Green mostly has positive associations. As a form of spiritual symbolism, it played an important part in Islam, as the sacred colour of the prophet and of divine providence. In China green jade symbolises perfection, strength, longevity and magical powers, and green dragons are a symbol of the yin energy and water.

Green was also the so-called colour of the Holy Grail and Ireland is traditionally known as the Emerald Isle. For Pagans green is linked with the natural elements of earth and water, the freshness of new life, of renewal and hope, and it’s become strongly associated with ecology.

Earth - (Meaning: The Element of Earth represents life, bounty, stability, protection, strength and patience. In alchemy the physical personification of earth is the Goblin, who possess many skills of their own, and live and work in and around mortal culture, sometimes congruently and sometimes as opposition.) Spell: Summoning the Element of Earth enables the Caster to encase his target in rock to cause Petrification. The Petrification can withstand 4 points of damage from the inside or outside, meaning the target must break their way out, or have a friend break them out. That said, it can also be used in dire situations to protect a target from 4 points of damage.

A "Maypole" is a tall, wooden pole with ribbons fastened to the top of it. The top can also have leaves, plants, and other decorations depending on what's being celebrated. From what I have observed, during "May Fest" in the town I used to go celebrate it in, they would have dancers each grab a ribbon that was attached to the pole and, in a dance, weave the ribbon down and around the pole. It was interesting to watch, except for the fact that it was hard to see. ;;;

Dryads, but some sources claim them to be "nymphs" and/or tree "nymphs." Some nymphs have been turned into trees, thus the confusion.
