A lot of chinese people have glasses.. but i think that's either because of genetics, reading in the dark or watching tv or on the computer too often. Half of the asians in the school that I know have either glasses or contacts (or both), but there's also another half that does have those. Well.. actually.. Most of the smart ones have glasses xd

me nd my sister have glasses but i dunt wear mine in public well .. only in class but thats it nd my parents nd even my grandma didnt have glasses so it was me my sis nd my grandpa nd i have another sis hus 6 ull never no if she needs glasses or not confused

Seems like a lot of Chinese kids wear glasses, doesn't it?
I don't know the situation now in China or Hong Kong or Taiwan, but at my school over here in Toronto, majority of the Chinese do not wear glasses. I think it's either because a lot of the girls are wearing contacts or because visual impairment just isn't that bad for Chinese outside of Greater China. lol

i have no idea if i count as a chinese person as i'm like..1/5 chinese?
but i wear glasses and/or contacts
and no one else in my family does
my parents are like..40 something and i'm like, 15

1/2 of my family wears either contacts or glasses including me (i was devastated)...my mom told me not to read so many kid-cartoony books anymore (she's refering to manga by the way stressed ) but i can't help it xd

Hara Tsubasa Tokioka Hara Tsubasa hmm.. I want contacts... stare Then get some! You'd probably be ok, the one main thing about contacts is that you never, ever wash them out with water. Most people who use contacts carefully won't encounter any problems with their eyesight, it's just those few people who don't disinfect them properly that give contacts a more risky image.

ME! i wear glasses...Not proud of em either...gosh i HATE them. Dats why i never wear them. If i rlly need to read something in class i prolly just ask the person next to me. I need contacts lol

I need contacts lol That's what I do to this day lol. Even when I'm wearing my contacts, my eyesight's still no way near as good as my friend's. *sigh* sweatdrop
