The egg slowed it bounceing until it was just hovering next to Jude, it's tail flicking back and forth slowly. If it had a face anyone watching the scene could tell it would be giveing Jude a patronizeing look. Of course anyone watching the scene would most likely only see a man with a strangely shaped ballon floating next to him.

Jude picked up on the air of condescension from the creature easily. "Fine! So maybe you don't want to go. But you're not getting into my warehouse with all that noise." Jude growled out at the little balloon. He realized how foolish he might seem, but right now, he could care less. Letting out a rahter colorful curse, Jude stalked away knowing full well that the thing would follow him. Then he stopped. The creature shouldn't know where he lived...if he just jumped there, he might be able to leave the twanging annoyance behind. Smiling, Jude took a couple more steps and jumped.

The creature watched as Jude jumped away and floated in the air for a few moments before letting out another screechy chirp and started bounceing again. After a few bounces it suddenly bounced down low and flew up in the air about eight feet. From it, the egg let out an odd warping twang and in the next moment the entire world inverted its colors and took on a greyish hue. Bouceing again happly the egg began to move towards the warehouse. People, creatures and even objects remained frozen as the egg made it journy towards it's destination. All across the world everything was the same. Nothing moved or even twitched, all frozen in place.
After about an hour of bounceing towards the warehouse the egg bounced in from an open window and towards where it knew Jude would come out of his jump. Bounceing happly again it stay'd in one spot, bounceing of course, and just as suddenly, on the downwards movement of one of the bounces, everything almost popped and regained it's normal color. With that the world began to move again and life resumed it's course, all with the Egg bounceing in the warehouse in front of where jude would end his jump.

Jude arrived from his jump in his safe, quiet ware-. Jude cursed. The warehouse wasn't silent, it was in fact, ringing with the sounds of the creature bouncing directly in front of him. Jude jumped to the other side of the room and looked back across. It was still there. He glared, his unshielded red eyes bright. He was no doubt wishing that he could burn the little creature up with his eyes. "I'd say you were the devil except that I know him personally." Jude was positive now that the Thing was sentient. How in hell it managed to get here before he did was puzzling...or rather, how it even managed to get here was puzzling. Telepathy? It certainly wasn't unheard of. Jude sighed and resigned. "Okay. so what are you here for?" Jude winced as another twang echoed. "Could you please stop the d**n bouncing?" He doubted if the thing responded well to antagonistic behaviour..but honestly, Jude was past caring.

The egg continued to bounce merryly in the warehouse. It's bounces countinued to echo off the walls.
((if you want you can do the conversation about the egg with Jude's master. Just make sure to stress it's impotance and inform him not to let it die.))

((Okay...I'll try. I dont' know much about the egg though.)) Jude stuffed the ear plugs back in his ears and glared menacingly at the egg. It would be very easy indeed to just pull out his gun and pull the trigger. And it would mean the end to all this insanity. Jude's eyes flashed with a sudden light, and a smile crept over his face. It wasn't a very nice smile. Closing his eyes he reached out to somone he knew was always listening..even if his master remained silent. "God in heaven...I'll bet you could do somethign about this thing..right?" And then came the familiar pain in his gut...very familiar and very, very painful. "Nice to see you're back." Jude said, his voice coming out as a hiss because of the loss air. "You have no faith, Judas...He wouldn't listen to you anyway, not after what you did." The pain caused mentally was far greater than the physical pain. "You've made your point." "Have I? I think not..." The statement was punctuated by another stab in the gut that made Jude fall to his knees. "Does your allegiance still waver?" "No....master." Jude conceeded, gasping for air. " Good, then listen...the Egg that found you, it is of great importance. Allow it's death and you become expendable." "What am I supposed to do with it..I can't understand it." He did not add that the noise would drive him over the edge. "If you wanted to undestand it...you could. It's only a matter of listening." Jude sighed as the voice trailed off, leaving him kneeling on the floor, his breath still coming heavy. He lifted his head and glanced across at the Egg. "Looks like I can't kill you yet."

((thats fine, of course trying to understand it is like trying to understand a 5-year-old... so don't hope for much xp ))
The egg's bounceing became faster and more upbeat while Jude conversed with his master. After the conversation it let out another squeek and continued to bounce around happly.
From up in the rafters, several dozen eyes watched both from the shadows. After the conversation the spider, a small black one with red lineing over it, climbed up to the roof and out though a vent to the top of the warehouse. From there a small groupe of wasps flew next to it and slowly lifted up the spider, who had curled into a ball, and headed off to the forest.

((How does it communicate then? And trust me..understanding a 5 year old isn't that hard. xd It's the two year olds that give you trouble))Jude watched the Egg...a look of disgust plastered on his face. His life rested on this "thing". If it wasn't already obvious, he wasn't happy. In all honestly, the thing reminded him of a bird someone he knew made a pet of once. The d**n thing would screech it's head off all day and make a huge mess. It was finally sold..and the next person who owned it actually killed it. Served the thing right was Jude's opnion. "What are you so happy about?" He finally asked the Egg. " You like the fact that I got chewed out?"

((Give it time, it's like moster rancher, the cool stuff only comes with time... either way it won't get too intresting until more people join. For now it's pretty much attached to the hip of Jude.))
Ian sat quietly at the top of the church. He had felt a small ripple in the fabric of reality but the only thing that made that kind of ripple died out when the world was delved into chaos. Or at least Ian hoped so...

Jude watched the Egg for a moment. "Well guess what? I don't really give a cr*p. I'm tired, and I'm going to sleep." It was obvious that he wasn't exactly open to learning how the Egg communicated. Jude was exhausted, so much so, he nearly fell into the bed. "If you so much as make one twang, I might just forget how worthless my life will be with you dead." Jude closed his eyes as if daring the Egg to make his day.

Ian sat on a park bench looking out at the dead trees, grass, and bushes that used to once be filled with life. Sighing he stood up and pulled a list out from his sleeve. Reading down it for several moments he sighed and opend a portal, walking through, to a small back ally in the city. Looking down at another person laying in a pool of their own blood he kneeled and slowly drained the last of their life out of them.
Walking away he felt the person's soul fly upwards to heaven and Ian allowed himself a breif smile.
"At least some people can find happyness..."

A surge behind him, Ian felt it, a massing of shadows forming a portal as their creator stepped though. For a moment it seemed like Ian hadn't noticed, but one sudden movement later and a spinning sythe embbeded in the wall said otherwise. Ian slowly turned to face who had appered behind him. As he turned his eyes were cold, empty pits of darkness that periced even the night itself. His face slowly fromed a small smile and he fully faced the stranger.
"Hello.... Tren.... to what do I owe the honor."
Tren cocked an eyebrow at Ian and sighed. Putting a gloved hand up to his forhead he sighed and looked stright though his fingers at Ian.
"You know just as well as I do why I'm here..... Ian... we need to talk.
I know what your going to say Ian.... and the responce is no... as I said last time, I don't want to be death... never have never will...
"IAN DAMMIT THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU! THIS IS ABOUT WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS!"
Ian remained calm as he yanked his sythe out of the wall and pulled it back to himself.
"in case you haven't noticed Tren... the world is royaly ******** as it is.... whats haveing an active death going to matter in the long run...."
"Ian I've said this before and time and time again..... The world needs a death... and you are the only one that can fill that void now.... if you don't...."
"What?..... you'll kill me..."
Ian laughed at his bad joke, but the laugh was hollow and cold. Opening a portal he began walking thought. As the chaotic enegrys swirled about Tren watched him slowly move though.
"Soon.... you won't have a choice."
With that the portal closed and Tren was left standing in an empty allyway with a dead body.

It seemed as if, for once, the Egg was going to comply. It didnt' really matter, Jude was asleep before the Egg coould make another twang. Contrary to popular theory, Corrections do actually need sleep, just not as much as a mortal would. And Jude was having his. And they do dream....unfortunately, that's probably one thing Jude at least can live without. His dreams are just reoccurences of his last few days as a mortal. Not pretty to be sure. Jude still doesn't understand why he did it...even now it doesn't make a bit of sense in his mind. Greed was a huge factor, but in all honesty, they didnt' really give him enough. Jude woke, rested, restored...and still in the company of the ever-present Egg.

A Cold dark voice in Jude's mind slowly began to speak to him. It was diffrent from the voice that normall commanded Jude yet similar in it's own unique way.
'Go to the chruch at the edge of the town, you are needed there.'

Jude sat up, alarmed, and stared at the Egg...listening. "A church...." He looked around the room even though he knew that the voice had been like his master's in the fact that it spoke inside his head. He doubted that it had been the Egg...in fact....he was pretty sure that it couldn't have come from the egg. "You're not my Boss...however, he's not making any objections at the moment so I guess that means I'm free to choose. However...unless I'm going to kill somebody....I'm not gonna be happy once I get there." Jude was grumbling, his voice low and hardly distinguishable. However, he grabbed a spare sleeveless jacket from his and headed out the door, the Egg trailing after no doubt. He wasn't exactly paying it much attention.
