I'm going to fry up some corn mush later today to make it all crispy and tasty.
I must have some weird obsession with things involving corn meal... Or maybe it's just that we have corn meal and I know how to make stuff from it, so I do. *shrugs*

Anyone ever seen the late 90's Hallmark Alice movie, with Gene Wilder as the Mock Turtle? And the Henson studio puppets? I love it.

I agree with [Nevar] , the 90's Hallmark movie with Tina Majorino as Alice was great. I've had it since it came out, along with the Care Bears version of Alice in Wonderland. blaugh I've pretty much grown up around Alice in Wonderland (hence the name) And then after that, Tina was in Napolean Dynamite. haha. That version of the books, however, would be my favorite. I despise the Disney one.

I love the Disney one, too. I love most. I don't think I'll love the Manson one, though. xp
Speaking of which, is anybody really surprised that he's getting divorced?

I'm surprised that he would get married. *le shrug*
And it's not really related to Alice but Pan's Labyrinth was GREAT. *drools*

i'm glad you have good review's for Pan's, i've heard mixed messages fro it...
also, met the maker of a wonderful stop-action film of the title "blood tea and red string."
ordered it off on barns and noble and looking forward to seeing more than just five minutes of it.

There was an awesome Looking Glass movie that I saw on Tv. It followed the book script EXACTLY, except it added a scene or two. I hate all the pictures online, it look a lot better in the movie. http://www.amazon.com/Alice-Through-Looking-Desmond-Barritt/dp/B0006FO9C4/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-3631868-1492467?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1173035475&sr=8-1

mcm On the subject of television shows, anyone remember that live action one from... Probably early nineties? Either that or late eighties. The rabbit was on roller blades and stuff. I think it was called "Adventures in Wonderland". Was it that one with the puppets?! I sort of remember it... I thought I was going crazy because no one else remembered it.

I watched a clip of an old T.V. show on Youtube where Alice just returned from Wonderland and realizes she's trapped behind the mirror... Poor Alice! Doesn't even get a chance to spend some time relaxing before she's pushed off into yet another wacky adventure.

From the puppet show thing, or something different? I liked the rabbit on rollerblades, but it always annoyed me that they had modern clothes. I mean, the story probably could work in modern times, but it's not as cool. talk2hand
