Jizzy leapt up at the loss of her glasses. No one, I repeat NO ONE touched the shades! Her eyes flashed with a mix of mock anger and determination as she strched out trying to reach her prized glasses.

Tobias gave a short hoop as a greeting to Sanar and settled down in front of her. He remembered this one from the festival. Oh Oh, she was the one who liked his song. He rememebered this and began to click the few lines of music he knew, hoping to impress her.

A sinister smirk spread across Jizzy's lips as she sidestepped quickly and lunged at Chao from her side. She would recover her glasses. Or die trying. SHe thought automatically, but then actually froze and laughed out loud at the chocie of words..

"or die trying.."

She repeated through gasps of hysterical laughter.

Tobias saw her spread her wings and took this as a sign of approval. He gave a happy hoop as he finished his lines and drew close to her, brushing his head against her neck. He hoped this friendly gesture would get him on the right foot with the other gryphon.

Jizzy was still laughing incredibly, as she tried to pant out an explaination.

"I was.. *laugh* thinking *chuckle* that I would *giggle* get my glasses abck *snigger* or die trying!"

With the last three words she burst into uncontrolable laugher once more.

Tobias felt another swell fo pride as she returned the gestured and gave a soft affectionate hoop. He had a friend now. He ahd often heard his mtoher speak to him about friends and now.. he though he had one.

It took Jizzy a good five minutes to regain her breath and stop laughing. She panted once more and sighed.

'Oh..goodness. Uh,.. Cna I have my glasses back now?"

SHe asked, still remembering that she lacked them.

Tobias have an exited hoop and made his way down the corridor with Sanar. He was in no way as fast as Sanar, seeing as she had much longer legs, but he was not far behind. He scanned his surroundings, trying to find something new.

Motivation was much like a steel trap for Wyv; it either clamped on to her fiercely, or missed her entirely.

Had this motivation been an actual steel trap instead of just a metaphorical one, she'd be in a world of hurt right now.

She peered questioningly at the note Anthony had left up. Did she have any of those items? Her memory failed her however and she gave it up with a shrug, making a mental note to go and check later and re-focused on the task at hand.

With precise, patient motions, the machinist tacked her own notice on the board, done in rather large and scrawling hand writting.



Wyv finished by attaching a pen to a string and hanging it next to her message. "There," she said, quite satissfied. "Wachoo think, bloo?" She turned to look for Makai, who had been attacking her shoe laces.

...had being the key word.

"Bloo?"

"Hmm...?" Belatedly, Wyv turned, realizing she was being addressed. Oh, hey, there was a person! And not one she was accquainted with. She didn't look familiar. New guardians on the island? And no one said anything? She had the urge to put something wet and slime in someone's bed, but she wasn't sure who.

"Yep!" Wyv puffed out her chest in an inflated show of pride. "Well, Chao helped. It was a mutual thing. This place hasn't been too active since the Summer Festival and I wasn't here for that." Her face darkened slightly, thoughts of that time brought up bad memories, but they quickly passed, shoved out of the way. She'd deal with her problems on her own time.

"... actually, I think we decided on horror films mostly to have a splash fight. Or something." She was rambling now. She gave a sheepish grin. "But if you're not the only person new to the island, maybe we can turn it into a welcome fest!" Her face split into a wide grin. "Any excuse to party," the green-haired woman proclaimed, hre grin turning impish.

Abruptly, her grin vanished. "Oh, hey, you didn't perhaps see a little blue and tan torpedo on your way over here? I seem to have misplaced mine."

"He likes to wander off," she explained, oblivious to the other woman's hesitance and more than slight confusion. "I know there aren't any beasties that could really hurt him or anything around here, but still..." she trailed off into a grimace and a shrug. "It's bad form."

Sliding around on the floors was fun! The halls were so much wider and longer than thsoe at home. But now, his curiosity was sated from scampering about the bigwideplace and he wanted a scritch or two. So carefully, stealthily, Makai crept back to where he had left his Green One.

And there was another One with her! He liked the big ones, 'cause they were big! Even if this one wasn't as big as the others. He scooted closer, wondering if her shoe laces tased good.
