"You were patrolling?" he said doubtfully. Not that he didn't think Kainite was capable of patrolling (except that he did) but the idea of his subordinate (not friend not friend not friend) actually doing what he had been asked to do was kind of (a lot) surprising. Especially because Kainite was not known for his work ethics.
In spite of his best efforts to protect her from the madness that was his lieutenant, Mintaka was peering around at Kainite with great interest, her tone pleasant. Aurostibite gave an internal sigh and gave up, stepping back so that he was beside his wife instead, a hand at her back as he resigned himself to the inevitable.
"Mintaka, this is Kainite, one of my recruits," he said, somewhat grudgingly. "Kainite, this is my wife, Mintaka, and her friend, Stillwaterite."
That was all the introduction Kainite was going to get.
And then, all at once, they were being swept away, and Aurostibite was absolutely going to blame Kainite for this, because, well everything was his fault.
Chambersite stopped for a moment, his face dropping to one of surprise. Oh no. Oh oh no. Although it sounded like he was internally panicking, he was instead trying to hide a laugh. The poor page! The naivety! He couldn't help it, he let out a small chuckle at the situation. The poor girl. If she didn't get it together and realize that people like him were not nice, then she would not last very long. And there were quite a few agents and corrupts who were much more willing to take a starseed than he was.
He sighed and shook his head, a smile on his face. Oh well, at least this would be fun. "So you're a page... what's your powered name then?" As much as he wanted to know her civilian name, he knew he might not be able to get that as easily. "You new?" He looked around to see if any of the other Order characters would come over to help her. If he had to fight though, he would be ready for them, he didn't care if it got him killed.
He decided that if he were going to know her name, she might as well know his. After all, he wanted to be known in whatever database of information they may have had. Sure, it would make him a bigger target, but he welcomed the challenge. It was almost like something out of a video game and he always liked the thrill of battle and the feeling of victory over his opponents.
"I'm Chambersite." He said, though at that point she would most likely figure out that he was a Negaverse agent. Still though, perhaps her naivety would continued through that revelation.
Suddenly it was as if he were being sucked into a tornado! He tried to stop it, but he wasn't able to hold onto anything, and was sucked in!
"We're looking for Sailor Sweetite," Zircon instructed, tabbing through her tablet until she pulled up a picture of a young woman with peachy-pink hair and a dark flapper outfit, her forehead cracked. "She's not like you or me--she's a senshi, less strong but more magically inclined, and there are plenty of people here who would wish her harm. As a general rule--if you feel like someone is wrong in any way, then they are. Pay attention to them, but don't trust any kindness they might offer. It's all smoke and mirrors."
She started to step forward, thinking she saw a familiar feather, and then smoke coiled at her heels and up, dragging her away into the mists.
"Yeah, well, surprises are great. I happen to love surprises," Chauvet nodded, doing her best not to sweat under the pressure of all that Chaos. She didn't see Stabby Blood nearby, but that didn't mean she was safe. Still, it was a price she had to pay if she was going to risk it for the biscuit, and she was all in.
"So. You come here often--?" She started to say, when the bottle in the senshi's hands started to move, and suddenly she found herself surrounded in the whirlwinds of a mist. Spooked, she tried to jump away, hardcore-parkour style, but the smoke was faster than her reflexes and she spiraled down, down...
Being at the edges of the mist meant that Ella had just enough foresight to see the others slip away before the mists reached her, dark and cloying and pulling her down. "Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good..." she murmured to herself, and then she was gone, to wherever else everybody was being carried.
She hoped Reid would miss her. And like, her family or whatever.
And whilst Reinerite was no further along in finding out just what this place was, it appeared that she wasn't the only person that had been caught up in it–
Not that she knew what 'it' was either - and standing and staring at the edges of where she'd been sucked in wasn't going to do much.
No she needed information - information beyond the fact that there seemed to be a glass-like barrier of sorts preventing her from walking back out - which had been the very first thing that she had tried to do.
A flurry of white from somewhere further up drew her attention, curiosity causing her to make the decision to walk towards it as it was as good a way to go as any and it seemed that there were chaotic auras that way as well.
One such aura, was a little nearer than the others, the source taking her a little by surprise but only in that she recognised the brunette female from the rift mission that they had both been part of.
"Lieutenant, you wouldn't happen to know what's going on would you?"
But even as she was speaking the air around her was starting to vibrate, Reinerite feeling as if it was almost shaking.
Was it? Was it and the white flurry that she had initially moved to go check out linked?
Grey eyes, looked over in the direction that she had been heading in almost automatically, but whatever had caused it appeared to have died down.
There was however a familiar figure further up ahead amongst a group, for all that it had been a while - or at least what appeared to be a familiar figure.
"General?" It was a murmur, albeit one likely loud enough to be heard by the brunette Lieutenant.
The air was still vibrating, the swirl of dark mist suddenly moving rapidly about her as it swirled round and round about her - and it had come on too sudden to do anything about, the mist catching her up with it as it continued to swirl around and around in storm of black–
Reinerite had enough time to call out "Try to stay close Lieutenant" although it was hard to tell if Gunningite had heard as with a sudden 'whoosh' she was gone.
"Oh hunny, Let me see! you didn't tell me you had recruits." Mintaka wanted to know all about them when Still called her out.
"Well we can only assume that-" Her eyes widened suddenly as people started getting sucked into the bottle. "Acubens dear, hold tight to your boy, we're gonna go for a ride."
How often did she say that since she travelled mirrorspace? Too much to count, to be honest. With a small woosh and pop, everything sucked into the bottle with a small pop.

Mintaka didn't have to tell Acubens twice to hold on to those in her charge. Quickly to reached out for both Jason and Lacerta, clinging to whatever limb she could grab before whatever it was Still had unleashed took total effect.
"I want you two to stay close to me," she instructed, falling over her words as she struggled to get them out as fast as possible while still being clear.
"We're a team now, the three of us. No matter who else comes along, we three stay together, do you understand?"
There wasn't time to see if they understood as the magic sucked them away.
"Mental gymnastics? If you say so, I will not argue, though I do not understand what you are calling that. You speak in ways that are most... unusual." She found the other person strange indeed, honestly, what with the odd ways they spoke and acted towards this situation. But perhaps they had been caught up in magical mishaps before, unlike her, and were rather used to it. She certainly was not and was not all comfortable in this situation. This odd young person was not making her more comfortable.
She watched the other as they studied the strange barrier, and sighed a little, looking towards the sky. Even that was covered over, whatever stars that might have been visible blocked by the strange colors that covered them. It was disturbing to see the sky in such colors, even if she did not normally spend much time gazing at it... Knowing how it SHOULD look was a thing that she held in her head, and made her uncomfortable to find that knowledge no longer applicable.
It was like on the nights when the moon glowed in a red color... It looked wrong, and disturbed what she knew was supposed to be right.
When they spoke again, her brows came together at one of the words he used. "Surdly? Pardon, but I am unfamiliar with that term. Would you consider explaining it?" She was looking at them in a baffled sort of way. The other spoke so strangely, acted so oddly. It made her wonder about their mental health... Not that she was one to judge mental health.
Her forehead wrinkled further as they described the ending of the boy, and she gave a small and unhappy shudder. "I am sorry for the person you knew, and the loss you, perhaps, felt. I hope that he, wherever his soul may be, is happy and at peace." She was innocent of this strange world she had been dragged into, and at a loss as to how to act here, but she hoped her words were appropriate.
And then the air changed, began to vibrate, pulled her in, and she could not help it... She screamed in fear, because this was so much further beyond her knowledge of the world then anything that had happened so far. She wanted to grab the other, but she felt they would not welcome her touch, with how distant they seemed to act, and instead, she hugged herself, frightened and at a loss.

Mauvian Tiberius
Poor kitten had no idea she'd fallen into company with such a terrible creature at Tiberius, and with some luck she wouldn't for some time. He did so enjoy playing the long game, plus he just liked other Mauvians on a basic level, even if they weren't necessarily going to benefit him in some way later.
Long whiskers twitched forward, then back, the large feline's mouth opening as he caught a familiar scent again. Is it the kid? Mistress' pet get stuck her too? I don't see the little bugger... Not that Tibs was looking too hard for Eion when he had Obscura front and center, chattering brightly at him and offering so many things in those bell tones. "You're a Mauvian, no need to be shy."
"Hmmm...I do. Don't know if they got stuck in whatever this magical mess this is." Here Tiberius lifted a paw to gesture around a bit, indicating whatever it was that had them in it's mystery clutches. "Feels like Chaos, but not Metallia-Chaos, you dig? So it's maybe something new, which is bad, or it's one of those Dark Mirror things...which is less bad, but still annoying." He huffed a bit, flicking his tail and swiveling his ears to gather sound; the auras around them were Nega-Chaos, DMC-Chaos, Order, Mauvian, and Civilian...which was interesting....but he couldn't pin-point anyone he knew just by aura.
Scent was another thing completely though. Moondust, blood, and ash... "C'mon, we might find someone I know if we go this way. I think I smell one of my people, but it could just be a trick of this place..." And thus, Tiberius started to lead the small kitten around for a bit before the air began vibrating, irritating the feline's delicate pinnae and causing him to crouch unhappily.
When it started funneling back...well, he reacted: grabbing the kitten by the scruff and attempting to bolt.
Sadly, a futile attempt as the magic devoured all within it's grasp.
"Sailor...?" Aventurine responded, a slight drawl to his question, hazel eyes looking at his general with scrutiny. He understood, to a degree, why code names and what not were needed but they were nowhere near the sea and he didn't quite understand what sailors had to do with anything that General Zircon had introduced him to. Still, it wasn't difficult to tell that now was not the time nor place for such questions and he decided to treat this whole affair like he might when attending something in the company of his mother.
This affair would be given his greatest smoozing Gansey-- Aventurine, whatever he was supposed to refer to himself as.
His general produced a picture, from the tablet she'd once exposed him to previously but he had yet to play with, and he took a great deal of time taking in the woman's -- Sweetite's -- features. The sheen of her hair felt familiar in a nagging sort of way and he could have sworn he'd seen those eyes somewhere, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't place her. She was not someone he knew, even if he thought he might when he first looked upon her picture.
"Smoke and mirrors, trust no one, yada yada," he repeated, waving a hand as if he were bored by the whole ordeal. He understood the basics of what the woman wanted him to do. Be on his best behavior, focus on the 'target' and retrieval and then they would take their leave quickly.
"My guard is up ma'am," he said, seeking to assure her that whatever happened, he'd follow her lead and command.
That's what happened in these sorts of situations and he pretended to trust her 'experience' while he was still getting a feel for things.
But smoke was lapping at his frame and he cocked a brow, hints of a smirk creeping across his face. "Smoke and mirrors seems to be literal in this case, ma'am." Amusement laced his tone even as he watched other disappear, his general included. He knew this was a serious abnormality occurring but he couldn't help himself. Besides, he was confident enough in himself to know that he would be fine whatever came of this trip.

Phoebe
It was hard not to let the nerves she was feeling blossom into panic as more and more chaotic auras seemed to flare up or flood in from all sides, and paired with whatever else was descending upon the park, Phoebe was just barely keeping it all together. She moved quickly along the paths, trying to pick her way though unseen, but there were people everywhere, chaotic and order alike, and with her own aura it was impossible to hide. Nor was it safe to power down.
She felt trapped, and despite the crowd very alone. Her team wasn't here; no Denebola, no Khaleel, no Alhambra. If she just could have found someone she knew...
But that was easier said than done.
A couple of moments those worries wouldn't mean much. Not as the mist surrounding the parrk began to swirl ominously above and around them. It had the senshi stiffening as she looked up at rotating haze, an uneasy feeling settling in the pit of her stomach as it spun faster and faster before a point in the center dipped like a tornado touching down. It kicked up a wind to pulled at her skirt and her hair, and Phoebe took a few quick steps back as the dark sky began to close in around them, lower and lower until she was feeling herself lifted, pulled, and then???

Genbu
"News flash, you're not that much older than I am," she retorted stubbornly, arms coming up and crossing despite the gentle hand on her arm. Dark lips parted to add to that before the look on his face made her pause, head turning to follow his gaze out into the crowd and towards one general in particular that seemed to be smiling back. And not in a pleasant way.
It had Genbu biting her tongue on further snarky come backs, which was certainly for the best.
"Fine." She didn't like following someone else's orders, but she couldn't deny that it was in their best interests to keep close to someone that was more seasoned and stronger then they were.
Even if his little dog syndrome grated at her nerves a bit.
None of that mattered a moment later though as the mist swirled around them, faster and faster. It seemed to collapse, like water spinning down a drain, and the next thing she knew she was being drawn off her feet with a startled yelp. There was enough time to grab for Seiryuu's hand, and then the world started to spin...

Mlinzi
No one would ever call the cat smart... especially when he spotted someone he knew and not paying any attention to those around them, ran up to them while yelling their name. "Lacertaaaaaaa!" The giant cat bounded through the mist towards the senshi, glad to have spotted someone he knew. It was harder then it seemed since the mist hid various plants that he had to get through but still he persevered. There were others he recognized but no real names popped into his mind. There wasn't a lot going on in his mind anyway, keeping names and faces straight were not a priority for the large fur ball.
Any further actions, reactions, or general Mel stupidity was erased by the vary air around him starting to vibrate. Almost like someone sent electricity through the very air. The mist apparently didn't like that since it started to swirl and twist like it was in the agitation part of a washing machine only there was no water or soap and he most definitely wasn't clothing... or anything that needed washing. "Lacerta?" He voiced his concerns with a unasked question, even as he tried to inch a little closer to the senshi he awoke quite some time ago, gold eyes on the dark swirling mass that seemed to be funneling somewhere. This whole place was strange and really not normal. He wanted to go home.
He didn't get a chance to do, or say, anything more before he was sucked into the bottle along with the mist. "But I'm not a genie!" His indignant yowl nearly lost in the transition. If he was a genie he most definitely would be wishing to be somewhere else right now, thats for sure.

Have a last minute cat sweatdrop
[Mel Exit]
((proximity primarily I think, I went off the others quotes... have a surprise cat right before the bottle sucking))
Lacerta had been hanging back. She could tell that the others that were near weren't like here. Some of them even felt similar to Coll'arco had, but stronger. Did that mean that the man had not been what he said he was? Figuring that she could leave the mystery for another day she merely remained silent as Acubens exchanged words with the group. Her gaze travelled to the young man that Acubens had called over before feeling the reassuring clasp of a friendly hand gripping hers.
It was about that time that Lacerta was going to perk up and actually introduce herself to everyone present when out of nowhere a tugging sensation registered and she heard Acubens's words clearly enough to grasp at the hand holding hers even more tightly. If this was going to end up somewhere weird, then she wanted someone she knew at her side.
The sudden yowl of her name on the wind caused the redhead to turn and catch sight of a figure doing their darnedest to reach her position. Mel? It couldn't have been him, but who else would yell her name so freely?
How long the sensation of spinning went on for was unknown. All that the senshi of bandages knew is that when the spinning stopped ... she wasn't in Destiny City anymore; and that worried her greatly.

Acubens advice heeded. Lacerta's holding on for dear life.
Jason caught that someone had opened a bottle, but that none of them knew exactly what was happening. How unfortunate that he just happened to wander by at the wrong time. He hated making Nischal and Xi worry, which surely they would be when he didn't return home soon.
"It's okay Acubens. People have more to worry about than you knowing who I am. I'm just a curious kid you ran into some night or something." He shrugged it off pretty easily. No one was really paying him much attention, they had bigger fish to fry than him at the moment.
That was when things started to get even wilder. Oh heck no, couldn't they just stay here? Acubens reached out for him and he was more than willing to hold on to her for dear life. He felt a little useless having to depend on her so much, but what more could he do in a situation like this? Before he knew it they were all being sucked into somewhere together.
"Well, if it is Chaos related, I am certainly willing to help try to put a stop to it." She ran her fingers along his back, rubbing his ears gently and both giving and taking comfort from the actions. "I do hope the solution will not be too overly complex, because I really do want to get back home at a decent hour. I had plans to call someone important to me for a bit." She gave a slow sigh and looked around, wishing this place was less foreboding.
His question had her brows wrinkling for a moment as she considered the suggestion, and then she gave a nod. "That is probably a good idea, yeah. Shall we go?"
She was about to get up when the air began to vibrate. Rather then panicking and running... She stood, but gripped Arthur close, trying to protect her friend, just in case. She was ready to stand between his smaller body and whatever came... Though being sucked into a... A BOTTLE?... was definitely nothing like she would ever expect to have happen!
