You know what annoys the heck out of me? People saying that women going through pregnancy and childbirth is like experiencing hell and abortion is a very wonderful thing. Most of these people that I've met so far don't even know what its like to go through pregnancy and childbirth, so they just assume everything.

anyone who believes in God but accepts abortion is truly warpped... what kind of mindset must one have to think that that'd be ok? seriously, i know atheists who believe that there is no consequence to any actions after life who are pro life. just for the sake of the child, not wanting to waste it's one shot and keep it from the void for a lifetime, even if it doesn't matter afterwards. seriosuly, explain to me how God, jesus, mohammed, buddah, any of them, could ever say "well, your month or two is worth more than a life".... i mean, just try explaining it to God. deep minds with hidden motives are but clear puddles to faces full of eyes.

Right now, aside from people who refuse to look beyond political views to see the real person who holds them, the thing that annoys me most is people who try to tell me that I am Pro-Fetus, because I don't support born life. Not people who just say I'm Pro-Fetus, that's okay, I'm Pro-Fetus. But when they try to imply that not only am I Pro-Fetus, but I'm not Pro-born child, or Pro-Woman, because I am Pro-Fetus.
...I am sort of working on a banner for this, actually, and this is what I have so far:
Even though I am a poor college student, and, even when I have a job, it is only at minimum wage, I donate money every year to organizations that go over to Asia, India, Africa, or wherever they are needed and use That money to provide food for the hungry, clothing for the naked. They build hospitals, running water and sewage systems, houses, and, yes, churches. I myself have given many, many volunteer hours to the Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity. I have set up temporary shelters during floods. I've packaged care bags for people whose things have been destroyed by water, wind, earth, or fire. I have made and passed out meals and bag lunches at soup kitchens. Last semester I gave some guy who came up to me the last ten dollars in my wallet, all the money I had left, so that he could buy food. I've trained for the purpose of search and rescue. I have Pro-Life friends who I worked with in the Red Cross, who have found the bits and pieces left behind when a flood or a plane crash took someone's life. I support two men or two women being married, because I believe in the seperation of church and state. I support the war in Iraq, not because I like killing Arabs, not because I think we should steal their oil, but because I believe that the regime of Saddam Hussein was too evil, and couldn't be stopped any other way. Because I believe that it is wrong for families to be killed for no better reason then that they didn't support their leader. Because I believe that it is wrong to force women to cover every inch of skin, and follow three feet behind men. Because I believe in human rights.
I support the illegalization of abortion, not because I want to subject women under my "barbed phallus," Not because I want to force women to become "second class citizens," But because I believe the fetus is a living human being who deserves the right to live just as much as anyone else.
So the next time someone tells me that I am only Pro-Fetus, or that I am not Pro-Woman, or that I shouldn't force my religious beliefs on someone else, or that I believe, deep down that women should be second class citizens or are the property of their unborn children, I'm going to be hardpressed not to react violently, and/or tell them to go ******** themselves.

Ok! I don't really rant in here a lot but today I must! Why is it that pro-choicers demand respect, but refuse to give it back? Why is it that when I voice my views i'm automatically a "destroyer of women?" Its like I say "I'm pro-life" and they are like "OMG! You think woman are second class citizens" F-ing.Retards.

Because, when it comes to *most pro-choicers, that's the only way to provide a decent argument. They also seem to love drama. Lots of it, too.
*Most =/= All.

Woohoo! Post 100!
On to the rant:
1. Norway is too far away. Seriously, it needs to move closer to the US. Europe doesn't need it to be so close; it can definitely afford to drift Post-Pangea style only thousands of times faster than that. Wouldn't that be awesome? Too freaking far away. Maybe the USA should just invade Norway for their oil. They can use the harboring terrorists bit because well, there are known terrorists in Norway that they just don't kick out for some reason. It'll be super, because then Alaska can be all, "I'm not the only snowy but disconnected land!" Actually, if the US invades Canada too, Norway can be the new Alaska. Those mounties don't stand a chance! They'll be all, "Send in the polar bears, eh?" and sure, some of our brave men and women in the armed forces will be mauled, but Alaska won't be lonely and as for the armed forces in Norway, the moose and lutefisk are no match for our military! It'll be splendid, and then I can visit Terje without a passport and without filling in a million stupid forms on the plane ride.

Don't forget the Polar Bear's natural camoflauge ability, and the Meese' slingshot horn-things. eek They are scary...
And if Norway did a continental drift at that speed at the US, I would think it would be bad when it slammed into us... xd I mean, depending on the direction, it'd obliterate any one of the smaller states.

pretty1np1nk Pyro-reciter So, to be open minded, we have to be pro-choice? If thats the case then I guess I was once open minded, because I was once pro-choice (Personly pro-life though). Later I looked at every thing that was goign on, looked at all the options that were being given (or hidden...) I made observations of every thing i had heard and seen, and then came to a conclusion based on those observtions. Yes, to be open-minded, and accepting of others, you need to be pro-choice. The difference between pro-life and pro-choice, is that one is forcing opinions on others, and the other is not. I'm sure you can guess which is which.I...simply...can't...stand these types!!!
