Chloris was so confused by the chaos that was around her. Ella's cry, telling her they could not fight. The Hells with that...but, then there was confusion once more. Emerald eyes widened in disbelief as the tribeswoman before them...Now had no head?!"What in the Hells is going on,"She exclaimed as it began to rain bullets. Some stung as they hit her pale green aura.
It was time to focus! She glowered at the man that Henryk was so fixed on."Where was Remus when we need him?!"Chloris cursed and looked over to their captain."Henryk, leave the b*****d! Git yer horned hide otta there!"She yelled at the young demon of a faunus. Quarterstaff in hand, the petite young woman glanced back at Ella.
"Ella! Gitt'em outta here, I'll guard! She instructed the young woman (her southern twang more audible) as she seemed to make a ruckus before having to duck from the erratic shots being fired.
As her eyes sited a tribesman looking confused besides Henryk while the faunus attacked another, her aura would appear around her faintly. The blades of grass around the confused tribesman would begin to thicken and pointed to sharpness of a knife before attempting to slice at the ankles of the pesky annoyance that may try attacking her captain.

Ella Fletcher "Would you like to go for a swim?"
Ella's eyes opened widely as her new opponent had her head swiftly removed by the man, she knew they were no match for him but started to become terrified for her own life. Ella found it difficult to swallow, her breathing became heavy as she looked at the group who began to move. She ducked down her head when she heard the sound of a gunshot, and then it became several very quickly. Her aura got hit by one of the bullets and flashed a bright blue colour, before she placed her hand on the water bottle on her side, opened it up and placed her hand out, standing in front of the area the group were trying to flee through.
Water quickly formed a shield that took some bullets instead of them going past to hit the weakened group. Ella looked to her teammates who were avoiding the fires also, and frowned towards Chloris. "Why does she think she can take everyone on?" she thought to herself, taking a sigh to recover from her frustration. "We have a mission guys! It's not to stand here and fight, remember that!" she yelled, as she began to back off from the center of the fight and follow the group that they were hired to protect.
Ella would remain with the group whilst they moved, it was her duty to protect them. She couldn't bear with the thought of leaving her team, but they had a chance to defend themselves and hopefully knew the odds of them winning against the newcomer was nil. Ella wanted to defend the weak, and continued to go with the group, they weren't far from the safe zone, only a little further.

They seem smart. He was too used to being attacked when things didn't play out when people wanted. The tribe, not so much. He wasn't surprised by the hailstorm of bullets, if anything he was counting on the chaos. His aura was up prepared but extra protection was always a good idea, releasing his aura on the ball he redirected it to his specially designed clothing. Although, he had hoped that less of these tribe's members would aim at him. Guess taking out the head wasn't a popular move. The unexpected variable had decided it was best to tackle those with guns, anything he did was better than bog Sinn down in a fight. So, a team of three? Lost one already.. No. They appear too, gathered, for that. Then the smallest of the three said something, unique. While your goal should come first. Are you so confident you can hold them back? The third would finally begin to move and appeared to have the best plan, protect and run.
This made things easy. A three-way fight, himself, students and tribe over these poor people. While he had achieved his goal, it had cost him in relations with the tribe, perhaps not permanently but enough to make introductions awkward. Unless they don't say a word. Killed on patrol by some scared children. How exhausted were these kids anyway? They all looked fairly battered and bruised. the blood dripping down his face was beginning to dry, making all facial expressions uncomfortable. Time to split the Tribe's attention. He'd wink at the crazed goat then smile to the tribe in general. You stupid idiots. Your one advantage was being hidden, but losing your leader made you all completely fall apart. Then he'd begin to laugh as he ducked and weaved his way away. Guess you won't be able to get retribution for that though. Unless you want to let the kids escape with the knowledge they have.
Five things stood out to him at this very moment. The tribe had to fight the kids. The kids had to defend the people. The goat appeared to be in a near mindless rage. The blue-haired kid seemed confident they could hold everyone back while their team and contract escaped. The silver-haired kid was behind a water wall with their contract. Still so much to info to gather. Is this rage the goat's semblance? Which of the girls are making the water wall? What is the third semblance? Where is their fourth member? How competent are these tribe members?
With what he did know, this was a win-win situation for him. The kids didn't want to go for him, leaving only the tribe. The tribe would A. Abandon the kids and go for him. Never, they'd be dead if the kids escaped.B. Abandon him and focus on their objective. Probable, but seeing a faunus kill their leader will cause an emotional reaction. Chances they'll be some who can't resist a fight. Leaving the most likely, C. Divide between the two groups. Slim pickings work for the kids too. All that was left was to see it play out. Switching back to the bat he'd use it to deflect a stray bullet. So can I go? Or are we gonna play?
Post Count: 114 OOC: So either a fight or he's gone!
Bullets flew in every direction. The Tribe members hidden in the trees didn't seem to know who to aim at. With their leader taken out, each one picked the target they thought was best. Some aimed for Sinn, though it was hard to say if it was out of loyalty for their dead leader, or if it was out of fear. The casual murder had certainly labelled him the biggest threat. Others turned their guns on Ella and the merchants who were vanishing in the brush. That was their mission after all. Kill the merchants. Bullets were flying at Henryk, with his black hair and red horns while he charged forward, and even bullets flying at Chloris, who appeared to be simply standing there, expect that the faint glow of her aura gave her away for those who were paying attention. It didn't seem like the Tribe were, as stray bullets even hit their two members caught in the middle of the semi-circle of bullet fire.
The Tribe member Henryk charged for didn't even see him until Henryk was nearly on top of him. He had enough time to look surprised before the Ibex crashed into him. It knocked the wind out of him, temporarily stunning him. His friend might have helped if he wasn't dealing with issues of his own. "Ow, what the.." He felt a sharp stinging around his ankles and looked down to see the grass itself attack him. His skin hadn't been pierced, thanks to his aura, but that didn't stop him from momentarily dancing away as if the ground had suddenly become very hot. "So that's how you want to fight, huh?" He said angrily. His eyes fell on Chloris, and then he charged forward, sword held high.
While the visible members seemed to be having a hard time of it, something would need to be done about those shooting wildly from the trees before aura began to run low.
"A-are you sure you shouldn't help your friends?" It was Mary-Gold. Ella had seemed to have taken on the role of protecting them, while the rest of the team fought off whatever danger they faced. May-Gold was clearly frightened, not wanting Ella to leave, but Henryk and Chloris seemed to be in a much more dangerous situation. At least until a volley of bullets hit Ella's water shield and the group ducked behind her. Except for Chris Lee, who paused at the sound of gunfire, turning briefly to see what was happening, before doubling his speed, carrying the injured Snow away.

Bullets flew everywhere, some had impacted his aura but been stopped before doing much in the way of damage. People were yelling, fighting. But he had someone to worry about first. The guy he had managed to knock over and bring to the ground. I guess a charging goat faunus was not something he planned on encountering today, and he ended up with a royally pissed off one. He could hear something happening to the other one, ow, and that asking about if someone wanted a fight. He couldn't really focus on that for now though, as he did his best to keep the guy pinned to the ground...and take advantage of it. He would try to punch the guy a few times, before remembering he had something better. One hand would reach for his cane as the other would try to deflect anything the other guy tried, before Henryk would begin smacking him with the cane. Trying to knock the guy out so he could focus on others around him and all that was going on. And get out from the line of fire as he was, even on the ground with this one as he could see a few shooting past and into the ground around them. Apparently they didn't care he had a tribe member with him. That sucked but he would have to get to that once this guy was dealt with.
After a few blows, he managed to hit the guy hard enough he stopped struggling and resisting. Which Henryk hoped meant he was unconscious. He would look around as he suddenly heard his name, seeing Chloris off in the distance but not quite making out what she had said. And a tribe guy charging at her. 'Chloris!' He would yell in his mind, but an all too close stray bullet made him have to switch focus away from her. While he wanted to help her, he had to make sure he survived first off. And that meant dealing with all the gunmen. He would also hear Ella yell to remember their mission, seeing a water shield pop up as they were being shot at too. He felt a bit helpless as he couldn't help them, but also just angry at everything going on. He would then notice the big guy laugh, calling the gun people idiots and that they blew their advantage before he tried to get away. He was saying something else but Henryk stopped focusing. He saw an opportunity. He would try to follow after the guy, and have him between him and at least some of the bullets. To use him as a human shield of sorts, even if he wasn't staying that close to him. Whatever the guy thought, Henryk wasn't letting him get away scott free either.
Henryk would follow Sinn, using him as a partial bullet shield even if the guys bulk couldn't cover from all angles. It was still better than running in the open! Though...this guy also strangely just wasn't running for it. No time to question that though. They were headed to the side, not moving straight towards the gunman or to Chloris but to hopefully the edge/ opening of their converging fire zone. His aura taking a few bullets from those who had an angle on him, though he did his best to try and dodge them with his own acrobatic nature. If they somehow made it to tree cover/ ran into any gun people, Henryk would be faced with a choice. Go against the brute or gun people...But knowing the gun people were also after his team would make it a quick choice. 'I have to protect my team.' He thought to himself. If they got to cover or ran into any gun people, he would try to jump up into the trees...to hopefully be able to move to attack further tribe people and distract them/ incapacitate them. ✘ Actual Post count: 63 ✘ Effective post count: 56 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC: If I need to fix anything let me know. The petite human could not deny that she was feeling a bit of adrenaline through her veins, but she wasn't completely thoughtless. Ella was right, this was not their mission. Though someone should tell Henryk that. Seriously! That boy was more mindless than she was!
As her attentions were on the grass, it would stop as soon as he started charging at her as she was swiftly moving back just enough to take cover from the blazing bullets. "So that's how you want to fight, huh?" That put her in a bit of a panic as she looked from the tribesman, briefly to the tree and back. It would seem she was contemplating if she had enough time to climb up the tree. But, in actuality, she was planning something very different."No choice,"She replied, praying her teammates would be okay.
Her aura still around her, there would be a faint glow above from a branch that seemed to become limber and lengthen before attempting to strike out at the tribe member coming after the girl."Yikes!"Chloris thought...
If it catches:
"Come on then!"She yelled, defiantly, refusing to show fear as she stood ready to strike with her spear in both her hands. She would not have to use it though as the limber branch she was controlling would strike, wrapping around the attacker's neck from behind and pulling him back in a harsh whiplash...
If not:
"Come on then!"She yelled, defiantly, refusing to show fear as she stood ready to strike with her spear in both her hands. Cursing softly as the branch would miss the tall man but would thwack at him instead as Chloris would attempt to halt his charge with a thrust swift and steady but powerful thrust of her spear at him...

Ella Fletcher "Would you like to go for a swim?"
Ella was still close enough to see her team as the trees became less and the area became more open. She remained in front of the group they were to guide to safety and would stay there to protect them whilst they moved, that was her mission. Her eyes darted to everyone involved but kept going back to the newcomer that had taken one of the merchants head clean off, she felt something from him, something was telling her that she had seen this man before, but she shook it off. The merchants were making some space between them all when a tribe member came out of the clearing with his sword raised, a thirsty grin on his face as he stormed at Ella. "It sucks to see such a young pretty thing have to die!" he said as he stopped two metres at her, joined by another grunt from the group.
Ella signaled to the merchants to continue moving, she could see the goal in the distance and needed to deal with these grunts before they got to them. "I won't let you get to them!" she said, taking her staff out as water appeared at either side of it. The frontrunner of the two men seemed impressed by the weapon, but evidently couldn't care less for her statement, he leapt at her with his sword raised and brought it down towards her left shoulder, whilst the other grunt joined and used a stabbing motion straight for her stomach.
Ella began to panic when she saw them both coming at her, fighting alone just wasn't something she wanted to do. She placed her staff up and the water from the left end created a hook that smacked the first members sword away, staggering him backwards. She went to continue her move through to hurt him, however let out a yelp in pain as she felt the second member sword stab into her side, her aura shield flashing as it protected her from the brunt of it. Ella fell backwards and felt totally trapped, she was an agile fighter at the best of times, but this mission had began to tire her, to the point even her water wasn't that strong any longer. Her mind was stuck on too many other things to concentrate on the fact that she would potentially die from this altercation. "You can't always rely on others to save you Ella..." she thought to herself, breathing heavily as blood stained through her right side.
The members grinned at her, laughing menacingly as they moved in for the kill. Ella held her staff up once more, wincing from the pain but standing her ground as water appeared once more, ready to protect herself from their next move.

Remus stopped moving to take in what was happening. It was depressing how easily things could go from just fine to well crap Creek. All he had to worry about was getting Chloris to understand the necessity of leaving her bag in the cave with Ella so that he and and Henryk could come rushing out to save her from those Ursa. Simple. Not dire. And most importantly not a risk that could up end all their work on this mission up until now. Nothing like what the guys found upon returning to the girls and merchants. Remus only caught a bare minimum of the proceedings from where he was standing but from Henryk's reaction it was clear that things were not good. Their team leader just went beserk before Remus could grab him to hold him back. Charging right into the thick of who knows what. Remus scowled as he slipped back away from the others as shouting started, followed by gun fire. 'Great. Just great. Of course I recall my scouts at the exact moment it allows a larger group of hostiles to sneak in and get the drop on us. So much for my being one of the most skill scouts at the acedemy.' He thought as he moved in behind a tree. He got his weapon ready and took out four arrows from his quiver. His eyes methodically reviewing all the hostiles he could pick out while his hands worked to ram each arrow point first into the soft soil where they would be easy to get to and fire off in quick secession.
Henryk's rampage was continuing and as Remus watched it actually struck him as it could even be worsening. Though no matter how his appearance changed because of it it still seemed that there was some Henryk left inside since he still managed to respond to Chloris and even try to warn her of an attacker approaching her. He seemed to even try to help her but was forced to refocus on his own fight again. Remus reached for a fifth arrow and nocked it to the aura bowstring of his weapon. He never got any farther than lining up the shot to cover Chloris before he paused. The memory of her determination to beat her opponents without help earlier in the mission staying his hand, only because she seemed to have the situation in hand as is though. He went back to his evaluation revising upward his impression of Henryk's control again as it seemed that he might of also at least heard and maybe comprehended what Ella was saying about them needing to stay on mission. Remus agreed with Ella. They had lost one of the merchants already. The others must be given top priority. And that brought Remus full circle to the last of the hostiles. The one to kill Snow and the Tribe leader. He was an odd one and Remus couldn't figure out what his angle was. It almost seemed like despite his presence and his actions he didn't want to be here or maybe didn't even care about his presence here. The man even went as far as to ask everyone in the clearing if he could just go now. Henryk having dealt with his first oppent didn't seem of mind to let him off though.
Remus left Henryk to his business and refocused on Ella's attempts to extract their mission objective. She had made a shield of water to cover herself and the merchants but despite that her aura and the others were lighting up from bullet strikes. Getting out of this would be simpler if they could put a stop to that. It was time for Remus to get involved. Time for him to answer Chloris' earlier thought that questioned where he was when you needed him. When you needed Remus you would always find him where you needed him. In this case, where was someplace he could make an opening and chance to make a clean get away. The familiar ghostly fog of aura rose about Remus's feet and began to climb the tree he was watching from. Whatever the spectral animals were was unclear as they all climbed up and disappeared into the foliage before fully manifesting, but there were definitely five of them.
Now Remus just had to wait while they moved in on the targets. Remus made a count and it looked like he might be able to get them all. Unless he just couldn't see some from where he was. With all the Tribe members either directly attacking his party or being very trigger happy it did not seem likely. 'Annnnnnndddd... now!' Right on his que Remus joined the fighting, just not in person yet. Five Tribe members shooting about suddenly had some spectral animal drop out of the trees or from higher branches if they were in a tree to land on their heads and shoulders. The animals were all baboons with simple orders. The moment they landed they grabbed for the Tribesmen's guns and used both the shock of their impact and their primate strength to rip guns from hands then proceed to use them as clubs on their previous owners. Just to make it more effective Remus even used his control to direct them to shoot the guns owner and any other Tribe member they could if they got the chance. After all, monkey see monkey do.
His trap deployed and the Tribe members that were engaged in spray and prey tactics hopefully dealt with Remus turned his attention back to the others. Snatching up the arrows he set up and jamming all but one back into their quiver. Chloris and Henryk were still in sight but Ella and the merchants had moved on. Remus ran to follow after them. Relocating to a place of cover where he could see both groups. Unfortunately while he worked to make escape easier Ella wasn't fairing well against two enemies that had given chase of her and the merchants. Ella had been knocked down and wounded. Though she was back on her feet it was clear that the two enemies were moving in to finish her. Remus might be able to hold off on helping out Chloris but in a case like this he would likely interfere whether she liked it or not. For Ella though there wasn't any other thought. His movements were mechanical, precise, practiced. The bow rose and the string pulled back then snapped forward the second the arrow lined up with the Tribe member who was closest to Ella. A surprise arrow to the back, dead to rights aimed for a heart kill shot. And if the shot hit true by the time the other man processed what had just happened the second arrow, which Remus was holding alongside the bow would be airborne. Good, fast reactions from good combat instincts might save the second man from the same date as the first but turn the Dodge that second arrow means giving Ella her opening to get him herself.

The chaos continued. The horned boy was smart using him as a partial shield. For a moment he felt compelled to dart the opposite direction to reveal him, but he decided against it, as it would only force him back into a needless fight. They continued on their way to the edge as Sinn observed what was transpiring. Plant girl seemed to be doing reasonably well, all things considered. Water girl not so much. She looked exhausted, they all did, but she had to deal with two while protecting people.
Soon the question of what to do when they hit the edge would have to be answered. Deal with the horned boy, deal with any gunmen, or just flee? Then baboons. What the..? Ah, I see, number four finally reveals themselves. That fortunately looked to deal with one of his choices. Now there were only two questions; would the horned boy attack him? What is number four going to do? For now, number four was more important
Another look around as he attempted to locate that newcomer. Forest, bushes, glade, trees. He's in the trees, which one? nope, nope, nope. Damn kid's good. From the corner of his eye he spotted someone he knew, it almost caused him to trip on himself. Impossible. This time a very obvious double take at water girl. Ha, what a coincidence looks exactly like... White hair... Water... White.. Wat-. Finally, it clicked. s**t.
All priorities in his head changed immediately. The two going for her were dead, this was certain to him. She knocked one away, Sinn stopped his entire momentum and switch his footing. The other stabbed her, Sinn went into a full sprint for her. An arrow fired itself at the proud tribe man, Sinn switched his weapon back into blade form. Another arrow, this Tribe man had more time to avoid it but not if they wanted to avoid Sinn. Sinn brought his blade up purposely aiming for where the second tribe member would attempt to move to avoid the second arrow. Sinn would stare straight into this man’s eyes, he needed to see the life fade from them. Whichever death this man chose, Sinn wouldn't falter and quickly pull his blade around to chop the head off the other tribe member, regardless of if they were already dead or not.
His gaze would quickly dart between the other tribes members nearby. He would target each based on proximity to Meredy. Before going after his first target he would use his body as a shield for the girl and whisper in her ear. I realise this is all very confusing, but believe me when I say I want the best for you. Take them and run, don't stop and don't look back. We will meet again.. He wanted desperately to say more, but too much would damage everything, he's come too far for it to fall apart now. Then he would pull another metal ball from his pocket, switch his weapon to bat form, strengthen the ball, use the bat to send the ball towards a nearby tribe member while charging another. RUN!

The male running towards Chloris made a comical "Urgk" sound as the tree branch grabbed him around the neck and violently pulled him backwards. The sword that was in his hand hung in the air for a second, seeming to not realize for a moment the person holding it up had been ripped away, before falling to the ground. Panicking and disarmed, the Tribe member clawed at the branch around his throat.
"What the!" Amber growled as something fell on top of her shoulders. Instinctively, she reached up to grab whatever it was that fell on her and attempted to throw it away as hard as she could, and then shoot at it.
Rusty was equally shocked to have had something fall on top of him. A pair of strange glowing arms reached down for his rifle. "Oh no, you don't!" The male growled as he wrestled for the weapon with a white knuckle death grip.
Albus was so startled by the sudden weight on top of him that he fell from his perch in the tree with a scream. Ivy laughed until a baboon landed on her, likewise sending her tumbling from the trees. It was a comical show as the baboons jumped down and grabbed the fallen weapons, leaving Albus and Ivy no choice but to try to get them back. They ran after the spectral animals, shouting for them to give their guns back while trying to dodge bullets.
Moss had his gun ripped right out of his hands, though he avoided falling out of the tree like Albus and Ivy. "Hey!" He shouted while the creature leaped away and pulled out his kama pistols and fired at the spectral animal. It was short-lived when the baboon turned the rifle on Moss. It was then that he joined Albus and Ivy on the forest floor.
All in all, Remus's attack resulted in the gunfire decreasing considerably, but it hadn't stopped it entirely.
Remus's arrow struck true, the males aura absorbing the damage in what would have otherwise been a kill shot. The fight was all out now, and the tribe at their auras up. The leader of this group's arrogance had led to her quick death. He and his buddy whirled around to see Sinn running at them full sprint. If Ella was going to make a move, this was her opening. The second of the two males began raising his shield in preparation for the charging male's attack. He was too busy watching Sinn, that he didn't see the second arrow come flying towards him. It was sheer dumb luck that the arrow hit the shield he has already been raising in defence of Sinn charging towards him. While the second guy went to block Shinn's attack, the first swung his sword at Sinn.

But he had no time to celebrate of cheer it. Mind made up, he had to act now before things got worse. And as much as he wanted to deal with the giant, he had to stop the gunfire to protect his team first. In almost a flash, the acrobatic goat was up in the tree branches and on the move. Jumping from branch to branch with ease as he tried to see hide or hail of the gunmen. You'd think it be easy when they were firing those loud guns, but when you had trees in the way and the sound of it all over...it was hard to tell which sound came from where or how close it was. And no telling if you would turn a branch to see one a couple meters away or right in front of you. But Henryk noticed something. He was not alone in the trees. Far from it. He saw a bunch of spectral monkeys in there too! "Took you long enough Remus!" He yelled, given it felt like forever to him since this fight started when it hadn't been very long in the slightest. Before realizing yelling in the tree tops trying to get the drop on the tribe was not a good idea, his loss of focus maybe going to bite him in the a** in the future. But there was nothing he could do now so he just carried on.
The monkeys would strike before he could. Jumping down on gun people, taking weapons, attacking them. If this weren't a serious situation, Henryk would probably be rolling on the ground laughing at the scene in front of him. Though...if he had time to think, he probably would've done something similar. Still, it did give him an idea in his mind. 'Monkey see, Monkey do.' He thought slightly with a toothy grin. Crimson horns accidentally cutting through leaves and pushing aside overhead branches. He would finally come across someone, hopefully masked from notice due to the chaos all around. If it hadn't been for the monkeys stealing some guns, he probably would not have been able to follow the sound of gunfire. He would spy two people...and something else as a smile crossed his lips. There was a beehive...conveniently above one of them. Despite his eagerness for the fight, he knew he couldn't go in blind. If he attacked one the other would surely react too. So he had to pick his target...deciding quickly to go for the one in the tree with him first, and leave the one with the beehive second. He would go full speed, relying on his agility and sure footing, to hopefully whack them in the head with his cane and out of the treetop. Then, regardless of what happened with the first, he would change his cane to whip form and try to hit the beehive above the other one. Hoping to distract them and buy himself time. Depending how things went would determine his next moves.
In an ideal world where his five second plan went smoothly, one person would have fallen out of the tree and the other would be fighting bees. Which Henryk would follow things up by jumping down on the person directly below, to hopefully hit with a falling headbutt...or at least have a softer landing than the ground itself. And then try to disarm the one with the gun and bees by trying to snag it out of the person's hands with his whip. ✘ Actual Post count: 64 ✘ Effective post count: 57 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC: If I need to fix anything let me know. The petite druid was prepared for almost anything...but definitely was expecting this guy to act like a cartoon character. If she were not under attack right now, she might have taken the time to be rolling on the ground in laughter. Luckily, she had a mind to resist it. But, she will enjoy telling her teammates about this little slice of humor. As he struggled above her, she would take his sword. Keeping low, she would move to the cover of another tree about a meter from her current location. Before she would get ready to manipulate another plant from her safe spot, she would spot a humorous sight.
The small army of aura primates was a pleasant surprise."'Bout damn time,"She called out to their beast master teammate. Whether he heard her or not, that did not really matter at this time. Her forest green eyes would scan the foliage and treetops."Where's...There he is!"Chloris internally sighed with relief at the sight of their beloved, if reckless, team leader making his way through the branches...And cause more chaos."Geez,"She sighed and shook her head before moving away. Her oak staff changing to a military fork weapon about 6 feet tall in total.
While their leader and the monkeys had the tribal people occupied, the druid turned her attentions to their teammates...and the horned man?!"What in the world?!"Chloris thought, bewildered. If she had not noticed he was trying to help out their water elemental, she might have just attacked him. Instead, she would take this advantage that he was helping them...for now. Moving from one cover to the next, the petite young woman was taking advantage of being a smaller than average human being.
"Henryk! Fall back,"She called out on a whim, when/if he ever got within earshot. Whether he actually heard her or not, she was uncertain."Damn hicks!"Chloris cursed in her mind. Though it eased her mind to think that they would not be shot at As much, she knew there was still dangers ahead.
Calmly, she would crouch behind a tree, less than a meter from Lizardman and his death targets."Hm,"She sighed and nodded to herself before trying to sneak up from behind one of the tribesman, pointing her weapon at their back, pressed firm but not enough to break skin."Back down, or yer blood will fertilize this here ground,"Chloris said coldly, southern twang quite audible. She was ready for a fight, but the little woman also hoped she would not have to kill him...

Ella Fletcher "Would you like to go for a swim?"
So much was happening right now, Ella was so concerned for her other teammates that she was beginning to stop focusing on what was happening to her. The tribe member charged at her with his sword high and she held her staff upwards, to attempt to block it, like Remus had taught her. Her strength was not her strong point however, and although she knew this was going to hurt, she knew it would potentially give her a chance of surviving the blow and moving into a more advantageous position - unless she was dead. Her face went strong as did her arm as she held her weapon up, however, the man suddenly stopped as something evidently impacted him from behind. Ella saw this as an instant opening and moved backwards, looking for whatever had sent the arrow at him. Remus came into view briefly, and Ella couldn't help but let out a short lived grin, she had never been so pleased to see him in her life. She was about to say something, however was soon distracted by the horned man from before.
He was coming towards her, her heart began racing as she knew she couldn't survive a fight against him. She breathed out heavily as he stopped in front of her, acting as a shield for her? Ella was extremely confused, only moreso by his words to her. "We will meet again? The best for me?" she thought to herself, the bookworm who knew most things was now dumbfounded by the change in events. She nodded to the man however and took his advice, "T-thank you! Please... my team.." she said, as she placed her staff on her back and ran towards the merchants. Signaling for them to keep running, "Keep going! We're almost there!" she yelled, catching up with them. If he was now on their side, she was a little less worried for her team. Ella was a huntress in training, she had a mission and she would attempt to see it through, the quicker the group was able to move to the village in sight now the better.

Planet of the Apes LOLs:
Amber's fingers found purchase in fur but just getting a hold of her attacker wasn't good enough. Pull as she might it was no easy task to get it off. The baboon was after her and was scratching at her. All the while it stubbornly clung to her as she fought it. Eventually she managed to pull it it off and throw the animal away, but it came at the price of loosing what it was holing onto to. Fabric ripped as the stitching in her shirt gave out and the whole sleeve and a good chunk of the left shoulder was torn away as she finally threw the baboon away. The primate jumped about waving the portion of her shirt it had about like a victory flag as it further humiliated and evaded her by using the trees for cover every time she tried to shoot it. Watching the scene would remind anyone of someone flailing about as the failed at that old arcade game called whack-a-mole.
Rusty wasn't having much better luck. The baboon was stronger than him and the white knuckled grip he had on his gun was just barely keeping it from being ripped from his hands. Then the thing started hitting him in the face with one of it feet. The weight of the animal as it fought with him was sure to be throwing off his balance and if he fell then there was no hope of keeping hold of his gun. As he struggled a pair of whooping baboons jumped and ran by, waving guns about as trophies, with Albus and Ivy chasing after them shouting in anger. Before they moved out of Rusty's field of view one of the baboons stopped and turned to start shooting back at the pair of tribesmen chasing after them. A short burst that ended with the primate taking off again before the two could get close enough to make a dive for their stuff assuming they were lucky enough to survive the hail of bullets yet again.
The last of the baboons whooped and jumped from branch to branch in celebration of not only getting Moss's gun, but having put it right up to the guy and blown him away. Even if he had a side arm it was a very bad idea to play tag with a primate in a tree and now Moss wasn't in the tree. After a good minute of celebration the baboon settled down on a branch and pulled it's lips back into a vicious snarl. In actuality it was probably just smiling because it was pleased at having found another target. A gunman on the ground below it. It pointed the gun at the target and opened fire with a howl of a war cry.
The first arrow struck true to its target but glanced off the man's aura. Remus growled in frustration and readied the second as planned. What he had not expected in his plan was the rogue element in the fight to insert itself. Sinn raced into the fight on Ella's behalf. That shocked and surprised Remus so much that he delayed his shot. Instead watching as Sinn attacked the two members of the Tribe and drove them away from Ella. He then moved in on her and shielded her from danger. Remus could tell that he was saying something based on what he could still see of Ella's reactions. There was no way to know what exactly was being said between them without having to ask Ella about it when they got back to the safety of their own dorm room. The two tribesmen where moving to attack Sinn again so Remus raised his bow again and loosed the second arrow. Unfortunately it was stopped as well. Though by sheer dumb luck this time instead of the targets aura.
Remus clicked his tongue in annoyance. For targets that are so willfully ignoring a sniper attacking them they have an uncommon level of survivability. They may actually have spent time around Henryk and had some of his luck rub off on them. Remus was about to charge them in favor of a more direct approach when he noticed something moving. A bit of bobbing blue in the green of the undergrowth. 'Where did it go?' Remus turned and narrowed his eyes to search the space between the trees until he saw the blue fluttering about again. It was Chloris's hair standing out against the foliage as she sneaked around to get closer to the two tribesmen fighting against the guy that had helped Ella get away. 'What is she up to?' He wondered as he watched her close in. His left eyebrow rising an inch when she left cover to lower a weapon against one of the two men. Her movements didn't have any of the speed or force that would indicate that she intended to outright attack them while thier backs were turned. 'She isn't just attacking him but is trying to capture them?'
This was a course of action that was more risky than Remus typically expected of Chloris. At least until he remembered the whole grimm rodeo incident earlier. He sighed softly and drew another arrow. IT could be worse. She was sort of ambushing the guy and putting him in a disadvantageous position. So it might work, be better with some help. Especially since there are two of them. Remus moved up and just for caution sake he added dust to the arrow before he nocked it. He picked up his pace to get into place fast enough. He could hear Chloris talking now. So she wasn't looking to take prisoners just force them to tuck tail and leave.
Remus planted his feet and drew his bow as he raised it to train the projectile held ready to fire upon the back of the man Chloris wasn't holing at trident point. The arrow's broad head dancing with yellow light as electrical energy sparked off of it with a soft buzzing hum of power. "I recommend that you listen to the lady's kind offer and cut your losses now." Remus added firmly. A moment after the pair of baboons that Albus and Ivy had been chasing barreled out of a cluster of what looked like berry bushes with a war cry accompanied by the bangs of gun fire as they unloaded bursts at a Tribe member heading for their clearing. The pair of them leaping into a guns blazing tackle to both shoot and drive the blindsided guy to the ground before bounding off again before their pursuers could catch up, assuming they aren't just roaming gunbaboons by now. Remus glanced over at the scene saying, "Get your wounded and get out of here. The offers on the table and it isn't going to be again."

Sinn made a vexed sound as the unexpected arrow went flying by him and inadvertently alerted the two tribe members who were attacking Meredy to his presence. He hadn't gotten the kill shot he wanted, but the important thing was they were focused on him now and not Meredy. " I realize this is all very confusing, but believe me when I say I want the best for you. Take them and run, don't stop and don't look back. We will meet again.." He hurriedly told her while blocking a sword swing. He grinned when she didn't argue and ran off to join the merchants. The fight didn't last much longer. The blue-haired girl came up from behind one of the two, putting her weapon to his back, giving a threat that impressed even him. Meanwhile, the archer held a lightning arrow at the ready, pointed at the other. Both were quick to drop their weapons and raise their hands in the air. "Well, it looks like you all have this covered." He grinned. As if to prove his point, one of the tribe members came running out of the trees screaming about bees, while two others ran out, after spectral baboons with guns. Sinn gave a casual wave, before walking towards the woods. They could try to stop him of course, but it would mean risking their captives taking advantage of the distraction.
"So...uhh we'll just be going now..." One that didn't have a military fork to his back took a nervous step backwards, away from the weapon he had dropped on the ground.
