Chaos didn't answer now. His eyes said it all. They were swirling golden and sending out a deadly aura of pure power. They were telling her to leave. Now he slowly began to approach his weapons out in front of him as he walked...seemingly slowly but as she kept her eyes on him there began to be afterimages galore with just his walk. No noise came from his wooden sandals and there seemed to be animosity filling the room full. Chaos kept moving toward her slowly watching her and waiting for her to move...she wanted an example...well she would get one...

Yumi flinched as the man started moving towards her. Most of the pain in her legs had gone away, but still she was a bit unsure if it would still affect her movements. Finally he's coming at me, now let's see what this kids got. She lifted up her katana and crossed them both infront of her. Her left foot moved slightly backwards. Yumi didn't really want to be here any longer, this had all been taking too long, soon things might start going seriously wrong. She concentrated on the man.

His eyes suddenly flashed and he was running...no walking...wait... he was on the ceiling?...something was happening. Flashing...multiple images...suddenly everything cleared and his katana was slicing toward her neck quickly. Yet he was enough away to be able to defend himself and get out of the way if necessary...but he was ready to kill her...it was obvious...whatever had just happened had blinded her from seeing what he was doing...it blinded her from what he wished her not to see...

Yumi really tried to concentrate on the moving boy, but it turned out to be really hard. Then, she saw the katana coming towards her. She lifted up her right katana slightly so that it would block the sword. Then she charged forwards, defending with the right katana and using the other katana to block.

Chaos sweeped his other arm under his katana wielding arm and blocked her left katana out and aimed a kick at her stomach, almost, if not fully, impossible to avoid since she was charging at him. He would kick her up and back into the wall behind her. He would then draw his blades back to a crossed position and watch her carefully...his eyes showing he knows fully well what he's doing...shown in his actions as well.

The kick pushed her back and she hit the wall. Each hit she took woke her up more and more, her senses sharpened, she could feel every inch of her body, even her thoughts started to move faster. But still, she wasn't yet in the state of trance she had experienced a few years ago, she could still see it all clearly in front of her and this made her even more aware that the fight had only yet begun.

Yumi stepped forwards again, now her stance had changed. There seemed to be something that was different about her now. Then she once again charged towards the man, but now you could not hear her moving, the only thing you could hear was the low rustling of the yukata. However a quiet whistling stopped her. She looked at the window then at the boy, the same sound could be heard again. "Right..." Yumi glanced at the boy once more.

A few seconds later Yumi had disappeared through the window.

Chaos slowly turned and walked to the window and closed it slowly not even looking outside for her. His eyes were slowly returning to their normal grey color. She was right when she thought that the fight was long from over. He looked out at the just waking sun and walked back to the closet and pulled the men out. They were starting to wake up when he set them all back into place. They yawned and stretched a bit. Chaos stood with his arms in his yukata when he spoke. "My job of protection for tonight is over...I wish you good health..." He turned and sweeped from the room almost without a sound and left the manor without a person being alerted and the guards not even noticing. He walked out onto the street and made his way down it toward the edge of town where a messenger would be delivering his next job...or maybe a message of rest, but he doubted it. He pulled his straw hat a little lower over his eyes and moved slowly. He thought about the fight and smiled knowing that the girl started off fighting not to lose and right before she left she was going to fight to win...He on the other hand had been fighting to protect the whole time...not his normal style but necessary in that case...next time they met she may not be as lucky...

The whole day Yumi was upset, why did they stop her? This was not what usually happened, in fact it had never happened before. This was also the first mission she hadn't actually had to kill anyone either.

When she had heard the whistling, she had quickly moved away from the house. A few hours later a man had come up to her and said that the mission was aborted and given her a check with the agreed money. But this wasn't enough, who was the boy protecting Yamanaka? That boy was certainly not one of the usual bodyguards. And why was the mission aborted? Yamanaka must still be as much of a traitor as before. And what was she supposed to do now?

The answer came a few days later. In the shape of a new black yuakta, with the instructions attached to it.

Chaos slowly read over the new mission and nodded slowly tossing it back to the messenger. "Burn it" He turned and began walking toward his next goal. A little town called Edo...he was to go and fight the Shensengumi under the cover of night...they were planning to ambush a council of leaders and he was being sent to stop them and kill them...no longer protecting but killing instead...this was what he was and why he was sent here...He walked slowly it would seem but he moved faster than it looked possible at the pace he was setting for himself...

Yumi silently drank some tea in a tea-shop when she heard some men talking. They weren't discussing loudly, but Yumi happened to sit right in front of them with her back towards them. They all seemed to be rather upset. Earlier Yumi had noticed that they were all carrying swords, they looked like someones bodyguards, although not very good ones. The word that caught Yumis attention in the first place was "Yamanaka". A few minutes later, it had become quite clear to her that he had died. So they got him in the end anyways. This actually made Yumi even more curious about why they had aborted the mission that night. There must've been some good reason to it. A odd tought had recently popped into her mind, what if it was because of that guy she met in the Yamanaka house?

A few more days Yumi spent without actually doing anything special, before she started moving towards a small town a bit outside Sekigahara.

The trip would only take a day or two, depending on how quickly Yumi wanted to move. When it started getting darker, she moved away from the road and found a nice small cliff, that was both hidden from everyone that was walking below it and gave her a slight protection if it would start raining. There she lay down, but this night, she didn't really sleep very deeply. She was constantly on her guard, ready to get up at any second.

Chaos had stopped at the little town for the week to visit 'friends' of his...they were part of Meiji. He got up that morning and slowly tredded from his room past his sleeping friends...fools...He left the house and slowly began his 3-day trip to Edo...He needed to be there by the end of the week so he would do so...He was just exiting the very small city when Yumi was entering it and may have been spotted leaving...possibly anyways...

The next morning Yumi woke up with a serious headache. When she continued walking, she soon realized that she had been only a few minutes away from the town, which meant she had been sleeping on that cold hard rock in vain. Now all this really made her feel a bit down. When entering the town, she too late discovered that there really wasn't much life in it, actually no life at all. This meant she would have to hide the whole time she was in there, since people living in small towns like this one were usually 10 times as curious as those living in bigger cities. Yumi had planned on spending the day looking around in the town, that she hadn't ever visited before, but her bad start to the day made her change her plans. She headed directly towards the meeting place, an old house.

Chaos walked slowly toward Edo as the day slowly progressed. He of course didn't make it but would within two more days. He stopped under a tree for some protection from any rain. His grey eyes travesed the landscape as if daring someone to try and attack him. Chaos was a force that many feared to know as Hitokiri. He took the name and if someone asked for a name that is what he gave...unless it was one of his own in which he gave them the name Himura Chaos...He slowly rested under the tree as the sun slowly fell under the horizon and the stars peered wearily from their hiding places.

((Wonder where the other members are... it'll get quite boring with only two Rping sweatdrop ))

While Yumi was standing in front of the small gate, it started raining. First slowly and silently, but gradually faster and harder. In the end it poured down. Yumi just stood there, with her face up towards the sky, enjoying the waterdrops hitting her face.

There was a descrete cough and Yumi woke up again. A young man opened the rusty little gate and showed her into the house. He behaved extremely politely, as if he was escorting a royalty, this amused Yumi. When she stepped into the room she wasn't in such a bad mood anymore. Inside, one single big man was sitting with his back towards Yumi in front of a lit candle. "Welcome," a dark voice, obviously belonging to the man, who was the only person currently in the room. Yumi answered politely. The man turned around, "Now let's see what you've got." he suddenly stood up and charged towards Yumi.

A few hours later Yumi woke up and as she was about to sit up, there was a terrible pain in her stomach. "Just lay down and relax," this time the voice belonged to the same young man she had met at the gate. Yumi did as she was told and as her head touched the pillow she fell asleep again.
