-hmm- this is wierd...

At first I was straight (somewhere between 0-12), because that was the "way of life" and 90%(or something) of the worlds population are straight so there wasn't a big chanse that you would be bi or gay...

And then I started to realise that maybe I was bi because I was kinda attracted to other guys but I still had that "fact" from before that I was straight...
And the percent changed as I grew older:
Guys(50%)Girls(50%) --> 70% 30% --> 90% 10%

But then it hit me...
When I was out on a party with some friends and I met this wonderful girl that I really liked, but I wasn't physically attracted to her, I wanted to be but I wasn't... crying

Then I realised I was gay...

Thats my lifes story.... sweatdrop
yay!!! *claps*

To put in something on the topic edgewise...

I really don't know what I am. I've always considered myself straight. I fervantly considered myself straight even when I became a slave and fooled around with other female slaves. In fact, I've had a girlfriend and it was a pleasant experience for the most part, except she moved a lot faster than I wanted to, so that's what ended us. During that time, everyone called me bi...However, recently I'm not so sure. I love guys. I find girls pretty and beautiful, in a sexy I want to be like them, kind of way...guys I look at in a Oh, I'd like to be with him isn't he sexy/sweet/ etc. etc.

However, I'd fool around with a girl, and doing so is a major turn on(even more so if a guy was there too). I'm not repulsed by the fact. It's not my first choice, but it's an open option. So, I guess I prefer guys...but girls are nice, though I don't look at them in the same was as guys. heh... sweatdrop If that makes any sense.

It is amazing to see how many people knew they were bi nearly their entire lives. No, I am not mocking, I am simply observing.

On the other hand, I never thought myself anything other than straight until last year when I began flirting with some of my female friends on line. My RL relationships, such as they were, had all been with males. However, this past summer, I met one of my on line friends IRL. She and I hit it off, and I realized that I am much happier with her, even though there is about 540 miles between us.

To that end, I consider myself a lesbian, not bisexual. I do not really want to have a remotely sexual or romantic relationship with a male ever again.

Well, sometimes it seems people have known all thier lives when they really havent. Me, for instance, looking back I realize I was bi all along. However at the time when I would catch myself staring at another girls breasts, I would tell myself it was because I was jealous and was only looking because I wish that I looked like that, ect.

0 - exclusively heterosexual
1 - predominantly heterosexual, incidentally homoexual
2 - predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3 - equally heterosexual and homosexual
4 - predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
5 - predominantly homosexual, incidentally heterosexual
6 - exclusively homosexual

I hate the term bi. so undefined. I am a kinsey 5. When one says the word bi, most assume you like each sex equally. I CERTAINLY do not! I barely like the opposite sex, but I still do so I'm technically bi, but again... assumtions...

sorry I'm gonna have a small rant about that...not at you honey, cause I don't know you..but about the statment.
THERE IS NO "HALVES"!! The kinsey scale has cut them down small enough that there is no halves. And even if you are super-straight or super-gay... there is no negatives and there is nothing above 7! And to people who are like..."what about asexuals" very few people are asexual, so most likly they are on the scale, but aren't intrested in either one AT THIS TIME. If they are a asexual, then they simply state they have no kinsey. Okay...over...
