At her words Ra turned red again and hid behind his curtain of hair. Smooth, him. Right. He wasn't sure he wanted to be endearing. Edearing was soft, girls didn't want soft guys. Well not when they actually got them.
He looked up and smiled at Is. She was mostly off the mark about his concern for Chii but as he could not discuss problems that were not his to share he decided to play along.
His only insecurity where Chii was concerned, was that one day she would look from him to Jun, or another attractive guy, think 'what was I thinking' and dump him.
"Thanks Is." He said shyly still looking down at the table. After a moments silence he smirked and looked back up. "I'll have a nice bad boy fight scar to show her too." He laughed gesturing to his arm.

Is looked up when Ra grew silent and watched him. She wasn't sure how to read his blush or the way he avoided her eyes. Looked like she might have let her mouth run away with her again. Her mother was right about that. She did tend to talk too much. As the silence lengthened she shifted in her seat to sit cross legged on the booth seat. When he finally spoke, she looked up at him with a warm smile. When pointed to his arm, she looked down at it and began to chew on the inside of her lip. She stirred her side of the ice cream a bit, then set her spoon down on a napkin.
"I'm stuffed. Looks like you'll have to finish it all," she grinned.

Ra looked down at the ice cream and dug his spoon in once again. He wasn't too sure he'd be able to do it but it was well worth a try.
"Do you like football?" He asked randomly, looking back up at her as he raised the spoon to his mouth. "I mean soccer?"

Israel laughed a little and folded her hands down in her lap.
"Well... I've never played before. But uh... I will admit I like the sport for more... personal reasons, shall we say?" she grinned, thinking off all the really hot guys running around a soccer field. "Sorry... you've managed to catch me on a really girly day it seems. Yeah... I do like soccer. It looks like it would be a lot of fun to play."

Ra gave a snort of laughter at her answer as he dug his spoon in for the last of the sundae. He could guess what the personal reasons were.
"Well, you know it is the World Cup now." He said thinking excitedly to the tournament. "Iran are playing this year. I'm excited." He admitted eating the last mouthful and swallowing. "I don't think they will get far though. I was thinking maybe a few of us could get together and watch some games, or play some matches. As everyone is so international. Would you be interested?"

"That sounds like it would be so cool. I would love to learn how to play. Do you think you could teach me?" she asked, quickly picking up on his excitement. Truthfully she really did think it was a great idea, but she wasn't near as enthusiastic as he was at the prospect of running around chasing after a ball. But if it put a smile on his face, she was all for playing along.

"Of course I could teach you." He said putting the spoon down and leaning back in the chair. "It's easy, especially if we are playing for fun." He took a long thoughtful pause, wondering who else they could get involved.
"It's good stress relief too, you know, if school is being a pain."

"When is school not being a pain?" she laughed and untucked her legs. She grabbed her bag and got up from the booth. She went over to the register and paid for the ice cream and turned to Ra. "Is it a really complicated game to learn?" she asked him as she started towards the door.

Ra laughed as her followed her out of the cafe.
"No, really easy actually. You just kick the ball to other people on yur team and then into the net."
He yawned a little and looked over at the road.
"Shall wa go and see if we can get a bus back?"

"Sure," she smiled and looped her arm through his as they started towards the nearest bus stop. "I had so much fun today," she said as she slipped her free hand around the strap of her bag. "Did you Ra?" she asked looking up at her friend.

"I did." He said, not flinching as she linked arms with him and looking down. "More fun than I have had for a while."
Again he searched the bus times and looked up as one happened to pull up next to them.
"Well, that was good timing." He said unlooping his arm and climbing up onto the bus. Once they were sat down once more he turned to he and smiled. "Thanks again Is. You're the only one of my friends who cared enough to bully me into smiling. I appreciate it." Blushing a little at his admition he turned to look out the window.

Israel giggled as the bus pulled up right as Ra started to look at the timetable. She followed him up into the bus and settled herself next to him. As the bus lurched forward, she looked over at him when he thanked her, then began to laugh.
"Well... you are very welcome. Next time when you are trying to feel sorry for yourself, you will have to do a better job of hiding, or I might just find you and sit on you again and have to squash a smile out of you," she grinned up at him

"I'll remember that." Ra grinned at her before turning to look out the window again. "Note to self. Hide from Is."
He smirked and turned back to her.
"When do you want your soccer lesson?" He asked still watching the scenery fly by.

When he turned back to the window she laughed and started to dig in her bag. She continued to search her bag as she looked back up at him.
"Whenever you are free I suppose. I hope you don't mind teaching someone completely uncoordinated. It could get interesting," she smiled and pulled out her sketchbook. She looked down and flipped through it. Sora, Xel, then Giani, separated by other random pictures, passed by until she came to the picture she was looking for.
"Are you ready to see how I see you now?" she asked him, holding the book up to her chest.

Ra laughed. If he could teach someone as skatty as Parisa to kick a ball around he could teach Is.
With a frown he looked at her sketchbook as she pulled it out of her bag. He had forgotten about the picture and wasn't sure if he wanted to see it. It was like looking at a photo of yourself and seeing how stupid your hair looked or the stupid face you were making.
Only this wasn't a real representation. This was how she saw him. This made him a bit more nervous. He took a deep breath and looked up at her.
"O.k. I'm ready." He said looking at the back of the sketchbook.
