Jadie Dov Charney makes me want to punch someone. What's really sad is that most of the fashion department in my school probably has at least one of his shirts and wears it like it's going out of style. on an unrelated note Conemonster is in one of my classes. She's obscenely cutesy and this one other girl eats up EVERYTHING she does. I'll admit i like her stuff but moreso because she's pretty good at Illustrator and i have no decent practice with vectors. Aside from that i told her her devart stuff looked very Japanese, and when i say Japanese i meant that it was very Gothic Lolita influenced, and she started freaking out like "OMG I HAVE NO STYYYYYLE D:" I thought it was kind of funny, but i'm also an a** like that. Since i don't think he's been brought up yet, I can't stand Bleedman. All i can think of when i see his stuff is how much he rips off Joe Madureira and that most of it is pretty damn ***** amazed Bara-Chan hasn't been brought up yet.
Ah...? I kind of like Bleedman. D= I do think he's lacking in creativity... I mean, have we seen anything from him that ISN'T a previously-made cartoon? He does have that character "Bell," but she's pretty much a PPG Mary-Sue. Hm.
Bara-Chan's art kind of makes me cringe and kind of makes me stare in some sort of awe (but definitely not the good kind). I like how bright her colors are, but her style rubs me the wrong way.

That Pretty Gay One Jadie Bara-Chan's art kind of makes me cringe and kind of makes me stare in some sort of awe (but definitely not the good kind). I like how bright her colors are, but her style rubs me the wrong way. I'd probably be more impressed with her stuff if she did other body types aside from skinny girls with large breasts.

Bleedman is a professional illustrator. Everything we see on DA is his free time stuff.
Stuff just for fun.
Kind of like Bri-Chan!
As for ripping off of Joe Mad; Mr. Mad-Dog was inspired by Japanese animation as classic American comics. Kind of like the rest of us.
Besides, Joe Mad ripped off of Patrick Nagel, who bit off of old Geisha drawings.
I love Bara's work, but I think she gets like Celesse in that all of her stuff ends up looking the same.
I'd love to see more variety from both Vinz and Rose. heart

Allow me to introcude KeaLe the Yaoi God. Overpried? Just a tad. I could take teh piss out of her over personality. Over ego. Over so many things. But I wont! <3 Because thanks to her website, I am getting some nice happy-fun-time publicity for my own websites. Which also suck and art overpriced but bleh. Regardless... 800k for this... And i asked for a real-money quote? $50-$80 for an uncoloured sketch This is NOT 800k worth of art. I don't care who you are. Also, may I note that the sketch hasn't even been cleaned up properly?

I don't mind ramy's realism pics, but the anime ones are rather boring. The two people that REALLY bug me though are sweetly_25 here, and novienar. Sweetly sells her headshots, simple anime styled, two color cell-shaded headshots for 45 fricken k. I don't get it at all, I'd pay around...3-5k for one personally. Maybe 10k if I was being realy generous. And novienar, don't get me wrong, I definatly think she has talent, but all she draws are characters with the same face, the same face that looks exactly like loish's (whose I quite like) and undetailed clothes. Heck, undetailed everything. I don't know how she got such a huge following...

I'm confused as to why there aren't a thousand fangirls pissing all over her. Very confused... But other than that, I don't mind her. It'll be interesting to see if she develops her own style over time. It's like a dysfunctional case study. Hahaha. (this is only funny to me, I know) It's too bad when artists (like Bri-chan..ect) seem like they've only got one note. I'm really curious about her non-fanart work. Though I think she may have mentioned at one point that she doesn't post it for fear of thieves (knowing dA, that's a given). Jumble i wish i could e overrated and overpaid, dont you sad Yes. rofl Would anyone in here really complain about it? Being egotistical is one thing, but complain about having money? ....ehh, no.

I was just about to comment that that looked exactly like a yoish style-hijacking.
I already shared my thoughts on loish, i personally like her stuff...but style hijacks are the worst, especially when people are building their own fan-base on it.

I think her art has actualy gotten WORSE then back in the day when she used to update on Yerf regularly. She's totaly revamped her artstyle so it would fit in with what's popular. I'm so sick of seeing the same art from diffrent people.
Uh. I can't STAND the artist Keiiii (or however many i's are in her name). At first I thought she was kind of okay, but I've learned that she's really rather snobbish at times and overprices her art. 100k-200k for a bust.
Plus (and this sounds like pure jealousy) she wins so many art contests with things like Miniwings or slippers for grand prizes that it gets a bit sickening. Honestly, the only thing she has going for her is composition ability/pretty shiny tricks with Photoshop/Painter. Her coloring skills are rather basic and her anatomy (particularly facial. D: ) is just basic. I don't know... It's just kind of extreeeemely frustrating. D<
