Ra, who had been glancing out at the blurred landscape looked down at her invitation, to see what she was talking about. Being face to face with her lace bra was not quite what he was expecting. His eyes lingered for a little longer than he would want them to before he turned away as she did. "No," He smirked jokingly as he looked back out into the driving rain. "That would have been minus the bra." Laughing he braced himself for the slap that was about to follow.

Obie peeled her shirt away from her skin so that it would not cling and her underwear be quite so obvious.
"Pervert," she smirked and glanced back at him again. "It's always the quiet ones." She gave her head a bit of a mock disappointed shake, then turned slightly to look at the building they had sought shelter in front of.
"Hmm... my Japanese is not so good yet. Can you read the kanji?" she asked him, half hoping that maybe it was a store of some kind where she might be able to buy something to cover up with.

Ra looked at the script and narrowed his eyes. "Hmm, it says it is a hotel." He said eyeing the bright posters and trying to make the pictures and the script out. "But um, I'm not sure what kind of hotel. They seem to do rooms by the hour."
He shrugged and turned back to her. "So it's probably dodgy. But um, I suppose they would have yukata and hairdryers."

Obie watched him as he scanned the script and sighed at first when he said that it was a hotel. So much for that then. She glanced back at the building then smirked at his assumption about it.
"Well... dodgy or not, the possiblity of dry clothes and hairdryers is enough temptation for me to go in and at least find out," she smirked and slipped the door open to step inside with or without him.

Ra looked around and then back at the poster. He wasn't sure he wanted to give money to fund the more grungy side of japanese society. However, he couldn't leave Obie alone in such a place and standing around outside was just silly.
With a sigh he followed her inside and glanced around at the rather normal looking decor.

Obie managed to get them a room and took the key from the clerk after handing over some yen for the first hour. Looking over at Ra, she smiled at him and led the way to the room. Unlocking the door, she walked into the small room and looked around.
"So far so good, right?" she asked, glancing over her shoulder at him as she went to the small bathroom to see if they had a hairdryer or not.

Ra followed her down the hallway and into the room. "It looks normal." He said as he glanced idly around the room. "Well, except for the ten channels of porn." He gave a small laugh and spotted the yukata lying on the bed. "They have stuff we can wear to dry off a bit. Not sure how much stuff is going to dry out in here. Unless we could turn up the air con or something."
He stood in the middle of the room and glanced in the direction that Obie had gone. "Do they have towels at least?"

"No dryers," she said a bit wistfully as she emerged with a small stack of towels in hand. She walked over to the bed and dropped them onto it with a small smile. Spying the yukata, she picked one up and a towel.
"I'll change in the bathroom. You can change in here," she said, slipping back into the bathroom and shutting the door behind her. Grimacing, she peeled her cardboard jeans off of her legs, then slipped her drenched shirt off. She debated for half a second whether to take her bra off as well, then just did it, tossing it down on top of her other wet clothes. Drying herself off, she slipped the yukata on and snuggled into it a little. It felt so warm compared to her wet clothes.
"Are you decent?" she called through the door as she rubbed the towel over her hair.

Ra stripped off his denim shorts and t-shirt, feeling rather exposed as he stood in his underwear. sighing again he took the yukata and slipped it on. Thankfully it fitted him, just, though it left the V at the top of his chest exposed along with part of the more serious of his burn scars.
At Obie's voice he jumped and turned back to look at the door. Decent? .. just about. He thought. "Yeah, you can come back in." He said as he picked up his clothes to hang them up somewhere.

Obie picked her clothes up from the floor and looked around for a second. Understanding what Ra meant about needing to turn the AC up, she realized leaving them in the bathroom would not be a good idea. Stepping out into the room, she looked around again and found a place to drape them. She self conciously pulled the yukata tighter around herself, then turned around to face him.
"So... I'm guessing TV is out, unless you're into the witty repertoire of cheesy porn lines," she smirked as she sat down on the bed and leaned back against the headboard, stretching her legs out in front of her. Patting the bed beside her, she reached for the remote, and turned the TV on despite her previous comment.

"Right." He said with a smirk and held the yukata tightly as he manouvered himself onto the bed. "They should have the normal channels." He shrugged and adjusted the impractical robe as a barrage of flesh assulted the screen. "Heh, just what we needed to see this close to dinner." He said looking away and to the tasteless plastic plant in the corner.

Obie glanced over at him and noticed his discomfort immediately. She allowed the current channel to play for a few moments and tilted her head to the side with a bemused expression on her face.
"The things people do to each other," she smirked and finally changed the channel, surfing until she found the safer channels. "You can look now," she smirked and tossed the remote onto his lap, no longer interested in being in charge of surfing. She leaned her head back against the headboard and took a deep breath to let it out slowly.
"Does sex freak you out Ra?" she asked, bluntly watching the random Japanese game show on TV.

Ra looked down at the remote and instantly went red at her question. How could she just ask him something like that? In silence he took the remote in his hand and tossed it back at her. "No." He said shortly looking down at his hands. "I just don't think that was apropriate." He paused for a few moments and looked up at her smirk." Yeah,go on, laugh at me all you want."

Obie watched him out of the corner of her eye, then blinked and turned her head fully towards when he tossed the remote back at her. Looked like she had seriously hit a sore spot. She arched a brow and shifted sit up a little straighter as she looked back at the TV.
"I was just curious Ra. It really had nothing to do with the porn. Not everyone is into that kind of stuff," she said with a small shrug, picking up the remote and flipping through a couple of channels. "Now... was no your honest answer or your male ego induced one?"

Ra took a breath and turned to face her. "Maybe a bit of the second, but mainly, just a random answer." Letting the breath out he looked her in the eyes. "Yes it does, A little. But that is nothing to do with you."
He frowned and turned to sit back against the headboard. "You wouldn't have asked if I hadn't looked away. I looked away because it seemed polite. Not everyone has such a casual view on sex." He said standing and walking over to the bathroom. He paused at the door and turned back to face her. "I think sex is a deeply personal thing. I'm sorry if that seems a bit idyllic, but it was how I was brought up. Things like, this." He said waving to the room and the TV, "make it seem cheap and worthless. I don't like it. Those are my views." He said seriously walking into the bathroom and closing the door behind him.
