Annuminas - Halls of Elendil - Meeting Room"Then M'Lord I must take my leave of you, if you'll allow." She bowed her head and turned towards the door. Elendil nodded his approval, and gestured to the door with a smile. Still with a stupid grin on her face she pulled it open, much to the guard's surprise and then shouted a cheerful farewell to Loswen before exiting the halls with speed and excitement. Still with a stupid grin on her face she spilled into the dining room after the exhausting labrynth of corridors.

Annuminas - Dining Hall Morthol Miluifaer
Morthol was leaned against the balcony, watching the rain fall, still humming the song he composed to Nolah. He was completely equipped with the Squire's Arms: a mithril breastplate, with the symbol of Elendil etched in it, Seven Stars over White Tree; a long black cape, stitched with gold and silver borders, the same emblem as the breastplate gracing and enhancing it's beauty; Damniramlung, Dragon Bane, the sword of the High King's protector; Rîmor, a Numenorean helmet made of mithril and iron, it's semi-long wings feathered with black. He was equipped like a champion, and a champion he was, for his skills in battle were the greatest in Annuminas, save Elendil, for much of his father's strength and skill was in his veins.
The door suddenly opened. Morthol quickly turned around, to face his beloved. The time suddenly stopped. Only his and Nolah's breathing could be heard. He looked deep into her eyes, his heart about to break into pieces, for Nolah's beauty overwhelmed his senses. He was blind to everything else but Nolah, and inside him, he found enough strength to speak;
"Lady Nolah...I..." He dared not to speak.
He turned mute, suddenly. He struggled with the words, trying to find something to say...
"...I..." It was too much. His entire mental power could not stop it. A tear crossed his cheeks, falling to the ground. Until he managed to speak clearly, as clearly as ever before. The High King had opened the door silently, an stood there, watching. Smiling, and with an encouraging nod, the King closed the door. The words that came out of his lungs echoed through his heart as a wave. It had all come to this moment.
"I love you." Once he said that, his entire energies went down with a flicker. He was now a statue, his only abillity was to see, listen, and wait. A wait as tormenting as years of inprisonment in Mordor.

"Morthol..." Nolah's voice trailed off as she stared in wonder at the squire, no not squire for that was not as he appeared. He appeared a mighty warrior, handsome though young in years but wise. A single tear slipped down his cheek and his eyes shone bright as he stared at her.
Though she had heard many stories about love at first sight-though to be honest this was perhaps her third or fourth sighting- she had never really believed in them. Until now. Before her mind could comprehend the swirlings of emotion within her, the first words that came tumbled out. "I love you as well..." Her voice trailed off and she paused as that damned blushing spread into her cheeks and right up to her hair. The warmth brought her back to her senses and immediatley she realized she did not regret the words but infact meant them, with everything within her. "I've heard your song...it was beautiful, it nearly brought me to tears and-" She paused with a small grin. "It was a sight better than having spent a night with an orc."

Annuminas - Elendil's Palace - Dining Hall An extremely happy and inlove Morthol Miluifaer
Suddenly, the wait stopped. The suffering was no more. His heart bursted out with a kind of happiness that he had never felt before. He was radiant, but suddenly, he cried, and cried, but those were not tears of sadness, they were of utter joy, as if a prisoner of Angband had travelled in a minute towards the glory of Valinor. Crying and laughing at the same time, with her comment, he ran to Nolah, embracing her and lifting her in the air, and with two spins, he laid her down, and kissed her, and in that moment, the rain stopped, and the clouds parted, and the Sun's rays flooded the chambers of Elendil. If any other person would be inside that room, that person would have thought that Gil-Estel had come down to Middle-Earth, for Morthol's armour shone as brightly as a star, as did his eyes, radiating joy.
"I have awaited for this moment for a long, long time, since I first saw you aboard the ship of Elendil. No words in the tongues of Men can describe what I felt then, and what I feel today." In his voice laid the echoes of a renewed hope, as he smoothed her hair, that had been loosened by the "flight".
"Even if you were covered in orc rags, and your wonderous face disformed by spell or enchantment, my love for you would never die! Never!" he emphasized, as he turned his head to the balcony, the greenery of the Gardens laying below, the wet plants shining, as if covered with diamond drops of many tones, and as he looked, his voice sounded once again;
"O, how Endor is fair!" And more tears rolled over his cheeks, as he smiled.

Much to her own surprise Nolah felt tears running down her own cheeks. She let them fall however, choosing instead to remain in Morthol's arms, a smile on her face that shone as she rested her head against his armoured chest. Her heart hammered as she clung to him. It seemed a void had been filled, a void she hadn't known existed until this moment. Delicately she turned and then went up on her tiptoes to press a chaste kiss to his lips. "I want to know you." She whispered against his shoulder. "I want to know everything about you." She reached up a slender hand and ran her fingers through the raven strands before letting a finger trace his cheek.

As he passed his hand over Nolah's hair, he took her hand, and led her to the King's couch, near the fireplace. He let her sit on his legs, and as his face came in contact with hers, he told everything he could remember of himself; His childhood, marked with the cruelty of his father and the kindness of his mother, his likes and dislikes, and the time he spent as Squire of Elendil, filled with embarassing adventures, such as being taken by the Guard Captain to the enfermary, in that same day. As he ended his speech, he questioned himself. How did Nolah heard his song devoted to her?
"...but I have a question...how have you heard of my song? Was it the King? I suspect that he was listening to me some minutes ago..."
"Yes, it was me." A voice sounded from behind the chair. As the two love-birds turned their heads to see who spoke, they found Elendil, smiling broadly, with Isilien by his side, equally smiling.
"And I am glad that I did it. It seems you two are finally together. I believe we have much to discuss now, at dinner..."
Neither Nolah and Morthol had noticed that night had fallen, and the servants were already laying the food on the large table. He and his beloved raised, and sat on the left side, as the King and his son's wife sat on the right. Loswen had already arrived, and had permission to sit at the King's chair, that was usually the one at the edge of the table. As he started eating, Elendil spoke;
"Isilien, my dear, Elenna seems to be recovering, and Loswen's coleagues are watching her day and night. I believe that we should be departing tomorrow. I ask you; Can your father's servants prepare a marriage in Mithlond for when we arrive there? You will marry, will you not?" He asked Morthol and Nolah.
"Yes, they are able to, but we should first send a messenger to Mithlond. I will take care of that, if the couble agrees..."
Morthol didn't thought twice, before raising himself from his chair, kneeling, and holding Nolah's hands inside his own, he asked;
"Nolah Pennbeleth, my beloved, will you marry me?"

Nolah stared speechless at him for a full moment. Everything had passed so quickly that she still felt as though the world was reeling about her, but through the constant spinning she could see Morthol standing before her, hands clasping her own and a large smile spread across her lips. "Of course I will...get up." She tugged hard at him though she knew she had little to do with his rising and then allowed herself to be enveloped in his arms.

Loswen walks in as the question is asked. She sigh, shrugging a bit and grinning.
Weddings on the sea are some of the most lovely I have seen.
She grinns, a soft smile that held slight envy and a lot of mischief.

"I love the idea of a wedding by the sea." Nolah held tightly to Morthol's hand and paused in her speech.
One of her fondest childhood memories was of a dinner party held by her father. All the guests had come in their best dresses or costumes with beautifully made masks. She remembered not being allowed to go for more than the habitual introduction of the children and fawning over how old they were growing before being ushered to their rooms with the nurse. Nolah remembered desperately wanting to be out with the crowd, to dance and wear a pretty mask but knowing children were forbidden.
After an hour of listening by the door instead of listening to Larion's stories her mother had some to her with a present. It had been a small mask.
"Oh, if it were possible I would love to have a masque after the ceremony...though I do not know if such a thing is still done."

A Mask-are-Raid? I have never heard of one.
Lowsen shakes her head. The joy of living in two worlds. Things had a way of getting mixed up, or simply never mentioned, in front of her. This dance was one of them.

"A masquerade is exactly how it sounds. Everyone has beautiful masks and they wear their best garments...and then things proceed just like a normal celebration. I've wanted to hold one for so long though I've never gone forward with plans for it..."

Annuminas - Elendil's Palace - Dining Hall Isilien Andunel
Isilien smiles warmly, overjoyed to witness such a special moment. As her gentle eyes watch the two lovers, the elf princess remembers her own engagement and marriage to Anarion, all those years ago.
He asked her on bended knee, the two lovers standing on a small bridge in Imladris, the soothing sound of rushing water below them. It was night time and they had escaped from a large banquet, hosted by Lord Elrond. The Last Homely Home was crowded; music and laughter echoed throughout its great halls and candlelight danced on its walls. No one noticed when the Prince of Gondor took the Daughter of Gil-galad by the hand and led her to his favorite place. She looked so beautiful that night, dressed in a dress of pale blue silk; her long dark hair cascaded down her back in soft ringlets; a silver crescent moon at her brow. The soft moonlight reflected brilliantly on her silky hair and Anarion, held his breath, in awe of the Daughter of the Moon standing before him. With the gentle song of the running waters in the background, Anarion, Son of Elendil, bent down on one knee and asked Isilien Andunel for her hand in marriage.
They married a month later within a grove of trees, in the courtyard of the Citadel of Stars. Eldar and Edain all gathered to bless the union of the second son of the High King to the Daughter of the King of the Noldor. Sweet-smelling flowers perfumed the fresh air and elves raised their voices in song, singing merrily of Valinor and the coming of the Elves to Endor. Isilien and Anarion danced and laughed, kissed and were merry. And when the sun set on their weddig day, they began their lives together as husband and wife.
Isilien watches the happy couple and listens for awhile to the women excitedly beginning to make the preparations for the wedding, before quietly slipping out to arrange for messengers to journey to Mithlond. Thinking of the city by the sea warms Isilien's heart, much desiring to look upon the Sea. Elenna will likely be strong enough to journey with them and reunite with the rest of Isilien's family. After all that has happened, Isilien is looking forward to such a joyous occasion.

Nolah Pennbeleth
With the warmth of the fire and the closeness of friends the room was a comfortable atmosphere. Nolah, after they had eaten had undone her long plait and now her dark hair hung in loose waves about her face and shoulders-reaching to her lap with its soft tendrils. The dishes had been cleared away and she felt a safety with the group of people, a belonging as her hand lay intertwined with that of Morthol's beneath the table.
" Larion will be a handful when I return to my rooms." Nolah said with a small smile. The fire lit in the brown pools of her eyes-almost amber in the light. "Just today she was lecturing me about finding a husband-how I must find someone to take care of me-to carry on the family legacy. Now I come home betrothed to the most wonderful man in Arda, a man I will spend the rest of my life with gladly, for I love him with all my heart." She gave Morthol's hand a gentle squeeze to emphasize her point. "Though...I do believe we originally came here to discuss the trip...and the preperations, although I suspect the king had other motives as well.."

Loswen, having eaten her fill, watches the company around her. She was usually eating alone, in her rooms, this time of day. If she was awake. She was wide awake now, listening to Nolah. Her mother had been the same way. "You should settle down Loswen." "You're our only daughter Loswen." The half-elf was never so happy as the day her sister was born. Neniel, that was what her mother had named the baby. After that, Loswens's mother was too busy raising a second daughter to hound her first. Loswen never regretted leaveing Belfalas. She had decided she belonged with the Dunedain, that they were her people. Neniel, even as an infant, looked more like an Eldar than her sister.
Loswen was lost in thought, but finally snapped to when Nolah mentioned the trip.
The Princess should be ready to travel soon. She was resting peacefully when I left.
