Tymiko the Pirate Girl

"Oh...well that's good..." He hurried to keep up with her on his short legs, prefering to walk with Minerva instead of his usual method of transportation. He didn't feel like flying just now.

As he ran faster, he managed to catch her outstretched hand, allowing her to guide him to her house. He wondered what it was like. As far as he knew, Tymiko and he weren't really together very often, but he didn't think she had an actual house; she wasn't too fond of buildings, and she much rather preferred the outdoors. She had told him there was a place, though, that gave her a sense of belonging...

A place Puck tried to avoid if he could help it. It was far too chaotic in Neverland.

As Minerva continued walking, a smile appeared on her face. She walked past random other places, paying no attention to them. Finally she crossed a green lawn, bringing Puck with her. "This is where I live, hopefully Zukin's not here because she's gonna bug me if she is." She turned towards the doorway and beamed. "Hi!"

A woman stood there, looking about her early 20's. Long black hair pulled into a high ponytail, black hoody with beige cargo pants, leaning against the doorframe of an open door. "I'm glad you're back Minerva, I was starting to get worried about you!" She turned to Puck and smiled. "You must be the famous Puck we hear about all the time, how are you, I'm Rogue." She said with a smile. "I trust you two had fun?"

Minerva simply nodded, "yup, tons and tons."

"that's great, hey, you two hungry? We just got a pizza delivered, but... oh, your guardian might not like you out after dark," She thought out loud to herself. "Oh well, Puck you're welcome to join us, if you wish."

Puck smiled shyly, waving a little to the lady, who he had to assume was Minerva's gaurdian. Noting her appearence, he figured here was someone who could have authority over children, unlike Tymiko, who was not much more than a child herself.

"I...uh...pleased to make your aquaintance, Lady Rogue" he greeted, bowing majestically. "I've heard much of you as well...and I am indeed that very Puck...so sorry to keep her so long...we, erm...had a little trouble at the castle, but Minerva got us through it alright. She has quite a talent for magic." He felt stupid being so formal, but when he was shy, which was hardly ever, (he couldn't recall a time when he had felt such a need to be so curteous) he tended to act formal.

"After we finally managed to escape the castle, we thought we'd see the sunset, but I'm afraid I hadn't realized how late it's been getting."

His smile widened when Minerva mentioned they had tons of fun, glad she had enjoyed their daring little adventure that had turned out to have more unexpected surprised than either had predicted.

His attention turned back to Rogue when she mentioned being hungry. "Uh...that's really be appreciated, I think...gaurdian?" he tilted his head, picturing Ty worrying about him. Nope...it wouldn't come. Instead he got a mental image of her as a leopard standing over him, her teeth bared, ready to rip him to shreds. A shiver went down his spine.

"No...I'm sure she wouldn't mind. I have no idea where she might be at the moment, anyway...you see, I kind of ran off, and she was a little too distracted to do much about it, but she knows I'm with Minerva, so she said it's alright." Well, most of it was the truth...

"I...I am?" He...Puck...was welcome to join them? He didn't ever recall being invited to join anyone before. He glanced at Minevra, hoping for some sort of sign.

Rogue crossed her arms casually over her chest "trouble? Well as long as you had fun and didn't get hurt... I have no reason to doubt you two... unless I start getting phone calls, you know how much I hate dealing with people, especially over the phone... most of them are irritating." She grinned.

"I don't mind if Minerva's out a little late if she's not by herself, I mean you're supposed to have fun as children after all," She nodded before heading into the house "well, that's good. If you ever get in trouble for staying over here, you just bring her to talk to me, alright?" She glanced over her shoulder and smiled "of course you're welcome, now get in here before I have to make you!" she teased before disappearing into the house.

Minerva giggled, grabbing one of Puck's hands and heading towards the doorway "come on Puck, my house wont bite you!" She giggled, "come on, come on! We have pizza, more of that yummy mortal, with no brainfreezes. And I have cool movies and toys and... get in here." She grinned and ran to the doorway before turning around.

"Unless you wanna go home, where there's no pizza waiting for you?" She asked with a teasing grin.

((I'm just gonna finish this part in the meantime because I don't wanna leave it hanging. We can just continue while we think of a new idea...one might come!))

"Irritating people...hmm, you don't say?" Puck grinned back. He liked the woman already. "No phone calls here..." Whatever in the name of Titiana phones were anyway...Tymiko probably wouldn't have a clue how to call anyone on it.

"Oh yeah...children..." How was he supposed to have his fun if he couldn't use his magic? Being a child was all that prevented Tymiko from telling him, he was sure. Still, if Minerva was around with her own magic, there never was a dull moment. "Uh...um..." hesitantly, stared at the open doorway as Minevra pulled him toward it.

"Can't we stay outside? The moon's full tonight..." Coward, he told himself. Still, he wasn't that ready to embrace mortal life. If he got in there and learned too much about mortal things...well, he thought enough like them as it was.
PostPosted: Thu Jun 22, 2006 9:16 pm

((sure, alrighty. I didn't want this to just die off anyways. n.n
because of how this started, Minerva can't fly or do the kitty thing *even though she wouldn't anyways, xd ))

Minerva tilted her head, thinking about his proposal of... the moon. Still holding on to Puck's hands, she slowly grinned. "It's really pretty," She thought out loud as she looked up at the moon, it was indeed full.

Turning away from the moon to the front door, Minerva muttered something under her breath, making the door shut automatically before she turned to Puck and winked.

"Scared of my mortal house?" She teased, "we don't have to go in it if you don't want to." Dropping one of Puck's hands, she led him away from her house with the other. "She probably knows we're not going to come in anyways, let's go Puck!" She enticed him with the non-mortal house, grinning the whole way.

((Hehe, that works...))

It was funny how mortals never tired of the moon. For immortals it was just another common sight that they occasionally grew weary of watching. Still, it was a good enough excuse as any. He shrugged. "I suppose..."

Startled, he turned toward the shut door, almost falling out of the air, then noticed Minerva's wink.

"N-not really...it's just that...well, I don't want that bat girl 'sister' of yours to come shoo me away...and besides...I could sense a lot of iorn in there and I didn't want to take any chances...whoa! Slow down, will you?"

"Er...where exactly was it you planned on going to?"

((AH HA! I've got a plan! Stupid/short as it may be, it's something for them to do in the mean time...if they manage to find some sort of reflective surface...I know for a fact Puck's got other ways of doing magic than spells...aw, but if this is the past, then he wouldn't really be able to use it...would he? *wonders if his feeling for Minevra have changed in between* I figured they grew since then, but then I wouldn't know...))
PostPosted: Thu Jun 22, 2006 10:28 pm

((well, ... yeah, they've changed alot.
Oh well, I say we just bring them up to speed. xd
I say they've changed a bit, or at least how he acts around her.
He went from telling her to 'be careful' to blowing a wound away, XD))

Minerva grinned "what is it? Am I going too fast for you?" She questioned, slowing her speed down.

"Zukin's harmless, she wouldn't do anything to you. But... if there's any iron, then you're not allowed in my house until I can remove it." Her feet slowly rose off the ground as she pulled Puck away from her house slowly.

"Does it really matter?" she asked with a shrug, a playful smile on her lips.

((I agree...he's changed too much to go back now, including the fact he's become somewhat jealous of her mastery of magic. blaugh

Hmm...wounder if that would be overstepping his bounderies...you think? sweatdrop I know he does minor magic without spells, but I'm not really aware of all of them...))

"I'd just like a warning if you're going to rush by and snatch me out of thin air...and that girl's a teen now if I'm right, and you can never really trust teens..." He trembled at the thought of teenagers. they bothered him now more than ever, and he wasn't sure he wanted to become one anymore, even if it meant magic. Teenagers seemed to be a crusial life phase for humans. For every other living creature, it was just a simple stage between adulthood and childhood.

The iorn commment made him stare at her. "How will you know if you've removed it all? I could feel iorn in the very walls! You're not seriously thinking of tearing down the place? I doubt your Rogue would be too pleased about that." He managed a small smile. "But thanks anyway. I really can do without human dwellings, but if I ever need one, the castle's the safest. All stone."

"Well...guess not...as long as...you're happy with it, I don't think I'd mind much."

"Castle? Safe? Funny Puck, very funny." She grinned.

"Well... what could we do, what could we do..." she looked around them as she continued gliding in the air when suddenly her eyes caught something.

"Hey Puck, how do you feel about water?" She asked, a smirk pulling at her lips. She hadn't gone swimming in ages, and she bet Puck hadn't either, it just didn't seem like something he would do. It was probably a 'Stupid mortal activity' in his mind.

He chuckled, shrugging. "Was it not the mortals who created castles to keep them safe from their enemies? Then again...they were also the first to create enemies..."

"Water...why is that? I figured a witch wouldn't go for water...I heard they melt," he teased, looking at her out of the corner of his eye.
PostPosted: Sat Jun 24, 2006 12:00 am

Minerva slowly drifted away from Puck, "mortals are stupid." she spoke simply. Even though she was a mortal herself, it was true. Most will do anything for a quick dollar, even when it wasn't worth it in the end.

Giggling at Puck's next words, she shrugged her shoulders "that's just what they want you to think!" And with that said, she floated behind a big tree where a glowing light appeared. A few seconds later it disappeared and Minerva stood there in shorts and a t-shirt.

"But just for the heck of it, let's test that theory!" Landing on the ground gently, she ran a little ways away until she reached a lake, tossing her hat to the side and jumping in immediately.

It.Was.Cold.

Minerva swam to the surface of the water and brushed her hair out of her face "well... that wasn't one of my best plans." She admitted with a laugh.

He tilted his head a little, still smirking at her. "Really? I never could have imagined...though humans in particular seem to have lost their sense long ago..."

Puck blinked, watching Minerva disappear behind the tree and then reappear. "That was something new..."

"Uh oh...hey, no! Wait! Minerva!" Afriad the little joke might have some truth, for he still really wasn't sure just what type of witch Minerva was, Puck flew after her, but caught up a little too late. He put his hands up to shield himself from the cascade of water drops.

"That's freezing! You can't possibly melt in that!" he gasped as the cold lake water touched his pale fae skin. Quickly he decended and grabbed her wrists to pull her out of the water and onto shore.

"Even if you couldn't prove witches melt with water, you sure proved something else," he commented rather harshly, setting her down on dry land. "Mortals sure haven't changed. Stupid as ever. Now you're going to catch a cold!"
PostPosted: Sat Jun 24, 2006 10:36 pm

Minerva smirked as Puck pulled her out of the water, "But I wanted to test the theory, and if I was going to melt, at least I'd melt with a bang... or splash." She said while shrugging.

SHe stood there, now completely soaked in cold water, and standing outside of the water, with wind. She shrugged again "I wont get sick, don't worry. I'll change myself back once I dry off, 'kay?" Not even commenting on the 'stupid' part, of course she was, the tone didn't have to be so harsh though, did it? The way she figured, was that she was a child, she had to have some fun... even thought it was a little too stupid, even for her.

"Sorry."

((You said something about a reflective surface, in a pm... I believe...
here you go, ;p xd ))

((I certainly did...^^ though I don't know if it was in a pm or not...))

"And then what good would that do? Rogue would end my immortal life and you'd have no thought for me. Theories are stupid anyhow. It's what you believe that counts." He said, throwing a rock into the lake as he settled on the grass beside her.

Puck shook his head at Minerva's state. "Pathetic. Come here." Draping an arm around her to keep her warm, the fae boy sighed. "Don't apologize. You shouldn't have to -" He cut off, suddenly distracted.

"Hey...well would you look at that...huh..." He leaned over, trying to get a better glimpse of whatever he was looking at. It turned out to be his reflection in the dark waters of the lake surface. the full moon shone brightly overhead, illuminating their reflections. Being a fae, Puck enjoyed mirrors as all did. Reflections were a huge source of fun, and though he had protrayed and manipulated many during his time trapped in Titania's mirror, he hadn't actually gotten to see himself for a long while. A memory came to him.

"Minerva?" he asked, not taking his eyes off the dark water. "Do you know what you'd wish for if you had one wish?" He spoke as if in a daze, like the trance the white rose had put him under. "Do you know your heart's deepest desire? I think...I could show you, if you like..." He looked at her, a twinkle in his eye as he smiled.
