Bob_Henry "So... it's not just a story," she whispered. Celiene told her about a traveler named Alder from a place called Denduron; her father had mentioned both those names. "I... I guess, my father was a Traveler too." Pete snorted "You guess? This wasn't just a made up story, Kira. Halla is real. Your father was out their and experienced it. You read his words, and you still don't beleive?" "What am I supposed to do?" Kira shot back. "Beleive everything I read on a whim?" She showed Celiene her father's ring. "This belonged to my father. IF everything you say is true, and the journals I just read tonight were true too, then... he was a Traveler, the Traveler from Third Earth, which is where you are now, I suppose. I guess... if you're going to stay, you should probably change into clothes other than... furs." She dug through a pile of clothes, and selected a pair of jeans and a tee-shirt, and held them out to Celiene. "At least," Celiene said uncomfortabley, showing the first signs of shiftyness. "That's what Father told me..." she shook her head, ridding herself of the ludicris (sp?sry) idea that her father would ever lie to her; not to mention in his dying words to her. After the flume ride, as well, Celiene was finding it harder and harder not to believe. Now that Kira had the same kind of ring as well... Celiene held up her hand as well to show the ring that was placed delicately on her ring finger on her left hand. Yup. They were the same; with the ten strange symbols masterly engraved on the band of the ring and the gray stone in the middle, which was shining brightly at the moment, what with them being so close to the flume.
Celiene looked oddly at the clothes Kira held out. They were similar to what Kira was wearing, and she had to trust her that they were the right clothes for this territory. She remembered Alder telling her that on other territories, almost no one wore furs. "Er," she said, taking the clothes awkwardly. "Thanks..."

Tecnia "At least," Celiene said uncomfortabley, showing the first signs of shiftyness. She remembered Alder telling her that on other territories, almost no one wore furs. "Er," she said, taking the clothes awkwardly. "Thanks..." "We'll wait outside while you go put them on. I'll call Grandma, and you can come crash... I mean, stay, at my house." At Celiene's puzzled glances, she grabbed the jeans and showed her how the button and zipper worked. She didn't know if they had those on... Denduron. "The tag on the inside of the shirt goes in back. We'll be oustide, unless you need... help?"

"I'll be fine," Celiene said, only slightly offended. Kira made her seem dumb. But she did have to take it into consideration, this was a whole new world...she sighed. Celiene waited until Kira and her uncle left the small and sad excuse for a room, and quickly dressed. It was much different than Denduron clothes, that was for sure. She was surprised they even had buttons on this new Territory, and marveled when her shoes tied themselves. When Celiene came out, she was wearing a surprisingly some-what fitting blue t-shirt and jeans, which she tied with a cord, not understanding the concept of a belt. She was rather sad when it came time to take off her hat. It was her favorite, and it held so many memories, what with whacking Caesar with it so many times. With a small sigh, she hugged her hat, felt like a dork, and delicatly lied it on top of her heap of furs. She smiled at it's neatness, felt like a dork again, and stepped out.

Wynter leaned against the fence casually as the bicycler came nearer. She looked to him and saw that it was an adult . . . even worse. She put her head down and acted as if she were checking her nails or something. The bicycler got closer and when he was next to her he stopped and got off his bike. Wynter cringed and tried to act like she didn’t see him.
“Hey,” the man said, “You’re not supposed to be here.”
Wynter looked up and put a hand behind her head, “Yeah, we were just leaving, right guys?”
The man looked to Auburn then Hexez. He jumped back and stared, “Dear God-almighty! What were you kid’s doing?” he shouted, “Is that blood?!”
“Ah, no!” Wynter said hurriedly, “That’s just . . . uh, pomegranate juice! You see we were practicing a play and, uh, my friend here,” She said pointing to Hexez, “He’s a, uh, extra terrestrial, hence the, uh, costume. He’s the earthling,” She pointed to Auburn, “And I’m the time traveler!”
The man gave her a questioning look but seemed content with her story. He mounted his bike and said, “You kids better get out of here before the cops come, you all can be caught trespassing.” And he rode away. As soon as he was out of sight Wynter let out a long sigh of relief. She looked to Hexez and Auburn shaking her head.
“You two better be glad I’m a good liar!”

Kira smiled as Celiene exited the flume. She had waited for her against the wall. "Press against the wall," she warned, and gestured for her to follow as she scooted around the corner and up the stairs. She pulled out a small beeper and swiftly typed in her grandmother's number. She picked up the phone soon.
"Grandma? Is it alright if I have a friend stay over? Thanks! Pete'll bring us home, it should be around half an hour. Great, bye!"
She smiled at Celiene as she hung up... then gasped as she noticed the cord tied around her waist. "Um... what's that?"

Blaise shrugged and scratched her head, “Ah, sorry. Never was good with names.” She paused and thought about the shirt situation, “Uh, yeah. Ditch the shirt. I have no idea what we are going to do about the rest of you. We’re going to have to find you some Second Earth clothes.” She glanced down at her own apparel and her injured arm, “And me as well.”
She turned to Auburn and was about to ask him if they could get some clothes but decided to address another issue first.
“Aye, Auburn. You okay? You’re not looking too hot.”

Celiene watched curiously as Kira talked through the small, metal object. When she hung up, Celiene was surprised she made such a big deal about the cord. "Just a cord," she said simply.

"Um... we don't wear... cords, on Third Earth. Do the pants not fit? Here..." She took off her belt and handed it to Celiene. She was only wearing it at her grandma's insitance, the jeans she wore fit her fine.

((Sorry about being gone for a long time. Lets just say homecoming is a confusing time... especially getting turned down the first two times. Well also went to LA County Fair and did the parade for La Verne day thing, enough of that. I was busy, easy as that. Well, I'll be back, but bear with me, I'm having a tough week))
"Yeah, I'm just great. I feel like a million bucks!" he said with an unusual enthusiasm. He had a taste of adventure, and wanted more.
"But, I almost forgot my promise..." Auburn first went up to Hezex and looked up at him. He grabbed the sides of his head and kissed him on the lips. It was short and sweet. He then let go of him and then walked over to Wynter and did the same. He smiled and stepped back from them.
"Well, I better get you guys some clothes from Earth... or whatever number it is". He motioned for them to follow and started to walk to his house. He was beaten up, felt sore in a lot of places, and had just witnessed something unbelievable, but it was better to take it as nothing for now. He needed to bring that up later though. Sometimes being ignorant was good.

She was only wearing it at her grandma's insitance, the jeans she wore fit her fine. Celiene shrugged. Now she felt truely mentally challenged, the way she was treated on the new Territory. With a small sigh under her breath, she took the belt Kira was holding out for her and put it on, surprised how complex it was. Wouldn't it be easier to just tie it? Whatever... "So where are we going to go?" Celiene asked.

"I guess Pete is going to drive us to my grandma's, and... well, I'm not sure from there. Tomorrow I could give you a tour of the city, and fill you in a bit about.. well, Third Earth, I guess. Sound good?" She smiled. What else could she do? She, well, they, were both new to this Traveler thing.

Wynter was quite taken aback that Auburn had just kissed Hezex.
“Thought you were just kidding when you said—“ she was interrupted by Auburn who then kissed her. She stood and stared as he backed away and asked them to follow. She shook her head. It was better not to say anything. The sooner they could get some Second Earth clothes the better.
She followed obediently but stayed a little behind next to Hezex.
“So,” she said, “You’re from Cloral, aren’t you? How did you know how to get here? More importantly, how did you find the flume?”
