"Geez, that took way too long." Jumping down from the tree, the man dressed in black stretched his arms a little bit before running pale fingers through his slicked back blonde hair. "I was beginning to think they'd never show up here."
With a wave of his hand, the cherry blossoms covering the tree faded away in a little shower of light. His illusion had managed to trick the children.
"Shall we make our way back then? I figure the spell will wear off in about an hour or two."

The lady nodded, then turned toward the entrance of the park. The sun was still hanging high in the sky, 1:00 at the latest.
Peering over her shoulder, she flicked back a piece of black hair and looked down at the kids.
"...You carry them." And with those words, she set off.

The man's bright blue eyes twitched slightly at the 'order', a faltered grin appearing on his face.
"My dear, you could be a little nicer about it," he stated, crouching down and gathering the children into his arms. He placed them over his shoulders and stood, watching as his partner got farther and farther away.
"Lilly..." the man whined, starting after her. "Wait for me!"

Pretending that she didn't hear the whine, Lillian bounded over the grasses and branches until she reached the jogging path which cut through the park. Twirling around, she made a sharp click with her heel.
"I wouldn't have to wait if you weren't so slow!" She said sharply, smiling.
She strode off, avoiding the path of a few energetic joggers and a group of rambunctious skateboarders.

The man walked as quickly as he could, a little weighed down with the children over his shoulders. Hopefully, no one would ask questions about why he was carrying the brats, and he could maybe pass for some sort of babysitter.
"I wouldn't be so slow if I didn't have to carry them. Can't we just teleport back?"

The lady shrugged, "Whatever floats your boat." She took a quick glance about her to make sure no one was coming near, then gave an all-clear sign.

"Ah, good." Witnesses would have been bad. Catching up to Lillian, he stopped next to her, crouching down to place Demare on the ground. He closed his eyes for a moment, and when he opened them again, they were pure white as the ground beneath them began to glow a faint blue. The four faded into the light.
It didn't take long for them to reappear in headquarters, his eyes returning to normal. Everything was quiet and the dull metallic walls caused the hallway to look dim. There were several cells with glass doors instead of steel bars, all of them empty and looked hardly used. It was like some sort of unused prison.
"So... where shall we put them, love?" Dante asked as he stood up, heaving the halfling child back under his arm and shifting the tree girl on his shoulder.

Lillian pulled open a random glass door, and made a crude bow as a sort of comic relief to the sterile room.
"Just toss them in," she sighed, peering into the empty room. As soon as her partner was out, she threw the door closed and strode down the hallway impatiently. The hallway was... unappetizing to be in, or something like those terms.
Mayu awakened with a flutter of eyelids, yawning yet again. An hour had passed since the two figures had left. She sat up, looking about the room, and nudged Demare sharply with her elbow. This was not the park.

Demare stirred upon being nudged, tossing his head from side to side as he winced. His mind was troubling him for one reason or another; some sort of weird dream running through his mind. He shivered a little bit, the floor cold. Opening his eyes slowly, he peered about the room, wondering what had happened.
"...Where are we...?" he asked quietly, sitting up as best as he could.

"I don't know," Mayu replied, leaning back against the wall. "We were at the park, weren't we?"
She yawned again, not fully awake from the nap she had taken. Standing up, though with some difficulty at first, Mayu hobbled over to the glass door and peered outside. The hallway was dim, and it took her a little bit to get used to the darker lighting. She motioned for Demare to come over, and stepped aside.

Demare struggled to stand up, his head hurting a little bit. Using the wall for support, he stumbled to the door, resting a bandaged hand against the glass. He squinted as he peered down the hallway, looking for some sort of life.
"We were... Someone brought us here," he stated, testing the door to see if it would open. It was locked tight. "I've never seen a place like this before."

"Are you okay?" Looking up with a frown, Mayu stepped over, ready to assist Demare if he needed it. Turning towards the glass door again, she gazed at it in concentration. The door wasn't perfectly translucent, and she was able to estimate the thickness at 1/4 of an inch.
Her pink eyes ran down the smooth surface of the door. It was... flawless. No cracks anywhere. Upon a closer look, however, she could barely make out a thin crack near the base of the door -- the width of a strand of hair, no less.
"Hand me your dagger?" Mayu asked, kneeling down to get a closer look at the crack. She had heard, though she was unsure where, that one would be able to crack open even the smallest crack if they got a wedge in at the right angle. Physics, or something.

"I-I'll be fine," he stammered, smiling a little bit to reassure her. "I feel a bit... weird, that's all. It's probably just because of the sleep."
Demare eyed the crack in the door as Mayu asked for his dagger, his left hand going up to reach for it. He stopped, however, noticing something being a bit off. His bandages were different... They were both clean, and none of them hung around his waist like they usually did. Mordanath was also missing.
"He's gone..." he whispered, his eyes widening a little bit. That must have been why he felt a little off. He'd never really been all that far away from the dagger ever since he received it. "They must have taken him."

"Alright," Mayu nodded, returning to the crack in the door.
"Gone?" She frowned, looking back up at Demare. The crack was their only hope of escape.. There were no windows, and the glass was reinforced with... a sort of acrylic or something? Then, an idea sprung to mind. If Demare was strong enough to be able to widen the crack a little, the glass would be easier to break. They might even be able to make a hole in the door to crawl through.
"Can you... sort of widen that crack a little?" she asked, glancing down at the foot of the door.

Bi-colored eyes studied the door for a moment, judging the probability of opening it without a wedge. They needed some sort of leverage... Mordanath would have been perfect for that. His blade was just thin enough to fit in there, and they could have forced the door open without a problem.
He tugged at the door a little bit again, listening to the lock as the deadbolt hit the stopping point. Clink. Clink. Clink. Clink. He continued to do this, listening to it as if they were ticks from a clock, marking every second that passed. If it only opened a little further... If there had been more room, he could use the force of the sliding door itself to try and break it open.
Grasping the handle with both hands, the halfling began to pull at it with all of his might. After a few moments, however, his fingers slipped from the bar and he tumbled backwards.
