we wear hats w/ plumes except for the tubas and pit, they wear berets

We wear black shakos with black plumes. They're old, but still good. C: However, then have gold on the front, not silver eagles or whatever, but I'm not quite certain what the shape is. Like rays on a triangle or something. o.o Oh, and we don't have metal chains on our chins. >.< We have sensible straps that stay under our chins to actually keep the shakos ON OUR HEADS. s n o w

 weird looking hats and real plumes. lol our director wouldn't stop laughing at the bands with 'confetti plumes' but then they all laugh at us for being different

We wear hats with plumes. Plumes that look like dead cats, and hats that are supposed to keep the sun out of our eyes and the rain off our faces, but do neither.
In fact, you can't see with the damn things on, they get itchy because the girls have to tuck their hair up under them, and the rain pretty much rolls down the brims and then splats into our eyes. They. SUCK.
