Glancing up Kimondo smiled. "I am fine, Koho. Just a little wet is all." She stopped her persitant licking of her paw. "Looks like you were a lucky one, you're not wet at all." She points out a bit aggrivated. Why had SHE been the one to get wet.

She laughed, "Well, you know me..." she replied impishly, though her eyes were soft. "It started up very suddenly, I'd imagine most everyone got wet, at some point, I've just dried already..." she comforted. "Where were you that it took so long to get back?"

"The Waterhole." Kimondo replied before she returned to licking herself dry. "You must have been close to the den to be back and dry already." She noted.

Koho nodded, "I was looking for Sukutu, I havn't seen him around much..." she muttered. A loud thunderclap followed her statement causing her to frown. "He's smart though, he can take care of himself..."

"You're a very good huntress, this is great zebra."
Giving the cub a fond smile, she answered. "Why thank you, Kivuli. Though, I have to admit, my skills aren't that good."

Nala lifted her head and sniffed the air, just as a small raindrop landed on her nose. Licking the little pool of water off she turned to head back inside, no point trying to get into mischief when there would soon be a den full of lionesses to inform her mother of any trouble making.
Trotting back inside Nala enjoyed the feel of the cold rock beneath her paws. With the sun being blocked out by the approaching clouds the stones managed to keep their pleasant temperature.
Just far enough in that the rain wouldnt drench her, Nala sat down, she loved to watch the thunder rolling over the plains and the clouds making their journey through the dark sky.

The black pelt of Montsho the leopard slunk in the shadows of the Pridelands, a small cub resting peacefully in her jaws. Food would have to wait, the little one was weak, but they were both tired and so the full grown cat came upon some nice high grass where they could sleep. She rested the tiny lioness beside her near her chest, andplaced an arm beside her to ensure the cub's safety.

((Finally Gaia decides to work for me so I can RP again!))
Kiyowe sat under a tree, watching the gray clouds in the sky. Small droplets of rain water occassionally slipped past the leaves to drizzle onto her dark brown pelt, but she didn't care. She liked the rain. A drop of water fell right between her eyes, and she blinked in surprise almost automatically. Shaking her head, she stood up and left the shelter of the tree.
Padding through the tall grass, Kiyowe looked around, pale violet eyes searching for traces of one that looked like her. It's been a while since she had seen Sukutu. Few liked the rain as she did, and even fewer enioyed being out in the rain. Sukutu was one of the few that would be out in the rain with her. She hoped that she could find him soon, before the rain ended. Or at least, someone to play with. It was lonely playing in the rain by herself.

*A deafening clap of thunder suddenly roars across the heavens. Simba's eyes snap open, sucking in his breath in shock and fear. Rudely awakened by the roaring thunder, Simba's senses and body coordination are still disoriented. Shaking his head to clear the fuzziness he feels away, Simba flinches and covers his ears tightly with his paws as yet another piercing thunder clap reverberates through the earth.* ~mommy...momm..~ *Before Simba can finish calling for his mother, brilliant streaks of lightning slashes across the thick blanket of rain, dancing across the sky in an intricate dance. At times, the lightning becomes so bright that it lights up the cave, casting eerie shadows of the lions and lionesses against the cavern wall. Simba's little eyes grow wide in wonder at the awesome display of nature. Without warning, a sudden gust of wind howls into the cave, sending Simba back against her mother's embrace, shivering. Soon after, Simba forgets about the cold wind and slowly crawls forward again to witness the storm's fury. An abrupt bolt of lighting strikes at a rock near the cave mouth, sending pebbles flying and sizzling up the air around it. Simba's mouth drops at the sight and touch of such power, and even though he is still very much afraid, he determinely decides to stay awake and watch despite the cold and fear he feels. Unknown to him, at that moment, the seed of a courageous lion who will face extreme trials and triumphant through them is growing.

Azizi rolled onto her back, stretching her paws..A butterfly fluttered by,and landed on a rock beside her..slowly,she adjusted herself to a stalking pose..body lowered to the ground, head kept low...her coat blended perfently with the sahara brown ground, making her a good hunter when she's big enough to join the pack.. she crawled towards the insect,slowly..she waited for a perfect timing to strike.. lurking.....stalking....

-The large lion gently lapped at the water at the watering hole.. despite the fact that the storm had left a good amount of water just about anywhere about. Streching his limbs lightly he knew why he'd made the trip.. The watering hole was the perfect place to pick up information.. to run into other and check up on how everyone was. Walking a few steps down the water's edge, he gazed upon a few zebra on the other side, before setting back at his drinking.-

Montsho looked around herself, hoping not to have to wonder too far from where the cub lay to find a small bit of meat. Seeing and smelling nothing in the area she took a few steps forward into the tall grass, memorizing how far each step took her. After continuing, with belly to the ground, a few feet into the grass the noticed a movement to her right and swung a clawed paw at it. She pulled it make to find a small bird of some sort. Echk, this wouldn't be a very satisfying meal for herself but it was food, She proceeded to turn around and fall her tail back to the cub, who had woken up and just began sniffing about herself, not moving from where she lay.
Montsho cut where meet there was and began the delicate task of chewing each bit before presenting it to the cub, who ate it slowly and with some repulsion. After it seemed two bites the cub refused any more and the leopard simply decided to leave the remains, and gathered up the cub in her jaws, heading toward the nearest stream or watering hole of some sort.
