Captain ReineriteReinerite chooses to search the Garden. (Score to date: 5 + 5 + 3 + 3 + 5) Maybe it was the first swing that did it, or mayhaps it was the second - but either way the illusions faded away to once again reveal the sparkling youma just prior to said youma turning to dust–
And if Reinerite wanted to imagine that there was a look of surprise on the youma's face?
Well it was her prerogative, wasn't it.
The appeared to have unsealed with the dusting of the youma, leaving Reinerite free to make her over to the other room where she was able to make her way down via dumbwaiter.
Grey eyes glanced around noting that The mist crawling over the lands at the farthest end of the tavern pathway appeared to have disappeared at some point, revealing both a garden as well as what appeared to be an orchard.
Reinerite turned away from the orchard, because she didn't think that she'd find much amongst the burned and withered trees, catching sight of Gunningite as the Lieutenant walked towards the garden just up ahead of her.

Lt. Geocronite chooses to search the Orchard. (Points: TB Calculated and Linked) Geo shouldn't have done that. He really shouldn't have done what he had. He should not have used his "weapon" on his illusion. It was still an illusion, but it was actually a mirror. One that apparently had some sort of image in it or something, but that didn't matter, as he had managed to stab himself because of his attack bouncing off of it. He cursed to himself, holding his now bloody-hand and dismissed his weapon. The youma was killed off by the others and he followed them outside of the building, trying to ignore the pain that was coming from his hand for the moment. They now had two choices as to where they should go next, and Geocronite decided that he would go and look in the Orchard. After all, the mist had disappeared for a bit. Though that would just make him an easier target for the youma. The garden was also a good choice. Everyone else was going towards it. Might as well break the mold though, right? He headed toward the orchard, still clutching his bleeding hand, hoping that his healing would stop it from bleeding for too long.

[Prompt 6 - Answers] Choice 1 The group searching the old orchard don’t find much of anything at first. There’s a dead tree here, and one over there, and a particularly funny looking one over there. Just when it seems like they might be leaving the area completely empty handed, they spot a rather dense clump of blackened trees surrounding an old gazebo. Although it’s in pretty poor repair, the roof inside holds the remnants of an old painting. It clearly shows a beautiful white tower surrounded by stars, with a bright beam shooting out of it. At first it appears as if it might be a lighthouse, especially since there are waves on one side, but the light itself seems to be shooting up into the stars and not across the ocean. It’s pretty, but not quite what they were looking for. +4 points

Choice 2 The group that heads to the garden are immediately aware that the only thing worth searching is the old hedge maze at the heart. The majority of it is missing entirely, with only dark outlines on the ground to show where it once stood, but the very heart of it has been crystallized. It definitely seems like a good place to hide something you don’t want others to find. After a few wrong turns and annoyed grumbles, they find the center of what was once a great work of art. The centerpiece is a statue of a rather tubby, jolly fellow holding a barrel of what they can only assume is ale over one shoulder. Once upon a time, this might have actually been a fountain, pouring water in place of alcohol. His other hand is extended outwards toward onlookers, palm upward. Melded into his hand is what they’ve been looking for the entire time - the crystalline gear. +5 points

[Prompt 7 - Zone B Finale Battle] After the crystalline gear is located, a summons goes out on their tablet communicators - all team members are to return to the garden. As everyone gathers back around, Uvarovite steps up to the statue and tries to remove the gear from the open palm of the jolly man. Even with all of his strength, it seems to be fused too well, the statue not caring at all that the General seems to be a man used to getting his way.
Just as it seems he might break the hand off entirely to bring the gear back with them, he’s interrupted by the sound of shattering crystal and a cloud of thick, purple dust. A giant, ape-like youma has burst through the crystal hedges of the maze! Two great fists pummel his chest as he rears back onto his hind legs, throwing a shadow over Uvarovite and the statue before him. A few sharp eyed soldiers note that the youma has a faint resemblance to the statue of the jolly man. Could this have once been the Tavern Keeper? With one loud, thunderous roar, the battle has begun.

[The Boss] is a giant two-legged creature with a strong underbite and arms almost as thick as his torso. His legs and feet are small, making his speed poor, but he makes up with his physical prowess. - He has ??? health - he will be dead by time frame rather than actual HP count. - His special ability is a ground smash. He raises both fists and slams them into the ground, causing a ripple of earth to knock the player off of their feet.
[For Battle] All characters will use the 6 sided die: * Rolling 1 - 5 = damage to boss, you collect a point for every damage done (1 damage = 1 point, 3 damage = 3 points). * Rolling 6 = This initiates the boss effect, your character earns no points for this turn. * SPECIAL BONUS, If you picked up a silver coin in prompt 2, you are immune to the boss effect because the tavern master has confused you for a loyal patron instead of an intruder. Instead, you do 6 damage and collect 6 points if the number 6 is rolled.
- A character may post a dice roll every 8 hours. (You may have a maximum of 3 rolls, and no more, even if I am late closing this thread for some reason.)
