Rikku nodded at the explanations, her brow crinkling with concentration. She used Naruto's "away time" to digest some of the information in between. By the time he was finished, Rikku felt she mostly understood. Some things were still sketchy, but Rikku found she could not figure out a way to ask questions that would clear them up. Perhaps after she could sleep on the information. Holidays in general were still kind of new to her.
Snuggling into his arm she giggled. "Of course! I never turn down ice cream!" Of course, she never turned down any chance of sweets -especially around Naruto.
However she did make a little mue of concern. "But you've spent so much already... couldn't I get this?"

Naruto smiles and shakes his head as he leads them to the ice cream parlor, "I'm happy to buy us dinner and a movie and I was hoping to buy us dessert before we head back home!! I like spoiling you Rikku!" he says, giving her a kiss on the cheek before they step inside.

She blushes crimson at that, never having been spoiled before & finding she quite likes the feeling. "ah... okay... I'll just have anything kahlua again if they've got it..." Rikku says once they're inside.

Naruto chuckles and nods as they stand in front of the counter to make their orders. He orders himself a bowl with Rocky Road in it, and Rikku a Kahlua's & Cream bowl as well. He wags his tail about happily as their orders are scooped up and prepared and he whips out his wallet to pay for the orders, silently sighing that almost all his money is gone, but it was definetely worth it. After maying, he puts his wallet back and then leads her to a little table where they can sit and enjoy their ice cream together.

Rikku sits happily at the table, closing her eyes in happiness as she tastes her first bite of ice cream. "mmm..."
Her tail flicks happily behind her. She opens her eyes to smile at Naruto. "Thank you."

Naruto smiles loving, "You're worth it Rikku..." he whispers. Blushing hotly over his words, he digs into his ice cream, his tail still wagging about. Man, when did he turn into such a sap?!

Swirling green eyes lit up happily & Rikku paused in eating her ice cream to reach her hand across the table to lay atop Naruto's. "I wanna do something for you, Ruto. I don't know what yet, but I'm going to think of something!"
With that she smiled & returned to her own ice cream with a vengance.

Naruto felt his heart starting to speed up in his chest and his face go red when Rikku grabs his hand across the table and declare she will do something for him. He shots his imagination as it starts to go wild suddenly and he goes back to eating his ice cream, refraining from whining that it is almost gone. He guessed he should slow down on his intake of food. Once he finishes off his bowl, he licks the spoon clean and puts the cup part of it on his nose, leaning back in his chair.

More so than with dinner, Rikku has rapidly eaten her icecream. She likes it firm. So she is nearly finished when Naruto puts his spoon on his nose & blinks just before starting to giggle. "Ruto... what're you doing?"

Naruto was starting to let his mind wander, not really thinking on the fact he had the spoon on his nose. When Rikku speaks to him, he blinks a few times and then chuckles, taking the spoon off, "Don't know, guess I was just being....a little silly!" he says with a smile.

She winked playfully, cleaning out her bowl before meeting his eyes again. "I like you silly, Ruto."
Pushing her bowl to the side she stood & stretched a little. "I wanna be silly too. How 'bout we go see Yunie now so I can get out of this kimono thing & be silly with you."
Then, as the thought occured to her. "Um... unless you had something else in mind."

Naruto stands up and nods, smiling, "Nah, we can head over to my home, Yuna and Tidus are probably still up!!" he says, taking her hand and leading her outside. Looking about, he finally spots Dimitrus and waves him over. Once the two are finally settled on the saddle, Naruto steers the horse away from the shops and theater and out of the city, heading to his home.

"hmmm... I hope so." Snuggling into Naruto sideways she tilts her head up to him, a look of entreaty on her face. The look shifts slightly to the mischievous as Rikku kisses the ninja lightly. "Hey Ruto..." Another small kiss. "Dimitrus knows the way, right?" Her swirling green eyes twinkle with delight & she kisses him again, a little longer. "Neither of us are using our legs to stand or walk..." She slips her arms around Naruto's neck, holding their faces together. "It's a good time to jelly our legs, wouldn't you say?"

Naruto was about close his eyes for a moment when he felt Rikku shift about and wrap her arms around his neck. He blinks a few times over what she says and he smiles mischieviously as well, letting the reigns go and wrapping his arms around her waist, "I do believe you are correct..." he whispers. Then he presses his lips against hers, having wanted to kiss her like that since the start of their date.

Smiling into the kiss, Rikku presses as close as she possibly can with her torso twisted. She plays with the back of his neck without messing up the ninja's hair and deepens the kiss. Rikku had been wanting this too. And now... she put all of her enjoyment of the evening & everything she had held back throughout the evening with her love into that kiss.
