well, when everyone saw that ps3 tech demo last year featuring the starting scene of ff7, rumours of a remark got everyone hyped up. But then apparently SE they said it was just a "tech demo" and that they have no plans of a ff7 remake since they're already busy with ff13....BUT THEN...this came along recently....  hmmmm, dunno whats happening now..... confused

I think if they remake anything, it should be FF Tactics.

But seriously, why the hell would you say, "It's just a demo. There is no FF7 remake blah blah blah...". You KNOW you're exciting your fans just by showing Cloud's spikey-good a**-graphicky looking hair in game form. So then why would you show ppl and then say "no" just to upset your fans??? neutral Square Enix knows that's not a "smooth move".
They better remake FF7 or i'll hate them forever evil crying

My view on this is that they SHOULD remake it. The reason why is so the storyline can be passed on to other generations, the seniors to FF7 can enjoy the same good old gameplay (perhaps slightly better control on some parts and a few improvements on the mini-games), and to add in the content that was left out when the US version was released. Because they left a lot of side-stories out that were in the japanese version.

I think that they should remake it for the ps3. As long as they dont touch the story of the plot or anything like that. They need just to give it better graphics. It would be totally awesome then. xd

I Love Final Fantasy VII, and even though I love the original the most, I would also love to see it remade. I know if they did it may not live up to the original, but I would still love to see graphics like in the Advent Children Movie, and Voice acting. I would keep the battle system and maping and what not, because if you change those...it's just not Final Fantasy VII anymore, know what I mean XD

I think they should, it would be intresting to see the brilliant graphics and voices of the characters.
Plus it is really hard finding the games.

I had to buy it off my friends brother to get it XD I have seen a lot of petitions out there for it, think any will accually go to our friends at square enix?

Shidobu Rorudo I'd buy a PS3 just for the remake. That makes two of us ^^ FF7 was the first RP game I played, and ever scince then, I have compared it to every RP game I have played =3. The storyline is indepth and keeps you guessing, the fight style is simpley suprub and eve thought the grafics compared to know are a lil "no-cuttin edge wink ", back in that time it was KICKEN =D! Personaly i sitll love the FF7 grafics and I think I always will (untill they remake it/IF) But I would so buy a PS3 just for that game ^^.

Doc_Holiday55 I think if they remake anything, it should be FF Tactics. heh, agreed but after they remake Final Fantasy Tactics, I think I'd like seeing a remake of Final Fantasy VII. Even after all this time, the game is still amazing, but I think remaking it would be pretty cool mainly for the updated graphics. they had just better make sure they don't mess with too much else. I would actually like to see some added back story or something for some of the characters or something like that. of course, I'd be HIGHLY disappointed if it was remade poorly

The problem with the poll on this topic. The only questions are. shouldthey remake 7 for ps3. yes or no. i said no because.. while i want a 7 remake. I don't want it only on the ps3.. cux the 3 is a total waste of money and blows major chunks. put it on the wii and 360/or pc...
