He could probably tell in his head without even looking that she wasn't buying it. He knew how he smelled. He smelled like a whole damn bar. Of course it was more than one shot, but he just didn't want to talk about it. A favorite line that they both like to use. Probably why they were having issues now. He wasn't really concerned about it though. He was concerned more about the bruised ribs that he had. How did he get that? The voice decided to force him on the mission he would use.....some extreme measures. He didn't tell Blair this because that's a style of justice that wasn't needed. Too much trouble. Besides the coins in the end be more worth the trouble. Question was, what were they suppose to be finding here? He expected a pot shot. He expected the same cold b*****d that he learned to groom and protect ever sense she was 18 and he first met her. Nothing of the romance. He was trying kill her father. Ironic who ended up taking that cool.
We don't even gotta stress anymore, tell the streets that I will never give up
His face softened a little as he turned towards her. Always? That was, an interesting answer with an interesting tone. Even through the disguise, it still showed the tone of vulnerability. Rare honesty. Oh s**t, was she doing this now? Why not..you know, any other time! While focused, it seemed they both were distracted some what. He wanted to know more. He wanted to pry. He wanted say ******** this mission and get some answers because it was that important to him. However, he knew that he couldn't. That was not how they were wired and there was no room for that in their profession. Instead, he changed the subject back to the rugrats below. This brought a plan from the blonde. Hades smiling behind the mask. The smile stayed, waiting for her to finish. She stated she saw something? What did she mean? His passive semblance would show him the truth. Seeing the faint red glow, he was embarrassed. How did he not see it? Was he really that distracted?
Buckle your seat belt I ready to drill and Just like a ghost, I give you the chill
Receiving the gifts from their hired hand, he would look at them and made sure to take easy care of them. Seeing her devilish smirk which she made sure to show, his eye color grew darker. Something for another time. There she was. The devilish Bonnie to his Clyde. She was truly enjoying this. He might as well also! Going over to the edge, he would set the devices, not even bothering to look below the foggy layer. Shame. They probably was gonna die by grim. All 6 planted near the edge, once they try climb up, they would end up going off and sending them back down. Of course, he made sure they were obscure and hard to see. Not like really would see them while climbing up anyways. Unless you got a special semblance like he did. Or something strange occurred. Just how vision works. Normally he set another trap, but unneeded. They probably had more gadgets in their bags. With the trap set, he looked over to Blair, starting to head over to the clue while hearing an echo of gun shots. "Poor kids"
40 to his mouth, I gun him down now he can't get up

There wasn't time to worry about whether or not a hit had occured. It seemed that they had company. Luckily for him, he was the odd man out of the situation and didn't have any grim to worry about. At least, not directly. Fran was following Prince, but as the dust settled and everything started to become clear, he could see that she was left being caught up with a Grim. A big one. He would jump towards the end of the cave, off to the side where his spider limbs could hold him in place above like a spider. That lady wasn't running her mouth again and his hatred was making him want to shoot her more but the sound of Fran neutralized that. He hated Auburn, but he cared about his teammate more. Plus his nature put others above himself was starting to show back up. Analyzing the battlefield, he would look around see what would help. He could use the cave to damage the grim by having some rocks fall on it, but it would be risky. He didn't need Fran get hurt which made him not go for that idea.
When Fran was knocked down, Prince immediately jumped into action from a distance. Reloading his Venom's bite, his aura would glow. A purple glow came around his body before concentrating on his guns. Covering for her to get up, Prince would fire several shots towards the Grim. His bullets packing a harder punch due to them having more mass added to them. "We not dying here Fran! Get Up!" he yelled before staying to the wall of the cave. Using his spider limbs to move in a dash on the cave of the wall, he would fire more shots, using his spatial awareness for the shots to pass by Fran's body as she move. Each strike, be followed by a bullet perfectly passing by the natural gaps. So Grim had deal with a slash, then shot, then slash, then another shot. Reloading, his semblance would be on cool down and he noticed the Grim was pulling back. Was it trying retreat? Hardly. It was reanalyzing the situation. It looked more serious. While he was sure Fran was talented, he wasn't going to just not do anything and leave the clash of strength up to chance.
He was about to burn a whole crystal. But for his teammate it was going be well worth it. Looking at the Beowolf prepare, he would throw the crystal towards the beowolf in which it would be straight in its path. As it scratched the ground and charged at Fran with full force, he would aim his next shots at the crystal. The shot placed so it would hit the crystal right as the beowolf would be hovering over it. When this occured, an explosion of ice would happen next, having the beowolf right at ground zero. Of course, he didn't calculate how big explosion would be. Still, if everything went as planned, hopefully give enough time for Fran get lethal blow on it. If not, then...well he was at a lost. He was only protecting her. Everyone else, until he completely calmed down, could die in a hole.

Unlike Fran's hardships, some of the others are having a better time with their fights. She looks at the others for a brief moment and immediately focused back on her opponent. With Prince weaving shots at the grimm, that attacks seem to work, as the Grimm momentarily backs off. This can't be further from that truth, as it begins to growl and leer at Fran. It's preparing itself for a charge, faster and stronger than Fran could handle. If the last charge that she blocked can already knock her down, the damage from a full power charge would be devastating. Fran knew she wouldn't be able to block it, or dodge it. She herself was locked into attacking, and if this is her last options, she'll go all out as well. It was then that Prince threw a crystal and shot at it. "A chance!" Fran thought as she charges in towards the charging beowulf. Her sword in sheathe, her hand prepared. She'll get hit in the blast, and if her gamble doesn't work, she'll take the full weight of the beowulf, almost 150% the speed. As the crystal explodes, Fran's left hand presses the trigger, launching her Sword, she catches it in her right hand and uses her semblance. "Unfortunate, always" Fran mutters.
Auburn grabbed a small outcropping of rock from the wall as the air around her began to shimmer before a corona of bloody crimson surrounded her and her eyes glowed a bright icy blue. She kept walking, snapping the stone off the wall, finding two more. Looking around, she could see other Grimm starting to climb up out of who knew where. As a pair went after the new kid, she hurled one of the stones she had intended to deal with the three assaulting Dee, aiming for the head of the larger Grimm, knowing the New Kid was no match for it. She then lobbed the other two at two of the Grimm going after Dee. If any hit, they'd be absolutely devastating to the Grimm they hit, if not, they'd shatter violently as they hit the walls.
As the last stone left her hand, she turned to face the new largest threat she'd noticed and eyed from the moment it crawled out, calmly walking forward still until it crossed her path. Clearly singling her out as the greatest threat for the Grimm assembled. She held her sword against her shoulder, watching the Grimm facing her. It was waiting for her to move first. They stood, eyeing each other twenty feet apart. In the span it took one to blink, Auburn had closed the distance between it and her, her knee aiming for the crotch of the hulking beast as she brought her sword down in front of her to act as a shield. Either she would use it to deflect an incoming blow should the Grimm actually have the speed to react to hers, or, ideally, if it did not, she would ram it with the flat of her massive sword.
Weapon(s): Judgement is a massive sword that is 77" long, 14" wide and weighs 54 lbs, but, has no unique properties other than that. Auburn is able to wield this beast of a blade, even one-handed, because of her Semblance.
However, her boots and gauntlets are equipped with mini cannon-like guns that fire off dust rounds. (See Mission for image of gauntlets and boots)
Suddenly, a heavy presence was overwhelming in the area. A woman who exuded a hellish aura walked through the current battle, not even giving any of them a second of her attention. The woman was draped in attire that resembled something from almost another land, the paintings on her body only gave her a more terrifying look and her face was beautiful, yet stern. The bright red colour of her hair would blind even the worst of visions.
Walking slowly through as the battle took place and the students attempted to survive against their opponent, she wouldn't be bothered by the Grimm.. were they too busy having made their aim, or were they too afraid of her?
A large axe that glimmered with red sat upon her back, just from looking at it you would know that it had seen many a fight and ended many a life. She looked behind her for a brief moment as she continued her walk, if watching her it would almost seem slow motion, she wasn't an enemy you wanted to have.
Getting to the head of the cave, she stopped and looked up. She was evidently on a mission, there for a reason. She could be seen speaking into a scroll, evidently reporting the scenario to someone. Her voice was menacing, and not easy to understand. "Aye, the wee minger's gon' an made this a gleeket one.." she said, looking around at the collapsed cave. The students didn't even exist to her in the area right now, she was looking for something, and she would get it.
The Apex was ready...

— Hey Auburn... we really need to get out of here... These Beowulves aren't gonna let up. Sky would say to her as he would fend off an attack from one of the Beowulves, pushing and slashing at them away from him. This dimly litted cave as well as it being too closed off was a terrible way to fight. Sky had little to no leverage room to make good swings, if he didn't want to get his sword caught on the walls mid swing, and leave himself open. If the others can get out while Sky and Auburn can fight, it would be better for all of them to escape. Of course, they still have to worry about the rest of the Grimm following after. It actually amazes him that she can fight with an equally just as large sword. This feeling... Auburn, I think something REALLY bad is coming our way. H-huh!? Right out of nowhere, this lady with weird clothes and evennweirder markings on her body. To others, she would just be some strange woman with a Scottish accent. To Sky, she was the very devil herself, and the one person he would devote his entire life to see her severed head with Kamui's sword. Apex.. Sky would mutter anxiously as he would stand in place with his sword down. There was nothing he coupld possibly do, as if the Grimm around them weren't even there. All that Sky could do was hatefully glare at her back. The sheer look on all these Grimm were something that was unknown. Usually Grimm would be attracted to negative emotions, but with Apex, they're scared of her very own presence. And as much as he didn't want to admit it, Sky was just as scared. His hands would tremble as he would stand there, not even budging or speaking. —
Reikka has been fighting close to Fran the whole time. Though she couldn't exactly turn her back on three smaller beowolves lusting after her throat lest she let them have it, she threw glances every now and then to make sure Fran was still okay. When the wall belched its guts out, pouring the torrent of predators at their wake, she shielded the majority of the students and kept most of them at bay by swinging wildly in their direction, spinning her staff after unsheathing it from its strap. It was rather hard getting around her, along with a bunch of other students who fended off the incoming wave. But soon the wave of wolves grew tired of the hunter's games, and decided that picking the students off systematically would be a better approach. The bloodthirsty creatures broke formation and picked off the big ones with bigger wolves and small wolves with the most vulnerable. But apparently Reikka's small and nimble form was harder to pick off then they expected, prompting them to put two more wolves infront of her in response to her feisty and bruising swings. Reikka did not relent nor slow down, but she knew she had to stop at some point in order to use her semblance without any interruptions. And she had no room to stop her barrage of attacks, seeing as they would be eager for her to stop anytime in order to lunge and sink their fangs into her exposed neck.
It was then that Reikka witnessed the whole cavern, or what was left of it, become a battleground. She had read so many books and legends about how the fight against the Grimm unfolded in grand scales, but this was the first time she had any vestige of an idea of how it even went. At the corner of her eye she saw a large wolf as it broke off from the rest and began stalking Fran, looking at her with dilated pupils and a mouth coated and dripping in wolf spit. On the fourth time she looked back in order to look at how the others were taking it, she saw Usien, the still salty one, disengage a grenade and threw it towards where Fran was, determined to save her by putting an end to the large wolf before her. "Fran, watch out!" She cried, making sure she kicked the loaded thing in the right direction rather than have it explode on her instead. Then she ran in the opposite direction from where the wolves were, shouting, "Everyone, duck!" Just as her kick launched it in the right direction it. A large flash erupted from the point of origin, prompting her to shield her eyes as soon as the thing exploded. When the light cleared, the wolf was encased fully in ice. She guessed they didn't need to worry about that one. She then turned around to see the full image of the battle before her, the students struggling to keep up with the hungry predators, and their cries of rebellion as they charged on without a second thought. Reikka did not feel fear, as her adrenaline was pumping too fast to feel anything other than the fight or flight response coursing through her veins.
She saw Auburn getting cornered by another wolf as big as the one that circled Fran, equally as nasty-looking and hungry for fear that now wafted across the underground system. "Damnit...!" She muttered under her breath as she continued to fight. Then a woman in odd garments and tribal tattoos would trudge into the battle, exuding an aura she had never quite felt before; it was almost an aura of fearlessness. But she wasn't afraid of her, quite the contrary, she felt rather curious rather than afraid. Who was this lady? She did not notice her till now, but she did see her familiar frame somewhere before. Just before everyone seemed to pause, including the Grimm themselves upon gazing at her menacing presence, she got back up and smacked one of the wolves as hard as she could at the back of its head, causing it to whine in protest and run away, "Snap out of it! Find an opening and get us out of here!" She would scream at the top of her lungs, trying to wake everyone up from this unusual circumstance. The wolves did not like this, and eyed her with ferocity, but still seemingly detracted and subdued by the other lady's aura. Her shouts seemed to echo across the cavern, attempting to jolt the students back to reality and breaking the hypnotic state that everyone seemed to be in when the lady in red walked in.

" I.. Hate.. Healing...." See thought to himself as his skin slowly removed, his coco brown skin slowly creeping over his exposed muscle. The Feeling of his sin stretching over the bleeding was madding to put it simple it drove him up the wall with the unpleasant feeling. He wanted to scratch at it, rip his claws into his own flesh. Centimeter after centimeter felt like bugs clawing all over his leg. Dees pistol ships back into his Dee's eyes shits to the ash the First Grimm turned into ash before him, without wasting much time Dee spin his blade around in his hand and rubbed it against his wounded leg turning the gold blade bloody red. The blood dripped from the hungry blade as he eyed up the two remaining Grimm. As they charged following suit Dee charged right back at them no longer paying any mind to his leg as his left his reached out for his second blade. Lifting that crimson blade in his right hand over his head before striking down at the Grimm charging him from the right, the blade sinks into grimm's arm lobbing it off right before it made contact with his sides. The Grimm lost balance from the swipe and with sliding to the cave ground behind him. But Dee was not so lucky with the Grimm on his left using his arm to block to attack. Feeling the claw pierce into his muscle ripping him apart. Using his left clawed up arm Dee reached out and grabs the Grimm returning the favor and digging his fingers into it. Dee wanted to scream but he couldn't. Jumping up bringing up the hilt of his sword into the air he slams it down into the Grimm head again and again, each hit forcing it back more and more, making it kneel. Dees attack were fast and brutal. The Grimm face begins to crack chipping. Dee just wanted to break something to take his mind off of the creeping pain, anything would do and the poor Grimm was stuck in his grip. Dees body was open for attack. Pressing his fingers in deeper and deeper into the Grimm. Something in the back of Dees mind was telling him to look away from the Grimm for a moment and take the time to locate where that pressure of the back of his neck was, but it was not targeted at him so another blow connected to the Grimm head. Dees Khopesh was stabbed into the ground behind the Grimm. Dee could not speak but his actions spoke loud enough for him. Dees eyes glowing a cold gold in the darkness waiting for the grimm to attack back. Quickly Dee chops off the Grimm right arm the moment it moved it before slapping the hilt against the Grimm head again.

[Quick reminder: you can control these beowolves, just don't dust/kill them, I will decide which ones die and which ones live, so each beowolf will have a mixture of me controlling them and you controlling them for this mission. Feel free to message me on discord if you want to dust one and I can approve it through message. If you do not want to control them at all that is fine too, no worries! If I put something in brackets it means you cannot change it though.]
[First two people who want to climb may do so by rolling a d10 die (10 sided) -- you will add your post count to the roll. If your roll total is 25 or more you move up half of the wall. You need to succeed at least twice to climb up the wall. Once two people have done so the wall will be properly prepped to easily allow the rest of the teams to scale the wall. Your climbing roll must be done here on gaia, and its basically your character using the climbing equipment in your exploration bag to place nails and climbing contraptions on the wall with rope. You got to prepare a rope for the rest of the team to climb up. If you have something that makes you climb better you can message me on discord and I will approve a slight boost to increase your chances of success climbing]
Sky (Some Auburn) ▬ The beowolf with broken fangs [20 post count/0.2 LV], was likely about to push for a lethal bite to Sky's neck just as a massive stone crushed into its face knocking it back. Allowing Sky to make his moves. It was good that Auburn had his back or he may not have survived that encounter. The beast was enraged that Sky managed to escape. He was a tad injured, but he made it nonetheless. The creature would regroup with its frail companion [post count 5]. These two had it out for Sky for some unknown reason. The bulk of the beowolf horde completely cut the students from turning back towards the entrance, which was over an hours walk away anyways. The students would surely die if they didn't start trying to scale the wall very soon. The two beowolves kept a bit of distance, but would soon resume their attack. For now they were a few of a massive horde keeping the students locked in the cave with a cliff to their back. escaping past a horde of powerful beowolves would be nearly impossibe and even if one could get past them horde there was no way they could outrun them for a smile. The only chance the students had was to climb up the cliff. When Apex entered the grimm seemed to hold back even more. They almost looked at her with reverence, but the bloodlust in their eyes hinted that they would attack her given the proper chance as well, but not right now.
Dee ▬ The beowolves and Dee were in full blown combat, up close and real, his blows were strong against the beowolves, but they were relentless. Two boulders flew out of nowhere and smashed into the walls near both grimm. If Dee was able to see Auburn he would recognize that she was the source. Unfortunately they missed their marks. The first one, even though it had a severed arm from Dee's earlier attack limped forwards as he was distracted with the one on his left. It opened its mouth wide and grabbed Dee's torso and shook him off its packmate just as its friend disintegrated into dust. It was now just Dee and a beowolf with only its left arm. The creature shook Dee like a ragdoll. Its fangs digging into Dee's abdomen before it tossed him. Dee's back slammed into the cliff wall. Fog rolled lazily over the wall and shrouded Dee for a moment causing the beowolf to hesitate. It whimpered, but stood still. Waiting for Dee to exit the waterfall of fog. Another large grimm approached from the horde behind [50 post count/LV0.5]. It has one eye that was missing; its left eye. And it stood beside the wounded packmate growling.
Blair & Hades ▬ From up above the dire situation below was but a mere clamoring of faint noise. It was almost peaceful. White noise to their villainy. Hades set the the explosives up easily. It was shocking how such deadly devices were so easily used. Easier then some children toys. Blair was a bit ahead of Hades of course, but they were both on their way to the glowing red object. When she arrived she could see a tiny sphere with a red light on it. It was made of metal and a strange bronze color with chrome lining. Once touched the object would start to beep loudly before popping open. Steam would flood out for a few seconds before they could see a note inside, which read:
"The cavern is dark up ahead, but at its depths you will find The Vault. To your right you will then see a small security building. Inside are some valuable items for your work. Take as much as you can, and then make yourself scarce. Take care, as the building might be rigged with some automated security devices.
~The Voice"
The object would then spit a little claw out which would snatch the letter and snap shut. The sphere's little red dot started to blink slowly, picking up pace with each beep. It was about to explode.
Auburn ▬ The "tusked" beowolf [LV 0.6/60 post count] was watching Auburn long before it entered the fight. It knew what she was capable of doing, not that Auburn or anyone else would know this. It merely watched her as she tossed her boulders. One hit its mark, two missed. It growled at her almost as if to laugh at her attempts to save her friends. Its growl was deeper then that of most beowolves. This was obviously an older and wiser one. The stare-down continued. The thick fog rolling past them as usual. It was almost peaceful. The still before the storm. That was until Auburn made the first move. Her speed was incredible, she made her way across the distance in a blink of an eye, but there was one issue. The ground was covered in fog. Just as she took one of her last few steps a spike of rough shale blocked her foot causing her to falter. This was all the beowolf needed. Its maw, drowning in saliva, opened wide and within a blink of an eye it chomped down hard. half a dozen fangs clamping down on her with a force so strong she wouldn't be able to break free. The creature chuckled deeply as it rushed forward happily with its prey securely in its mouth. It hopped up on the wall and with one more leap was able to make it to the top of the cliff. No human could do such since the cliff was so high, but this beowolf was quite large and powerful. Unfortunately it was unaware of the fact that motion detecting explosives had been laid up top. Two of them instantly sensed the beast and erupted into a sphere of flame that shot the tusked beowolf to the side, activating a third explosive which pushed it forwards [Beowolf takes 30 post hit to its 60 post count. Only requires a hit by someone with 30+ posts to destroy now]. The creature slammed across the cavern floor atop the cliff and rolled. Its jaw opened and released Auburn, who would feel her wounds opening and releasing an exuberant amount of blood. Auburn would fly out in the distance to the right. She was no isolated from the others. The only one on top of the cliff. The beast would take a moment to rise, but it would do so before Auburn could herself. The creature was severely injured, its left leg muscles twitched, but it held its ground looking towards where Auburn laid. Fortunately the fog had covered her already and the beowolf was unsure of her exact location [Roll a d10 on your next post, this is how much your post count is reduced by for the duration of this mission].
Fran & Prince (A little Reikka too) ▬ Fortunately Prince took notice and was helping her. The feral beast [50 post count/LV0.5] charged with a roar of absolute insanity. A grenade kicked from another direction slammed into it, slowing its pace down a bit, but the beast continued on with its charge; a move that would easily destroy a normal student, but just as it was about to slam into Fran a little dust crystal was tossed into the fray by her ally. It bounced lightly across the cavern floor a few times before finding a resting place between Fran and the monstrously powerful beowolf. Prince shot the crystal dead on, causing it to erupt into a flurry of ice which quickly solidified. The creature was frozen solid in the icy prison, but the ice began to crack. The creature crashed through the wall and onto the ground a bit dizzy just as Fran used her explosive sword draw to land a slash upon the beowolf which was now practically stumbling forward. The slash landed. [1+18+23 = 41 post count total to the 50 post count grimm; unlucky! -- Reikka's help allows you to finish it, but because you failed the roll I need to make something special happen anyways] The creature's head cocked back with the blow, and for a long moment time seemed to freeze, as if it was about to explode into dust, but this time its head shot back violently towards Fran. Mouth of razor sharp fangs opened wide. The creature grabbed Fran's body, one of its fang's ripping through her left bicep, but the rest of her entirely inside the confines of the creature's mouth. Prince could see the beast smile just before it swallowed. A Fran size lump moving down its throat. The beast then collapsed onto the ground exhausted from all the blows it had just taken. Most would have dusted by now, but this thing was a beast of beasts. It didn't seem like it was able to move, but it was still alive, albeit barely.
Reikka ▬ From out of the monstrous horde of grimm blocking the entrance. Two new beowfolves approached. They were still at a distance due to the presence of the new redhead, but they had their sights on Reikka [50 post count/LV0.5 each]. They were eager to made their move with drool leaking through the bottom of their maws. Their position made it clear Reikka was their target.
[Scale the wall ASAP to escape the infinite onslaught of grimm]
Auburn felt the stone just in front of her foot just before it tripped her. She managed to regain her footing and slammed into the beast, but, it sank it's fangs into her shoulder despite the massive sword held before her like a shield. She was not quite prepared for it to simply take off with her in it's mouth, but, she maintained her grip on her sword and started pummelling with her free hand, her semblance still active. She heard a crack before it scaled the wall. Next thing she knew, she was in the middle of more explosions and flung from the creature's mouth as they both sprawled out on the ground. Her ears rang, but, her hearing wasn't completely shot. She could see from her prone position the Grimm was standing in front of her, but, it seemed to have lost her. Ignoring the pain in her mauled shoulder, she grabbed it's ankle with her other hand and stood up, slamming it into the nearby wall and then the floor, back into another arc into the floor again before flinging it bodily into the mass of Grimm gathering on the fringes down below.
She wasted no time and shrugged off her pack, digging out a hammer, some climbing spikes, and her rope. She pinned a spike to the hammer's head as she gripped it, head in fist, and punched the spike in deep, hitting it twice more for good measure and followed with two more and secured the rope to it. She stood back up and kicked the rope down to the others and leapt down with her sword. Dee was nearby and was being attacked bey a grimm missing an arm and Auburn stepped up, kicking it in the head while lifting her sword with her good arm, ignoring the blood flow from her shoulder."Everybody! Up! Now! Prince! We'll settle things later, but get your s**t together or we're all done! Reikka, help PAWS. We need to be up there now!"
The sound of explosions behind her caused a smirk to come to her face, things were going according to plan. Why wouldn’t they? After all this was far from her and Hades’ first rodeo. This was not the hardest mission they had ever been on, or maybe it was? It was too soon to tell, however it didn’t matter, the two of them had gone through so many things and always wiggled their way out. Being the ‘bad guy’ had its perks. It was nice that their part of it all seemed to be going without any hiccups, their part of the cave was quiet and void of any grimm for the time being. Perhaps were she a better faunus she would help the ones down below struggling at the face of the grimm, yet she was not there for them, wither they managed to fight them off or die mattered not to her. The only thing the masked female cared for was to get the item their employer asked of them.
Of the two Blair would reach the sphere first, she wouldn’t say anything to Hades, she shouldn’t have too, he was supposed to have her back, they were partners in crime after all, she trusted that he would watch out as she dealt with the item before her. There were no instructions on it, and for a moment she hesitated wondering if she should indeed touch it, maybe it was a trap? Somehow she doubted the students could have done this as they were struggling with the grimm a ways a way. Carefully she would begin to pick it up however the box opened up once she touched it revealing a note from whoever had hired them. While her expressions were hid behind her disguise she frowned as a thought came to her mind.
If The Voice was able to put this here for us why couldn’t he have gotten the object himself? When did they put this here? There was something odd about all of this. It was… strange and she was unsure how to process it. Why were they needed if the employer had managed to put items to aid them on their way? However as she processed the last big of the information on the note it made a bit more sense. We are lab rats… they aren’t dumb enough to waste their own life over the risk of potential traps…
As soon as she finished reading the note it was sucked back into the sphere and a light began to flash. ”Time to move Bob.” Blair said to Hades as he met up with her. Without giving him any more than that she followed the instructions until reaching the so called Vault and as she did so she pointed to the facility to their right. ”There are items inside that the Voice said could be of use.. but it may be rigged.” She would wait and look at him, his semblance could potentially allow them to know of any traps or security measures to bypass.
It happened. Things were becoming worse and Prince couldn't honestly handle it anymore. Caffeine limit was gone. Adrenaline can only do so much and his fight and flight mechanism was telling him to ******** this. He did all he could. His willingness became dominant and the only important thing. He never wanted this. He didn't come here be a hunter. If he had more experience and time under his belt then maybe he could have a breakthrough. He did in a sense. His actions whether rational or irrational was breaking through a lot more than what he normally would do. Now what turned this hero back into a zero? His plan worked. For all it's purposes, it looked like everything was going according to plan. The grim was caught in ice and Fran got a hit in. But it wasn't enough! The grim whipped back and within grasp and jaws was a Fran. An unsettling sight. He didn't help. He didn't even fire a shot towards it which probably could of finished it. Instead, he made sure to take notice of his surroundings and location of others before taking to the objective. He needed a way out and it was obvious where to go. Towards the cave wall. Same one Auburn ended up jumping down from.
Already on one of the walls of the cave from his previous movements, he would rush over to the climb and hop off from one part of the cave to the next part . The way the cave was, he couldn't climb higher without relinquishing his position and going to the wall that had the rope draped down. It was also the area that Auburn was blasted up and jumped right back down. He didn't know much about what exactly happened with that situation, but that didn't stop him. His spider limbs keeping him connected to cave wall, he quickly scurried up the cave without issue. In fact, his movement was erratically fast, using his faunus trait which helped as a boost. Yeah, Auburn had called out a plan but why would he listen to her? Why listen to anyone? Why even care anymore? It was him, them, or US and he rather go with the more appealing option which was him > others which was the first true selfish act he has ever made. An odd feeling of guilt that washed over him, but it wasn't enough to make him turn around or slow down. It was going to plague him later. That was a fact.
Halfway up the wall, a thought came across his mind. They needed rope to climb but him. He didn't need the rope at all. If one of the grim ended up destroying the rope then that would be unfortunate. Luckily for them, Prince wasn't a*****e just to be an a*****e. If he was, he could of destroyed the rope and let them all suffer down there with the grim. Instead, he was more focused on living which meant nothing else mattered. Not even screwing over others. Especially one that still wanted to settle things. Why couldn't he be like his parents? All 3 of them. Even the pacifist of the bunch had much more of a mean streak and bravery to him. Yet, here Prince was running and caring about his own life. Still, it would be a learning experience. Maybe he wasn't ready to be a leader and Beacon made a mistake. Probably, but that would be something Prince could of told them from the very beginning. Either way, he continued stay focused on climbing and watching his surroundings. He even made sure have his aura up which even if it may seem like he was wasting it, he didn't want to be caught off guard while climbing and end up injured.

Hades would continue walking before hearing a faint sound. An explosion. A bug being squashed? He honestly couldn't tell what it was. It was just white noise. Just an accompanying sound to Hade's background. Maybe if it was a little higher on his decibel count he would be able to notice the situation more. Maybe even turn around and show some concern. Unfortunately, he did not. Since it was faint, it was ignored. He would focus on trying to get caught up to Blair. While she was ahead, he made sure to look around and make sure nothing was sneaking up on her or trying to attack. The close was clear. Good! It didn't take words for him to cover Blair. Their actions were almost automatic. Almost like a well oiled machine.
"Hmph" was the only response that Hades gave Blair as he met up with her. There wasn't any need to say anything else. She said it was time to move. He damn sure was going to start walking. Following her through the path, they would come across the vault in which his facial expression said it all. Hades was a little confused. Where exactly were they? This wasn't just some random cave was it? Not with such a place built in it. Hades wasn't thinking about security measures at this point of time. He was thinking about where this cave leads to and who could of made this building. Finally focusing, he would pull ahead. "Come on. My semblance can help with this. Unfortunately only be able see so much. Emperor's awakening is offline at the moment" he explained, showing that they were thinking almost on the same wave length. Its no surprise. She knew about his semblance. If roles were reversed, he would be thinking same thing. As he moved, he didn't see any security devices so far, but they probably hadn't made themselves visible yet. It wouldn't surprise him if they somehow popped up out of nowhere like form the walls and floor. Either way, he went for the security building and began the attempt to get inside. If nothing stopped him, he would end up inside and get a look at the items. If security did show itself. Hades would handle it. Though, him going ahead may end up being his downfall. He was lying partially to Blair. Emeperor's awakening was offline but he didn't inform her his regular emperor's eye may not be fully effective right now do to the hangover.
40 to his mouth, I gun him down now he can't get up

While the wolf started swallowing Fran, Reikka saw an opening. Instead of gazing at the scene transfixed, she smoothly and automatically began putting her fingers together in the symbols for strength, and with blank but determined eyes she unsheathed her staff and revealed its blades. And, in a matter of seconds, was immediately on the wolf as it gulped her down. She stabbed certain points in its spine, her sword going right through the wolf like butter, and with her aura coating the sword and making it a deadlier weapon to contend with, she made short work of the large Beowulf. As it began to panic due to being attacked from the rear and with a whole person in its mouth, Reikka didn't seem stirred or shaken in the least bit by what she was doing. In fact, she had never been so focused with anger her whole life. The monster tried to reach for its back, but Reikka was too quick in her minor movements for it. She would cut Fran out from its belly if she had to! And every single Grimm in this tunnel can simply go to hell for all she cared. Her feelings had never been so muted and clear all at once. She knew what she had to do.
These things were, afterall, ruthless monsters who had no conscious thoughts, and had no sense of right or wrong. They were useless in the world of the living, for they did nothing but hand over misery to others. So many good people had died due to these monsters, and it was at the moment that Reikka has absolved to face her fears of Grimm, and to keep herself alive no matter how hard the struggle would get. She wanted nothing else than to put Grimm down that very moment, to put them in their place which wasn't even on this plane or reality, and that it didn't matter to her if she got hurt in the process. She felt the feelings of revenge fill her heart, blinding her to everything else but the Grimm around her and the one she was mercilessly taking down, but at the same time keeping her mind clear and free of any guild of what else may happen. It was an extraordinary show of emotional resilience and sharpness, but at the same time it was a dark moment for Reikka, for she had never done something so gutless and cruel at the same time. The Grimm bellowed in pain. And then she struck the back of its neck, forcing it to silence itself permanently.
There was no room for weakness nor softness in the world of Grimm hunters. She knew she must kill or get killed in return. There was no room for error, no room for mercy against facing the enemies she knew would come her way in life. And as the Grimm swayed in pain and agony, and as it crashed to the floor with a certain finality to it, Reikka got off from its back, her hair covering her eyes and with an expression that was simply neutral and unreadable. She looked at the large lump in its stomach, as it seemed it was too late to prevent it from eating her. In fact, it was almost a odd moment for Reikka, for she never heard of a Grimm wanting to eat anything before this. But regardless if the oddity of the situation, she approached the huge lump and began to examine the contents of its stomach. With red eyes and a still exceedingly calm face, she took her blades and began to proceed with her macabre deed.
Meanwhile, the battle raged on all around her, screams of anguish and smells of blood and dust was all around her. But none of it mattered to Reikka. The two wolves that had their eyes on her were having trouble reaching her, for she was on the other side of the battling skirmish, which changed and shifted as each student battled the Grimm before them. The fight had finally resumed after the strange state of wonder, and now the Grimm were vent on revenge. Still, they were doing their best to get there, and she was sure she would be done before they found their way towards her. Still with an increasingly panicked and worried look growing on her once serene and fixed face, she began to cut along the edges of the stomach lining, with the first stab going in without any trouble, and making sure she wasn't going to cut Fran in the process.
--------- The girl with the fiery hair continued to look at the rocks, she was evidently talking to someone through the device she was using and needed to get through. She looked at the rocks that were in her path, and got a message from the individual she was talking to that if she went above, she would find what she was looking for. Apex turned and took in the fighting that was going on around her, a smirk appeared on her face, she was bloodthirsty, but wouldn't act on it. She did however, notice a young student glaring at her amongst the chaos. Giving him eye contact, her looming red eyes could burn the nicest soul. "Send it doon then, gawn back up tae get this done.." she said into the device she had. She again took in the fighting going around her, and almost wanted to take a few Grimm out.. or students. She placed her hand on the top of the flame axe adorned on her back, however, before she could start causing havoc a grapple appeared from where had came above previously. She kicked it before placing her feet on it, glaring at the student from before who was still looking at her.
Apex tried to see if she could recognise the child, but nothing came to mind. She had probably destroyed his life, just as she had others, but had done it to so many people it all became a blur. "'En there then!" she said, evidently impatient. She was pulled upwards out of the cavern to where she had entered, it was impossible for anyone to just get out that way, but she had people working for her at the top, and she arrived at the top to look at the few tribal members that had helped her out.
The members pointed in the direction behind her, "We found a way in that way, but there's already two wee shites-" before he could even finish, Apex was gone. She power walked off towards the cavern in discussion, she wouldn't allow anyone else to find it before her. It took her a while, but she eventually arrived and it appeared that two others were being the guinea pigs she needed. "Yer naw getting it.." she said to herself quietly as she followed the path already taken. Apex came to what appeared to be a security door of some sort, and two youngsters who appeared to be figuring out how to open it.
Moving out of the shadows and into a small light that was coming from the door, Apex approached the two individuals. Her shocking red features almost glowed in the light as she smirked at them both. "This is aaaawfy gleekit eh? Tell ya wit, I'll get yer treasure if you let me take what am looking fir.." she said. Looking between the two of them, "If not.." she said, pointing back towards the exit. "Then yees can back aff and I wilnae kill ye.." she added, a bloodthirsty smile again appearing on her face, she was not to be taken lightly.
