"I don't want to kill you. I j-just don't you k-killing me!" he mumbled."But I won't make it alone, I can't even remember my own words." he heaved a great sigh and sat back down, still facing the obvious necromancer."I don't have a partner, or even a mentor to teach me. I won't last long in the world without someone to back me up. It's not easy is it?" he was slightly,(very slightly) more comfortable around this particular necromancer. He didn't seem to be the same sadistic mage that wants to kill people and hurt people for the fun of it, like alot of others were."Maybe we could help each other out. I can help you, you can me....in more ways than one. Whadya say?" he was ready this time, in case this guy tried to attack him.~It's Airiakuran. It's Airiakuran.~ he kept repeating in his mind.

::Winter was a sad season and a happy season for Jaunus. The cold made it difficult for him to fully use his Geomancer powers (though they were twice as effective being frozen). Today was an odd day for him. He felt very lonely today. The Cryomancer in him was screaming for violent release but he was able to keep it at a low, flash freezing the sides of buildings as he walked by. Boredom seemed to be the theme of his last few days.::
"Wonder if there will be anything interesting!"
::He yelled provokingly. He stood there in silence the crikets going crazy inside of his mind. He sighed and punched a building leaving a frozen fist there::

((Last I checked, NY was never silent. xD ))
Apple shivered and pulled his scarf furthur up his face. It was so hard for him to endure the winter winds and chills... He jumped as a man in front of him punched a building, leaving quite a noticeable hole. Eyes wide, he stared up at the man. What kind of person could punch such a hole without even showing any signs of feeling it?! He twisted a finger through curly brown locks - a nervous tendency he had picked up from one of his brothers - and then, finally getting over his nerves, asked, "Uhm... did... didn't that hurt...?"

((There is a deeper meaning to why ts silent to him but ill get into that later))
::Jaunus brightened up suddenly as he saw this little 'puff' of a human shivering in the cold. The cars were flying by with calous disregard for the people who would take the chance to frogger it all the way across the street. Jaunus smiled and lowered his eyes showing glints of orange::
"Oh of course not angel puff. I was always told i had knuckles of steel. Well...maybe not told...more like gurgled."
::Jaunus reached out and held Apple close to him smiling::
"Heh you look cold Angel Puff. Whats a guy like you walking these cold lonesome streets?" ((ok i may stop using gradient......it add to many spaces burning_eyes ))

Apple's dark eyes widened. Deffinately NOT normal. At all. "...'Angel Puff'?!" he asked incredulously. Exactly what was this guy - crazy?! He was indeed cold, but not nearly cold enough to allow a complete stranger to hit on him. He tried to push away from the other, but his efforts were in vain. After all, the man was quite strong. "I'm... I'm... not an... angel... or... a puff," he huffed as he continued to try and distance himself from the other.

"I'm attempting to fend it off for as long as I can," Skyy responded. Though he may claim it felt like he was dying, in truth, he wasn't even close to such a state. He blinked in surprise as the paramedics began to strip him of his jacket, and as Kalen had done, feel for broken bones. He winced as pressure was once more added to the previously healed spot. Though there was no longer a broken bone, the forming bruise was as uncomfortable as ever.
"Hey, watch it!" he hissed, sneering up at the others for their unannounced invasion of his body. "Just stop touching me, and let someone that's not in a moving vehicle do the checking, alright?" He knew they were only trying to help, but he felt vulnerable enough as it was. Such a feeling always caused him to be slightly irritable. He considered himself lucky it was such a relatively short drive to the hospital. Once they were there, they unloaded Skyy and once more took Kalen by the arm to rather needlessly guide him through the doors.

Kalen kept his smile and nodded with the positive response. He watched the paramedics move over Skyy with concerned eyes. The other's defensive response surprised him, especially since he had cooperated with the redhead so willingly. Kalen felt a surge of guilt once more for his cab driver's actions. He was about to inform the paramedics what he'd sensed the other broke, but the doors of the back burst open and he was unloaded, pulled by one of the medics. "Stop it! I can get out myself!" he fought. However the moment he jumped down from the ambulance he felt it in his knee. Crrack!
Kalen wanted to stop and check it, but time didn't allow. Their escorts were more concerned with getting them through the doors to the E.R.. The teen hobbled, limping and gritting his teeth rigidly through the door. Inside, he was plopped in a wheelchair and wheeled down the hall, behind Skyy. That is, until they were separated. Kalen was wheeled one room, and the last he saw of the other was two E.R. doctors urgently inspecting him.
Kalen waited anxiously in his room for an attending doctor to visit him. He hated this... he could heal himself! But, alas, what would anyone think? He just walked away from a car accident without a single bump or bruise? It wouldn't look right. Kalen pulled off his jacket and pushed up his turtleneck's sleeve. He was surprised to find a patches of deep bruising all up his arm.

"Like you could help me," he said, standing up. "Heck, I can't even kill a half-dead person. You atleast have potential. I was trained for 6 years straight, and look how bad at necromancy I am. I'm no use in this world." Cameron walked into the fog. "You don't want me. Just continue your life and forget about me. Atleast when I'm back in the earth, I'll finaly be usefull." He walked off.

Leif meandered lazily down the long stretch of fifth ave, museum mile, letting his hand slap along the iron fence that surrounded Central park. He could often be found wandering like this at night, even though the chill in winter got deeper into his bones that it did with most people. His feral pale green eyes wandered over the snow covered ground, searching as though they would rouse a responding green from under the shining crystals.
A sigh escaped through his nose, sending a cloud of vaporous breath through the air. Seasonal depression was hitting him hard, especially because of the area. The thin sliver of sky between the buildings often wasn't enough for him. During the day he'd taken to climbing buildings he didn't belong on just to feel the sun's rays.
((*has no idea what time of day it is*))

Tilting his head back while being carried through the door, Skyy saw Kalen being pulled in after him. He couldn't help but note that look of discomfort etched on his features. He would have once more asked on his well-being, but the paramedics didn't slow down for even a moment. They were either far too over-excited with their job or were for some reason believed that Kalen and himself were in a life-or-death situation. A car-accident was of course a serious happening, but neither of the boys were pouring gallons of blood by the minute. Skyy really didn't see it necessary to be freaking out.
Being stripped of his shirt and pants, now left uncomfortably in his boxers, he was given a full-body X-Ray before having the rest of him examined. He hardly put in a whole sentence the entire time besides the occasional protest. The doctors seemed appalled by the fact that Skyy's hair was caked with blood, but there was, indeed, no sign of the causing wound. And such a harsh bruise on the stomach would surely have caused a broken bone or two. This, of course, led them to wanting to keep him for the night for 'studies' much to his dislike.
As his ankle was wrapped in a light cast for the sprain, he sighed. Where had Kalen been taken off to? Now that he thought about it there was something peculiar about that boy. He seemed to hurt less when he was around him, seemed to feel much warmer with his hands compared to the doctor's cold digits. Shaking his head, he decided he must have gotten his head a bit more jostled than he thought.

(Well.. Levvy, you might've just set the time to evening xD)
Meanwhile, Kalen's doctor had arrived to examine him. He laid the red-haired boy on the hospital bed and much to the teen's dismay instructed him to remove his shirt. The bruising's extent was only that one arm, luckily. It had been smashed against the door in the crash. X-rays showed no injury to bone. However, upon the inspection of Kalen's knee, he hadn't been so lucky.
"It appears you broke off a small part of your patella and some ligaments are strained," the doctor announced, "We'd like to keep you through the night to do some reflex tests on you though. And we'll have to cast it." He then departed the room.
Kalen sat back up and pulled his turtleneck back over his head and pushed his arms through the sleeves. "Damn it," he swore under his breath, wincing horribly as he shifted his knee gingerly. A nurse arrived back in the room to help him into his wheelchair. He'd have to be moved to the overnight care unit.

As Skyy's own team of doctor's left him in one of the over-night rooms to rest so they could discuss his 'conditions', he was given a pair of crutches that looked far too small for him to use. He had been told that after recooperating, he would have to fill out some information. He absolutely hated filling out papers. It seemed that everything nowadays had to be in writing.
The dark-haired boy laid back on the less than comfortable hospital mattress, spotting the remote to the TV on the far end of the room. He cursed his tremendously bad luck this day. If only he would pay more attention to what was going on around him then he might not be laying in this ill-furnished room with a battered body.
It wasn't an awfully long time until he heard a set of wheels being rolled down the hallway. His eyes followed the noise to his open doorway to see Kalen being pushed in a wheelchair past his room. Skyy opened his mouth to say something, but immediatly shut it a second later. What was he going to say? 'Hey, it's you again.' or 'Looks like you did have some injuries afterall, huh?'
Maybe it was best to just keep quiet. He doubted Kalen was exactly looking for the company of the one that caused him to be here for a simple lack of attentiveness.

Kalen didn't notice Skyy's room among the hustle and bustle of the busy rooms. However, he was far from not wanting to see the boy who his cab driver hit. The only problem was that he didn't know the other's name. As a result, he was having a very difficult time describing the other boy to his attending nurse.
"He was in the accident with me. Yeah, he was the one who got hit. What's he look like? Umm... well, he's taller than me. Dark hair. Really dark eyes. He's kind of... well, yeah. He's, um, good-looking. Are we... what? I beg your pardon! I don't even know his name! Yes, please do go look into it," he muttered, still aghast from the nurse's blunt questioning. What in heaven's name would make that crazy lady think he and... and what's-his-name were together? But at the very least, the nurse said she'd go look into it.
Nurse Linda indeed was looking into it. She made rounds to all the patients on the floor until she finally came upon Skyy's room. She made a small knock on the doorframe before entering with his chart. "How are you feeling?"
