"And neither was I.." Aysel said in a small voice, biting her lip. "I lost my temper...and he lost his in turn. Had I been in his place, with his power.." she trailed off guiltily, flexing her hands gently, and shrugged. "I don't blame him, Antigone. It was my own fault for confronting him. I am but a stage Zero...who was I to think that I had any right to tell a Three what to do?" The truth was, Aysel could see herself in Gregor. Where he hid himself behind grandeur and burning passion, she hid herself behind indifference and icy distance. Both feared the darkness within them...and both of them were nearly obsessed with the one they adored above all else. But he is less fortunate than I.. she thought, her eyes moving gratefully over the familiar form of her love, for she is with me...while he is all alone.

"Being Transcended doesn't mean you can loose all sense of decency. He attacked you. And that, no matter how you spin it, is wrong. And I just... I don't like it. I don't agree with it. And I hate that I wasn't able to be there with you. I just... I'm sorry, Aysel. I'm so sorry. But- But, I'm here for you now. Alright?"

"Don't apologize..." Aysel begged softly, ignoring the pain in her hands as she wrapped her arms tightly around the girl before her. "What's done is done..and you are here now. That's all that matters..." She took a deep breath, then forced herself to smile. "We should probably go in now...come with me?" she asked, although Antigone had already said that she would. "I'm..scared."

"You don't need to ask, my darling." Antigone hooked an arm around the other's thin waist, holding her gingerly. "You needn't be afraid. I'm here. I'll protect you." As I will every other time, to make up for not being there for you, she added silently, in something of a vow.

"Thank you.." Aysel murmured, pressing a quick kiss to Anti's cheek. Here was the one and only person she would ever consider entrusting herself to. If anybody could make her feel safe, it was her. I love you, she thought, but the words stuck in her throat. Even now, she feared rejection. "Thank you, Anti.." she repeated, moving forward towards the door- slowly, though, so that she could hopefully keep Anti's arm around her.

Antigone sent Aysel one of her trademark grins, hugging her a little closer as they walked into the Infirmary. "No problem, Aysel, my dear. No problem at all. You don't need to thank me, either. Love you," she whispered, pressing a light kiss to the Melancholy's ear. "I'll never leave you alone again. After all- look what happened," she teased lightly.

A thrill went through Aysel at both Antigone's profession of love, and at the gentle kiss to her ear.Spirits above.. she thought, feeling herself flush just a bit, How I adore you, Antigone.. However, what she said was "I can't say that I'm complaining.." here she chuckled softly, then went on. "However, you must know that I'm not as fragile as you make me out to be. They're only burns, Antigone."

"Oh, right. Only burns. Because those can't become infected, or can look deceptively simple, or anything like that. It's something worth worrying about. You're something worth worrying about, alright? So let me fret a little bit. It'll make me feel better, at least."

"Anything for you.." Aysel replied cheekily, though she was mostly serious. "But don't worry too much over me...as nice as such fuss is-" and it was rather nice, she thought, pausing, "-it's fairly unneeded." But even with such lighthearted words, Aysel felt fear thread its way into her as coolness in her veins. She subconciously shifted closed to Antigone, brushing her shoulder against hers. The touch, no matter how small, was comforting.

The Sanguine smiled at her lower, toying with a lock of her violet-colored hair as they waited for someone to come along that could help Aysel. "I'll try to contain my worry then, if you feel that way," she said in response to the Melancholy's words, her gaze once again going to her lover's gorgeous face. "But I will still worry, so it's useless to argue with me on that point."

Tryna made her way into the Infirmary wiping her sooty hands off on the pale of her shorts. She grinned through a sooty smile at the two while making her way to the silver basin along one wall . As she washed her hands she called out to the two girls. "Anything I can help you with, ladies?"

Aysel jumped at the appearance of the Professora, smiling sheepishly and holding out her hands for examination. "I need something for these burns, Professora...it makes it difficult to write, and that's hindering my studies. Do you have a salve of some sort that I could use?" no mention of how she got the burns..there was no need to, after such drama with the cause himself. She didn't want to reopen any wounds....pardon the expression.

Tryna's face darkened by shades as she inspected Aysel's hands. But the diminuitive Professora did not mention the origin of the burns either. She smiled in a mix of appology and uplifting cheer. "They'll be right as night in a jiffy, Sweetums!" Tryna piped warmly. She motioned for aysel to have a seat and began pulling supplies from the medicine cabinets. "Alriiight..." Tryna murmured as she sorted through the pile of jars and bottles and rolls of gauze in her arms. "First we'll rub a salve on that...And while you're doing that, I'll mix up some Genista, Inula and Allamanda." Tryna opened up a glass jar with a strident smelling gel inside and placed it next to Aysel to access.

Torrid pushed the door to the infirmary open, taking a look around for Euphrasia. He remembered the last time he was here, sick with a poison nut; his cheeks flushed a little at the memory. He hoped she wouldn't make a big fuss, for that would surely further worry his fellows.

"Euphrasia?" He called out quietly.

Euphrasia Bustled out from behind her curtain, long pink hair flouncing. She floated over to Torrid with a beaming smile, until she caugfht sight of his hands. Then she practically flew at him, her face both distraught and reprimanding. In a scolding motherly, tone, she shrilled, "Torrid! What have you done now?!"
