Um...No idea. Honestly I do kinda feel sorry for him once I saw his back story and his unrequited love for Buffy, but eh. I don't think he's that good looking. Not a big fan of the sunken in cheeks.
I know a lot of my friends love him, but I think it's because he has that "I'm a bad a**" front but inside he seems like he's a sweet guy. Least, in my opinion of it.

czandra ...he's hot, and is british!!! Spike the character is british.. but not James Marsters in reaal life thougth.. Spike is hott because he is hot. He is a bad guy!.. thats one thing The way he walks and tallks its another. Then there is when he starts fighting on the gool side and trys to win buffys heart!

Yes weel the actor is really nice if you met him you would appreciate his niceness. I really like spike because of his whole bad-boy-'tude it really works on him.

The badass thing he had going for him and the cheekbones and the hotness. Then he fell in love with Buffy and she ruined him. But he did have a comeback while he was insane in the basement...He was just fun (until he fell in love with Buffy).

czandra ...he's hot, and is british!!! Being british isn't an unlimited pass to being attractive. Believe me I wish it was, but I've been British my whole life, English in fact. I get why people like the guy, he's funny, sarcastic, badass and damn cool. And the ladies dig that whole washboard abs and weird cheekbone thing he's got going.

I think Spike is such a good character because he is strong. Not physically, but he has a very definit personalility, and you know how he's react to certain situations. The only character I can think of that is that strong is Willow. Both are written in a way that you can't help but love. That's my opinon anywho.

He kind of got scrambled by Buffy though...She broke him. He was perfect before she got there. (I have an odd obsession with villains)
