Akira stopped and turned around. "Anou, Tai-kun. Konnichi wa..." He said and tucked some loose hair behind his ear. Blinking he tilted his head to the side noticing the twitch in the other's eye. He just smiled and laughed softly. "Of course we're neighbors. I've lived here ever since I moved back to Japan actually. But nothing with us being neighbors is it?" he smiled again.
"Help? Sure. I'll give you a hand as soon as I finish this chapter." He nodded.
Why am I talking like this is a normal thing? Akira's own eye twitched, but his hair covered it, so that action was well hidden.

"Well you see, Akira-kun...I can call you -kun, right? Sorry if I'm offending. This isn't my condo. It belongs to a friend of mine, and she told me to meet my neighbors. So here I am. It was nice meeting you, Jun, Rease. You're both very attractive." Tai smiled and then froze. 'What the hell did I just say. That's not like me.' His eye began twitching again, more noticeably, but he quickly stopped it. "Akira-kun, you want to go to my condo? The book's back there. I don't have much to eat, sorry, but I have all the pop-tarts you could ever want!" He smiled and chuckled a bit, walking over to Akira.
"Pretty colorful bunch around here. Literally. Is everyone as colorful as Jun and Reace are?" His eyes shifty, he whispered into Akira's ear. "They make such a cute couple, don't you think?"

Once in my life, I'd like to meet a normal person. Akira thought but just smiled. "Ah, I see." He said and nodded. "And sure you can call me Akira-kun." He nodded and started to follow Tai back to his condo. Or, his friend's condo anyways.
"Colorful? I believe so." He said. When he thought color, his thoughts immediately went to Tatsuki and the whole outfit thing. It suited him and he admired him for his open mindedness when it came to clothing, he just wished he didn't get pulled into it so much.
"Heh, yes, they do go well together." He whispered hoping Jun and Reace wouldn't hear him.
"Oh! Reace! Thanks for the taxi and letting me watch the photoshoot." he called out before walking into Tai's condo.
"Poptarts? Heh, thanks I think I'll decline for now. But, maybe I'll stop by for breakfast." he chuckled.

He opened the door and went inside, walking over to the fridge and freeze.
"Oh well. I don't really like pop-tarts either. They're just premade so I eat them. Don't have to fry or stir or any of that...Lemme check what else I have?"
He opened up the freezer, which had obviously seen little use. It was full of ice and wondered if anything in here saw the light of day. Looking toward the back, he saw a box containing a premade pepperoni pizza.
"Oh goody," he said, taking it out. "No expiration date...Guess I'll make this." Opening the box, he took the pizza out and opened the microwave oven, sitting on the counter next to the fridge. He popped in the pizza, set the timer, and then threw away the box.
"Now where were we. Oh of course. The book. You can finish translating yours first...where is your book, anyway, Akira-kun?" Tai admitted. Adding the kun was a bit awkward since they had just met. And even so, he barely used the -kun suffix for anyone. But it felt nice using it. "Go ahead and sit down, make yourself comfortable...somewhere...sorry, place is still kinda messy." He laughed and watched the pizza rotate in the microwave oven.

"This is Buckingheim Palace compared to my condo." Akira laughed and sat down on the couch. "My book is right here." He said pulling out the thick book from his bag. "I already finished chapters 1-6 today and I'm in the middle of 7. It's due by the end of next week I believe...not really sure. They really give it hard to the seniors in the business though." Akira shook his head and sighed. Cracking open the book, he flipped to the page he left off at and pulled all his papers out.
"Do you mind if I smoke?" He asked. "Ah, forget it." he said before the other could answer and pulled a lollipop out of his bag. Unwrapping it, he plopped it in his mouth and looked back at Tai. "Want one?" he asked politely. Occasionally, he'd look down and translate a few sentances.

"Thanks for not smoking. I want to keep this place smelling...well...not necessarily decent. Just not of tobacco smoke. I've never smoked and never will."
'Sure. My friends got me drunk once... And some stuff happened. But that's a different story.'
"Pizza'll be ready in about half an hour. Just make sure the microwave oven doesn't catch on fire, kay? I'm gonna take a quick shower. Call if you need anything, I'm a quick dresser."
He walked into the room and grabbed an undershirt, a pair of boxers, and a pair of baggy-esque jeans before going into the bathroom and closing the door.

He's gunna hate my condo then. He thought to himself. Since, he almost rarely went outside to smoke. He just smoked in his condo, in his room especially more than 2/3 of the time. Shrugging, he started to finish up his chapter. Occasionally, he'd look up at the pizza that was cooking in the microwave seeing if it was okay. Shrugging, he just swirled his lollipop around his mouth and went back to work.
As he worked, he hummed a song softly and looked up. Seeing the remote there on the table, he decided it wouldn't hurt to watch some TV. Turning it on, he flipped through the channels and saw a cartoon that he voice acted for. A whole marathon of it. "There's nothing really left to watch so okay." he said. It was the new episode that he voiced over just the other day too. Chuckling, he sang along with the theme song and looked at the credits.
Akira frowned when he discovered they spelled his name wrong.

Tai finished up and turned off the shower, putting his clothes in the laundry basket next to the sink and putting on the undershirt, boxers, and jeans. Brushing his hair in a random fashion, he opened the door, smelling the pizza coming from the other room. He heard the TV on, along with comical voices.
"Oh, watching some TV? What's on?" He heard a character speak. And the voice sounded awfully familiar. "Akira-kun, is that you? It sounds a lot like you. Well. Almost. More goofy and high-pitched kinda. But it's basically the same thing."
"How goes the translating?" He flashed a smile and walked to the microwave, opening it up and with oven mitts over his hand, took out the pizza and put it on a large paper plate. "Should I just cut it in half then?"
Absentmindedly, he looked at Akira. "You know you should learn to relax more. Have a little fun, ya know? You need work but that doesn't mean it can't be fun, too." He gulped and froze, putting his hands on his mouth. "Sorry! I should really learn to shut my mouth..."

Akira laughed and shook his head putting up a hand. "It's okay. I do the same thing. I almost got fired from the things I've said." The orange headed male said and closed his book not only finishing up the 7th chapter but the 8th as well. "I just like my job that's all." He shrugged.
Looking up at the screen, he saw the pink haired Daisuke run across and slash a monster in half with his sword of light. He then glanced back at Tai and grinned proudly.
"Yup. That's me! But, they spelled my name wrong. I'm a part time voice actor for anime and cartoons. My genre range to all sorts." he nodded. "I need to go voice over another anime next week." He said speaking in the same voice as the character running around on screen before him.
"As the pizza, half is fine." he mumbled and leaned back happy to close his book.

Tai let out a shy smile and watched the character on-screen. It was amazing; Daisuke looked nothing like Akira, and the two seemed to act completely different. But the voice matched completely. "You know, I really bet you know how to have fun. You just gotta let it out. Like...holding in a loud scream isn't good for you, ya know?" He cut the pizza in half, the melted cheese gooey and oozing over the slices. "Mm..smells good. I guess everything does after so many days of pop-tarts. Oh. and a few containers of instant ramen."
Taking a napkin and placing his half of the pizza on it, Tai wiped off some of the grease on the slice. "So, I've been wondering. If you have seniority at your job, you must be really good about deadlines and pretty fluent in English. How are you so fluent? I just know a bit here and there. I was surprised I even got this far."

"My dad was in the military, and we moved a lot. I know several different languages, but English was the language everyone knew at least a little of, well the people I knew anyways. So I decided to learn it when I was younger. So, I became fluent even before we reached America." Akira explained leaning back again.
"I know how to have fun, you're right. But I never have time to do so. I've had a ton of work to do, and I like to finish my work first so I have the money to pay for whatever I want. Although, I haven't had time to go out shopping too." He said.
Running a hand through his hair, he looked back at the character on the screen who was still fighting. Another monster though. He glanced at the pizza and got up taking a piece himself. Taking a bite of it, he sat back down on the couch once again.

"Oh, I see. So you've known English forever, then. But the working first part...that really can't be good for you. Too much work makes Jack a dull boy, don't you know. I go to college and switch from job to job. But I try to find jobs that aren't all about work and party a bit in college. I'm part of a band. And that's almost all fun. Except for the parts where we don't get along on things and someone ends up with a bruise from a thrown drumstick..."
Getting up from his spot, he sat down next to Akira on the couch.
He cleared his throat, noticing how digressive he was being. "Anyway, how about we go shopping tomorrow? I want to buy a few more groceries And there's a new CD I want to buy."

Akira laughed and sighed. "Tomorrow..I guess. I'm sure my boss wouldn't be too mad if I took a day off. I haven't taken a day off anyways. Even when I was sick, I just had someone deliver another book to me...so, I guess I can afford to take a day off. But I like finish my work first before I go out..but, okay." It was obvious Akira had an internal struggle for a moment.
"So you're in a band? That's cool. I have zero musical talent at all. The only thing I'm actually good at is swimming and diving." he shrugged and swirled the lollipop around his mouth again.

Kyohei was sitting in his room with the girl on the end of his bed. She seemed to be itching to get to what was supposed to be happening but Kyohei was just sitting there.
"You know, I didn't come here to just watch you sit."
"Soooooorry!!!!" Kyohei seemed to snap out of it and immediately went to what was supposed to be going on. The girl left about a half hour later seemingly satisfied and Kyohei was left to stare at his ceiling. What had that been so unsatisfying?

"Oh really, that's cool. Swim team? I loved to swim when I was younger, but my parents moved away from the beach and into the city, so I didn't get to swim nearly as much." Tai swallowed the last bit of pizza and threw away the napkin. "I'm still stunned that we live next to each other. I mean...what are the odds? And you're practically famous if you're a voice actor, right? Sorry, I don't watch many cartoons."
He tilted his head and watched Akira swirl the lollipop. "So we'll go shopping together tomorrow then? What time do you want to leave? I wake up whatever time, there's no real pattern...but I could set my alarm."
