Neko_Kitsuni Double_Sins Neko_Kitsuni Very true. I mean, he obviously hasn't changed much, (he was just in LXG as Dorian Grey). Black curls, blue contacts, a bit of accent training, and I'd have to agree. Now, the problem with Brad Pitt is that he would be an amazing Edward (watch Meet Joe Black, where he LITERALLY plays Death blaugh ), but he would also be a great Asher. The whole long golden hair, tormented emotions deal. If we could find a better Asher or a better Edward, he'd be great. Then again, the two have never appeared in the same scene that I remember... eek Guy Pierce can be Edward and Brad Pitt can be Asher! Sounds good to me! blaugh I mean, Brad could play Edward... but he's just... I dunno. I think he would be a really good Asher, especially after seeing him in Troy. I thought that he would be great as Asher after I saw Interview with a Vampire about 2 years ago.

Who cares about the plot, I hear he gets to remove his shirt! *me* ******** off! If Brad Pitt, or Tom Cruise, was in it... They'd remake the character to revolve around their supposed acting ability so that they'd be able to handle the role so that they'd be able to bring in more of a crowd. If they cast those two, or really any big name with no acting ability (russell crowe for an example), then it'd be about raking in the money and not about working the story into a film.

To respond to the Brad Pitt argument, I disagree. I mean, yes, seeing Brad Pitt take off his shirt is not something to be missed, but think about it for a minute.
Asher doesn't come into play until Burnt Offerings. By then, won't they have focused on the plot a bit more? sweatdrop I mean, it would be silly to wait around for the first several movies, then expect fangirls to bring in lots of studio dollars.
Besides that, I believe Ms. Hamilton said that if movies were ever made, she would be directly involved in the script writing process, so that her books wouldn't be ruined. I seriously doubt that she would allow the movies to be all about money and not about plot.

i never thought of kristen dunst when she was little when i thought of nikolaos.. but it seems to make sense in my mind, Nicholaos looked exactly like Kirsten Dunse in IWAV.

I think she has more of the Nikolaos look than Kristen Dunst. I think Nikolaos was discribed as being waif like and Dakota definitely has that look going for her.
