Malachite turned pink at all the clapping and the whistling -- he wasn't used to being at the center of attention with so many people in the room. "Thank you very much!" he said with a smile. He set Rayen and Than on their feet, and the two dashed off to raid the food table. Mal went over and gave Adrian a hug before making his way around the room, saying hi and introducing himself to the faces he didn't know -- starting with the group of girls. "Eeee~ green hair! And green and blue hair!" He quickly hugged them all, and continued on his way to Hobo and Macyn. He spotted Lucavi nearby and decided that the boy would be his next guest to greet.

Adrian glanced at Theif, but kept an eye on Malachite. "Of course I should," he said. "It's cathartic for her. I told everyone that they were taking their lives in their own hands if they wanted to go in the kitchen." He then glanced at Rayen. "I doubt it. Rayen's shy around everybody, but he usually likes people."

Soco also heard Kilayla's comment and couldn't decide whether to be amused or to be offended. Instead, he opted for hiding in the kitchen with Hana and Kaleb.

Although he hadn't been able to contain his excitement with the girls, Malachite managed to bite his tongue and not comment on the green streak on the stranger's hair. "Hey there!" he said, holding his hand out. "I'm Malachite."

"Aww, that's too bad, I would've liked to have seen him." Malachite took the package and started unwrapping it. "So, you must be new. I haven't seen you around anywhere, before. How do you know Kenna?"

"Ahh, cool. I like 'em both; they're good people."

Mal pulled out the box, and opened it, revealing the jewelry inside. "Awesome!" he said, poking at the stones and trying very, very hard not to act like an over-excited child. He quickly closed the box again and gave Macyn a hug. "Here, give him this for me. The end of the month? Where'd he go?"

Mako smirked - Tsu obviously didn't quite understand Luca, perhaps because Mako had made him leave his vast collection of animal bones at home. "Well, I wouldn't put it past him, just to warn you" he chuckled, jumping slightly at Tsu's sharp whistle.

Luca finished off his burger rather voraciously, licking at his lips and sparing the food table another glance, starting to get anxious - anxious to leave. His nails pressed into his own palms, biting sharply into his skin as he tried to occupy himself, not wanting to leave the task up to anybody else.

Ami slinks in through the front door, feeling slightly sheepish for not having come sooner, but what was a girl to do? Claim to be fashionably late? Excuses rarely made anything better so she simply detached herself from pressing up against the wall to mingle with others. Hopefully she could say hello to AV-kun and Mal as well in the near future but it did not look as if many people were out and about yet at such an early hour.

Slipping her hand through the long chestnut locks that she had let down for the event they sway happily all the way along the curve of her back. The mau's tail was swinging behind her too as she sauntered towards the stairs.

Macyn smiled. " That's pretty cool i wish i was named after a stone..." He liked his name but he couldn't get a gift like the one Kenna got Mal. " Are you guys friends?"
