Rey would slowly but surely get to his feet on the apron, using the ropes for assistance. He'd turn his attention to HBK and grab a hold of the top ropes..

Shawn would eventually get to his feet and slowly turn his attention to Rey Mysterio who was now on the outside of the ring on the apron!

Rey would jump onto the top set of ropes and use them as leverage to jump again, even higher, and looked to crash down onto HBK with a Diving Headbutt!

HBK was hit with the Diving Headbutt and fell to the canvas back-first appearing lifeless on the mat.

Rey would hit the headbutt and be on the canvas breathing heavily now, exhausted. He'd see HBK looking as if he was knocked out from that last move so he would crawl over to him and hook the leg!

"1!...2!.." Was all the referee could get out before Shawn Michaels was able to show signs of life by kicking out before the count of 3!

Rey would roll off of HBK after feeling him kick out. He slowly rolled to a nearby set of ropes and used the bottom ropes as leverage to sit up. He'd be breathing heavily staring at HBK as this match has taken a toll on him so far.

HBK would be on the canvas staring up at the lights beginning to show the wear and tear of this match. He'd slowly roll to his front side.

Rey notices HBK starting to show signs of life and would grab the top set of ropes, using them to slowly bring him to his feet.

HBK would then gradually make his way to all fours, and then to his feet soon after, still woozy.

Rey saw that HBK was still not completely there in the head and ran towards him, leaving the mat, jumping and looking to catch HBK with an acrobatic headscissors directing him to a nearby second set of ropes!

HBK would be caught with the headscissors and throw head first onto the second set of ropes, now slouched over them.
