[RPG] Hana: Growth

Kage warily looked at the woman as she continued to dig through her bag, seeing her as less and less of a threat to his masters spawn.
"The child issss not mine to trade." He hissed simply in reguards to Sarya.
Elly released Sary as to let her retrive her blankie, in the mean time he was quite able to scoop up the plain box.
"...this smells sorrta like my dad and uncel Aodhand.." He turned it over looking interested, nearly completly forgetting the danger they were in.  

[Quinth]

Sarya comfortingly held Blankie to her nose and inhaled deeply, calming. She glanced at the strange woman and tried to run through a mental list of the possible race she could be, with that pale color and dark, shadowed eyes. The only possible thing she could come up with was a succubus or demon of some sort, so she quickly returned to Kage's side and shuffled as close to Elly as possible.

Meanwhile, the woman had given him a confused look. "Not yours? But.. you have it right there. It's standing next to you! Of course it's yours! Stupid shadow lords trying to trick me!! I won't fall for it, just like Mama said!" She put one hand on hip and pointed an accusing finger at Kage. "If you don't want to trade, just say so, dummy! I'll fight you for it!"

And with that, she took a fighting stance, bare hands fisted, and grinned wickedly.

"Eeep," Sarya added.

".....thiissssss is why I hate Shadow draganessssssss" Kage shook his head, scooping up the children both, Elly with his box and Sarya with her blanket.
He dropped into the shadows made by the moon fully aware that the dragon would follow, but she was a young one so shed be slow.

With a strange Shhhh effect Kage slid up into the now mostly empty vastle, he'd chosen asimple none threatening lookinh shadow, it had like half a feather sticking out of it..
He stood tall and glared as a assassin came charging at him, and blood splattered the room as a shadow lord compainion forced his arm through the shadows chest.
"Massssster?" Kage asked to the other.
"Master is fine, very angery, clothes were ripped." It replied, fading into the floor to contiune fighting.
Kage looked over his shoulder at Lahn. ".....here." He handed Lahn elly and Sarya. "Watch the ssssspawn."  

[Quinth]

The shadow dragoness' jaw dropped to the floor as Kage disappeared through shadow easily. "HEY!" she screeched, reaching out with her senses to find the trail that the shadow lord must have left behind. With a moment's concentration she was in the Shadow Plane and dashing off, sniffing the air and growling deeply.

"Damn, lost it," she cursed, and reappeared in the ballroom, as her senses alerted the shadow dragon to the presence of many shadow lords. She glanced around the room, ignoring the few nobles still fleeing and the mess of fighting, her breath hitching. She ran again.

"Hey, you! Dragon boy!" The woman leapt over a fallen table and landed carefully in her high heels next to a bewildered Peep, who held up a wand in defense before catching a wiff of her.

"Another dragon!?" Peep gasped.

The woman smiled cheerfully, scooting close. "Greetings, kin. I'm Answeri Kagori, shadow dragon, pleasure to meet you!"

Outside his room was a bunch of people who wanted to murder him. They were trying to break the door down which was cracking already.

Inside his room was a creature slipping down into the floor which had presented him with two children. Lahn ignored the door for a moment..

"You are fleeing the castle which I assume is the case, for there are nasty men throughout the place. You've come at a bad time for the men ouside want a life, namely mine."

The door broke open.

If Kage had a visable mouth he surley would have smiled in the moment that the door burst open. With his arms free of the children that he had forced on Lahn he turned to face the false clad black rouges.
"Shadowsssss danccce till light diesss." He hissed as he clawed through the chest of the fist assassin through the door. "Sssun ssstill ssssleepsss faulssse brothersss." The blood ran down his arm, darkening the transparent black shadow that he was made of. "Ssstep forward to ssseee eternal shadowssss."

Elly watched from Lahns arms, box still in his hands. ".....GETTEM GOOD KAGE!!" he cheered. He grinned as he heard dieing mans last screams and blood splattered about the room. He looked to the box, finding a clasp marked with paw prinnt that had a few scratches on the metal, as though one with claws had once pried it open.
Curious he opened the latch and then the box.

((RHYMES heart ))

As soon as the door flung open, Sarya screamed loudly, and as Kage went on a killing spree it turned to loud wailing. Forgetting Elly's sensitive ears, she grabbed onto him as she cried just as the box opened.

Light burst forth from the open box, a bluish color, and suddenly the children, bard, and box disappeared from the room. They reappeared in the dark of a nighttime forest, where the blackened trees were bare of leaves and flowers and the earth was a cold, hard brown. Sarya hiccuped at the sight just before her wailing resumed.

Ellys eyes had gone wide as he started aroudn them, now closed box in his hands still. His tail drooped against Lahns legs.
It was cold, dark, and even the woon that hung in the frozen sky was cut in half so sharp it seem to threaten them. He glanced around at the world devoid of life. Sarya wailing hurt his ears and he was confused. His eyes watered a little. He wanted his partents.
He dropped the box and clung to Lahns arm, being that he was a adult and was holding him.
"W-what happend?! W-who are you! Wheres kage!"

((This is a peep post))

The first word that peep heard was Shadow, then it was followed by Dragon.
"DAD!"
He screamed.

Dirked wheeled on his heels, turning to where he heard his eldest child scream. his shirt was cut open in sever places, chest bleeding from light scrapes that were healign closed on there own. "PEEP!" he returned with a call, tumbeling forward to get to his son who was seemingly under assault.
"Get away from him you wench!" Dirk snarled as he rolled in front of Peep whos wand had fallen down to his side with his arm.

Lahn was watching carefully as all this transpired, feeling just a tad out of the loop. More so when he realized he wasn't in the room anymore. He was vaguely aware of a child asking him something.

"I can understand you confusion young man, but you're cutting of the circulation to my hand."

Elly started at him a moment before angerly shoving back from Lahn. Landing on his feet he recoiled a few steps, glaring angerly at the strange man.
"You did this! This is your fault!" He accused, pointing his one hand. He grabbed at Sarya in her hysterics and puleld her against him, pushing the box into her hands. "Stay away from us!" He threatened.

Lahn sighed. kid's had odd reasoning skills.

"Yes well, have it your way child but it wasn't my fault we're stuck in the wild. I believe it had something to do with your box, young man with the tail of a fox."

He then began to study their surroundings.
