Preventer Void GI: I respect others' opinions and all, but trust me, as someone who's been a part of that kind of romance, I can tell you that it's certainly not fun to live with, even if you consider it fun to read about. Une: Honestly, that fanfic idea is pretty dumb; the government has no right to force someone to marry, and I'm just personally opposed to any fic that has people committing adultery like that. As for other fics, I read one that was pretty interesting. It basically turned several aspects of GW on their head. The identities of the Gundam Pilots became public knowledge, and the boys end up becoming...well...the AC versions of people like Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. XD In the meantime, Relena leaves the government so she can go to college; but since she actually studies and does her homework, she's labelled a nerd and becomes very unpopular. Even worse, because she doesn't go ga-ga over the boys, the other girls think she's crazy or gay, never realizing that she and Heero have made love in the past. It's on Blissful Ignorance if you want to find it, but be warned that it gets a bit lemony. I didn't mean that I, personally, would like to see them like that. I just can't see any canon way for them to go one way or the other. I honestly can't imagine them just "admitting their feelings" and getting on with it, but they're definently on a greater level of the love/infatuation stage, so any fiction that has them end up with different people has to be handled very delicately to be believeable.

That's part of the reason why stories that have Relena "moving on" and getting with Trowa bother me; it isn't really moving on to persue someone who is just like the last person you were attracted to. If they commented that her attraction to Trowa was a subconscious expression of her repressed feelings for Heero, fine, but having her dump Heero entirely for Trowa? It's just plain illogical.

Preventer Void That's part of the reason why stories that have Relena "moving on" and getting with Trowa bother me; it isn't really moving on to persue someone who is just like the last person you were attracted to. If they commented that her attraction to Trowa was a subconscious expression of her repressed feelings for Heero, fine, but having her dump Heero entirely for Trowa? It's just plain illogical. o_o;; Yeah I dont' see how or why Trowa..... that one makes very little sense.

Well if you look at my name, I think you'll know my answer.
I could come up with a million reasons why they'd stick together. Sure, it might not be marriage or a relationship but they'll always have feelings for each other and possibly be close.
Also, even if they don't for some odd reason, I'll still believe they do. Heh, I'm a fangirl so I get to believe whatever I want and write ficcies about whatever I want. ^^

And now I'm randomly resurrecting the topic! Why? Well, I looked up and read the previous comments and have watched a bit more of Destiny since then. *sighs* Remember, the Yuna/Cagalli dilemma? Possibly, could Relena get caught up in a similar sitiuation? I mean Athrun was protecting Cagalli just like Heero's protecting Relena at the end of the EW graphic novel. Could one of the old ESUN codgers take an interest in the former queen of the world and arrange something? Just an assumption based on Destiny. A "what if there was a 2nd season?' analogy if you will.

Heero and Relena will always be with each other nothing's going to stop that, period. They start to feel a conneciton with each other during the series, and after then Heero has been making sure that Relena is alright, showing his commitment to her. Of course it never shows them officially get together, but everyone should know that they did. Although both of them may be busy with their own duties and assignments, Heero always finds some time to be with her, even though it is only a short while. It's obvious that in the future they'll settle down together.
