The crowd is reaching a pitch as the two of them battled on top of the ladder, each man meeting strike for strike. Blaze's strike made his head snap back as he sunk down on the ladder to keep his balance.
As Blaze came face to face with him, he glared at him and looked to grab onto Blaze's head and slam him face first onto the top of the ladder.

Salem managed to cut Marcus off with his Cutter, but Blaze and Eryn continued feuding over the ladder! Trying to roll towards the opposite side, "Showtime" would struggle to climb up it unnoticed as the others were inconvenienced or incapacitated!

Blaze's face hits the ladder unexpectedly, though he manages to hang on to keep himself on the ladder, narrowly

The crowd gasped as Blaze's head struck the ladder. They had seen quite a bit of brutality in the match, but this was getting a bit out of hand. Thinking he had Blaze immobilized enough, he would look to continue his climb.

Blaze isn't that far out of it. As Erynys reaches for the belt, Blaze attempts to catch him with a body blow to the ribs

The shot hit him square in the ribs and knocked the breath out of him. He started to sway on the ladder as his body began to crumble from the force of the blow.

Blaze steps up again and goes to grab Erynys by the throat, aiming to chokeslam him off the ladder

He felt the panic build within him as he felt the hand on his throat. This was it. If Blaze succeeded in slamming him off the ladder, there was no stopping Blaze from bringing down the titles.
His mind raced as he thought of how to free himself. In a act of pure desperation, he looked to lash out and lock in his version of the Tongan Death Grip.

Blaze finds himself caught in the Tongan Death Grip on top of the ladder. However, the champion refuses to fully release his choke hold either, alas inciting a struggle between the two big men

The unstoppable force verus the immovable object high above the ring. Neither man wanted to relinquish their respective holds, knowing full well what to do so would mean.
He decided to climb up the remaining steps to the very top of the ladder, thinking to use the slight variation in height to his advantage to free himself, but to no avail.
He then looked to break the hold by clubbing Blaze's arm away repeatedly before trying to slam Blaze's face into the ladder again.

Blaze struggles to hold on, realizing how close they are to losing the titles. but a few shots to the arm forces him to release his grip before his face meets the top of the ladder again, leaving him slumped slightly as he struggles to remain on the ladder

Salem had been struggling to get up the ladder, but Blaze and Eryn jockeying for position on the other side made it that much harder! Trying to keep his balance, "Showtime" stayed on the middle rungs as best he could, hoping his partner could take advantage of the situation!

He coughed as the hold was finally released. He looked up at the titles just in reach to the beaten form of Blaze, down to Marcus and then down to his partner. He surveyed the landscape as a wicked sneer came to his face.
He reached down and hooked his opponent with a double underhook and would then look to send himself and Blaze crashing down to earth into the chair with a avalanche spike DDT that he called Protocol 11.

Blaze's bell was rung with the repeated shots to the head, and it's only going to get worse as Erynys takes him off the ladder with a spike DDT, from the ladder onto the chair. the crowd erupts as the masked man's head hits the steel and bounces off, leaving him sprawled out on the mat below

The crowd went wild as Eryn spiked Blaze off the ladder onto the chair, "Showtime", himself, cheering on the spectacle! This was their moment! If Salem could get to the top of the ladder, he could grab the belts down! Climbing higher, the fans chanted and shouted with enthusiasm, watching every step!
