(S'alright, I understand.)
Lyra followed them, temporarily borrowing a few of Timiln's powers. She flowed behin her traveling companions as a mist, mingled with the vapors swirling in the dark sky.

Kamiss looked behind him, twisted and almost fell as he saw that Lyra was gone. when he recognized her as the mist, he straightened and continued bounding to another building. "There." he said, stopping and pointing. "If there are any survivors, or remaining technology, they will be there." He indicated the miltiary structure, the one building towering over the rest of the dark cityscape.

Lyra did not change, didn't make a noise, but understood. She floated forward, slowly coalescing into human form again, with Timiln beside her.

Kamiss' body spamsed as a black bolt struck him mid-leap. He looked down, seeing the ground swarming with black creatures. "More demons." He called, and instead of continued to evade, he leapt towards them, making a half-strangled giggle sound.

Eyes glaring at the black beats, Lyra dove, swirling the spear she had almost forgotten in their haste. She stabbed one creature through where it's heart should have been, yanking upwards with a sharp cry.

Kamiss slashed and cut them down with apparent glee, something not quite right with them. He spun in a circle, blade flat, crushing demons and sending them into walls. HE split his sword into two, mowing them down in a frenzy. Then he stumbled, but none were around to take advantage. What the hell'd I get us into? Kamiss asked. Too late now. Zero was suddenly beside him, a third black arm reaching out from his chest longer than it should have, stretching, and crushing the skull of a demon. "What were you thinking?" Zero hissed between clenched teeth. Kamiss then cried out, sharp pain in his heart, back, head and left leg, and he crumpled, losing time.

(You have no idea how much i love your wings! <3 <3 <3)
Lyra stabbed outward, left and right, behind her, in front, above. She didn't care what or where she hit, she was caught up in the very frenzy of attacking. She let out a gutteral cry, more animal than human, that Timiln echoed from somwheer behind her. Then the horse plunged through the sahdowy ranks, raging water foaming from her hooves, flooding out their adversaries.

Kamiss was barely aware as Lyra nearly stabbed him, rushing around. His body was unmoving, but his mind was awake. "LET ME GO!!!!" He screamed to the darkness inside his mind. But you are our father. Our mother is the demons you killed. The image of his own two swords floated in front of him. We are not your darkness, only the result. Kamiss struggled to break free, and then realized they were not doing this. They wanted to help him. WE WILL GUIDE YOU. They boomed. Kamiss' eyes opened.

Stepping close to Kamiss, Lyra could feel a wave of something dark and sinister. She could not understand it, but it frightenend her. So she stepped away, spear held high, eyes bright with the fever of war. She felt Timiln's pain as sharp claws raked across her scales, and her footsteps faltered. She crouched, wincing, with the wood of her spear blocking her countenance in a sort of weak shielding.

Kamiss stood beside her suddenly, and Zero on her other side. Kamiss' head was pounding, but he could now ignore. He didn't know how long, but any amount of time was worthwhile. The blades poured their strength into him, allowing him to continue. He and Zero dashed forward at great speed, moving in a circle around Lyra, their blades working circles also. Demons fell like never before, constantly hacked to the ground.

With a voiceless thank-you in her eyes, Lyra took her time, regenerating. She didn't take long, and was soon back on her feet, ready to fight with the people she knew were truly her friends. Timiln by her side, a low growl erupting from her slim frame.
Ready.

Kamiss grabbed Zero's forearm, and Zero Lyra's. They all knew what to do. Kamiss threw the two into the air, turning in a circle to bash away surrounding enemies. Zero threw Lyra to Kamiss' other side, and he started moving at lightning speed, weaving a shield of attacks around Kamiss, blocking and attacking where Kamiss was busy. Lyra landed in a deserted spot, high up from the battle, where she pointed her spear and shot huge shards of ice into swarms beggining to grow look a bit more threatening. With Kamiss slashing out mainly, Zero defending him, and Lyra's support fire, they were still outnumbered 400 to one. The demons never stood a chance.

(O_O I can shoot ICE? *cheers*)
Gazing out at the carnage before her, Lyra ceased fire. The demons had fallen under the new magic, combined with the strength and bravery of Kamiss and Zero. She leapt down, gracefully, and landed at Kamiss' feet.
"Next?"

"We-" Kamiss stopped putting forth his opinion. The sky was darkening. Alarmingly. He looked up, and the sun was spinning. It seemed to harden, taking on the form of another moon. "What the-" He broke off again as the sun went back to normal. "What in the hell was that???" (This will be explained later, preferably over PM, as it won't come in the story for at least 10+ pages.)

(Oho, plot twist.) "Obviously, it wasn't good. I think we should move. Somewhere out of the open. Safer, if possible."
Lyra let out a short, humorless laugh and rested a shaking hand on Timiln's cold scales.
