to match the outside darkness and V checked his watch to find it was getting close to 11. He shrugged and finally came across the glass walled armory lab. After knocking on the closest portal he ducked inside.
"Hey RD. My weapon ready?"
The balding scientist in his white coat did not even bother looking up from whatever circuitry he was messing with and just pointed to a stand where a brilliant chrome device sat.

Brail leaned back in his chair. He closed his eyes and thought a little bit. About the code, about tommorrow, and about what's could happen. He needed some energy drink. Maybe some coffee. He relized that the music stopped. Now was the time when he needed it. He thought about his past and soon fell asleep in the chair.

SK44 walked outside and went quicly to his favorite tree to sit under. One he got there, he pulled an old and battered looking recorder from his bag. He cast a look around to see if anyone was near. Then he quietly started to play the same tune he had just heard inside while keeping a watch on the front entrance for when V and Kaos left. A trip to town was exactly what he needed.

Kaos headed tword the hanger..when suddenly he felt the hair on the back of his neck raise up. as if something had scared him or a strong magnetic paulse had come close. his eyes flashed an erie purple color as black flames curled down his arm into claws and flames swirled around his feet. he stoodin the hall for a short time feeling around him as the magnetic feel slowly dissapeared. the flames retracted up in to his coat as he kept walking his mind quesioning only one thing... his powers only activated when he felt in danger...but what had caused this..in the place he felt most safe.
