Eira Post 9 Eira couldn't help but to laugh at the reaction that she got out of Ergon by teasing him just a little bit, "Oh wow, I really do adore you, Ergon darling. You're far too cute for your own good." She gave him a bright smile and said, "If I thought I could get away with it I would take you home with me for sure!" Giving a smile she said, "It's south of Dernd, near to the border between Sauti and Tale. It's a wonderful piece of land that I've been working to develop for years now, always adding to it, making it more and more welcoming. We even have a simple bathhouse now!" She sounded quite pleased with the progress of the place from the sounds.

While there was still a bit of tension it did appear that there was a majority willing to aid the Alkidikes. Many seemed to want more information, which many of the leaders agreed was fair, and more knowledge was to be promised before anyone marched into battle. Stepping forward Freya raised a hand to silence the crowds, “First, we wish to thank those who have decided to stand with us in this upcoming war. Secondly, for those who do not wish to fight none of us will hold it against you. Protect your homes, keep your countries safe while others are away. That is all we ask.” Her golden gaze was steady as she surveyed the entire group of earthlings, “Thirdly, we do not mean to march tonight nor will we march in the morning. Instead we will send a delegation to the Alkidikes to seek more knowledge while informing them of our intentions to give them aid. None of us wish to rush blindly into a war with these strange enemies, we simply wish to prepare ourselves.” She glanced towards Enki who stepped forward.
“That in mind we do wish to offer an area here for those who wish to stay close and want to train for the upcoming battles. Those who wish to go home first may feel free and some of us encourage it so that you can rest and see your families safely off.”He shrugged his shoulders, “It will take time so no one has to worry about us starting a war just yet but we did wish to be prepared and to inform you of our intentions. I’m glad that so many agreed and I am eager to have you all fighting alongside of me as we go against these creatures.”
Enlil stood next to his brother and after Enki finished speaking he greeted the crowd, “For those that have travelled far we have tents set up so that you may rest for the evening. We will have food prepared for those who need and for the evening feel free to relax.” He glanced towards the Gaein who nodded behind him.
“Yes, for those from Belrea our ships will take a couple of days to refuel so please take this time to enjoy the company of others. Your cabins are still available to you and we have plenty of food still in storage. Still, we thank you for the hospitality and will offer what aid we can from overseas.” He grinned towards the other leaders, “I hope we can learn a lot about our cultures and find what strengths we can for this upcoming battle. It seems we have a bit to discuss still and so we shall dismiss the crowds now?”
“It sounds like a good plan to me.” Vescillea agreed as she too stepped forward, “I suppose our meeting is over. Please feel free to reach out to any of us if you have concerns or interest in training in the area. For now please enjoy yourselves and take the time to mingle with those here. We thank those again who are offering their aid and wish the best for those who guard their homes.” And just like that the meeting was dismissed. Those that could would mingle and for many this was a chance to explore the area, something especially intriguing for those from Belrea. They could take the night to relax to gather information and then prepare for tomorrow. All the leaders just hoped that time would be on their side in this upcoming war with the Dretch.

It was a magnificently mundane show of unity. She'd never once been in a position where she was so close to a Talean, let alone raising a joined fist to the sky in a show of support for a war no one wanted any part of. Elia could see her mother's strained face from the corner of her eye; it was as if the woman were simultaneously proud of her daughter's bold declaration...and wanting to smack her for it, all the same.
There would surely be a talk about this later, she knew it.
"May I know your name? You are holding my hand, after all, and if I see you again in Jauhar I would like to know what to call you."

Urosangylea post 7 So... that was that. Lips pursing, Uro started to look around for her grandmother. Brow rising at the request, she turned to face Elia with a light smile. "My name is Urosangylea, but you may call me Uro if you prefer. I understand some prefer not saying my whole name, though I enjoy it. I'm sure your name is as love;y as you are~" She looked down at their joined hands as though noticing it for the first time, and then back up. Giving their joined hands a squeeze, she loosened her fingers finally to relinquish her hold. "I would be glad to see you in Jauhar if the call comes."

There had been much tension in the air that it had made the hair on the back of her neck stand on end. Why wouldn't those of these lands want to help others? Was there some large rift that caused all this? Shaking her head, Limbree looked around looked as people moved to leave. Seems the meeting was well and over and it was an agreement to help these Alks. For the time being things were calmer and things were turning to other things.
"Come on Skitter, lets see if we can't get something to eat.
After eating on the ship I am ready for anything these lands have to offer." She scratched her companion's chin as it chattered in her ear in agreement.

Ergon post 9 Cheeks flushing dark, Ergon's eyes shifted away awkwardly. "Thank you... ma'am. I have.. much.. to keep.. me busy at.. home," he murmured. It was almost a relief when he heard the meeting officially called to an end. Time to escape! Wait, Sauti and Tale border? So, she did not live in Zena currently. That was unfortunate. No wonder the woman was so bold. No manners among the Sautians... "Well, let's get you to your friend over there, Miss Eira. Maybe I will see your inn some day."

Eira Post 10 Giving a smile and a nod she said, "I suppose I will let you go then, I would hate to interfere with the work that calls you home." He really was far too adorable for his own good making her hope that he actually did come to visit at some point, even if just for a chat. While she had no real plans to actually eat him up it was fun to tease him just a bit. "That would be nice! It seems like he's finishing up." The Wind tribesman was looking over in their direction after all, waving to her. She walked over with Ergon to where the merchant was standing, wanting with her among others of his similar job, and she greeted them all. Turning to look at Ergon she said, "I do thank you, Ergon darling, you made an excellent escort and kept me safe from Dretch and thieves alike. I won't forget your kindness and hard work." She released his arm that she'd been holding onto, leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek and said, "Don't forget to come visit."

Ergon post 10 Yes, work at home. Focus. He could go home now, and be out of this mess. Walking toward the friend, he tried to raise his head again in a more respectable manner. Just escorting a lady back to her friend... Ergon gave polite nods to those Eira greeting, but refrained from speaking. Awful lot of non-Zenans there... Brow rising at Eira's praise, Ergon shook his head slightly. "It was no trouble, I-" The kiss sent the heat rushing along the rest of his face. "I'll... try," he managed, voice cracking like a teenager's. That was the final straw. Giving a stumbley sort of bow, he spun on his heel to escape the attention, relieved that his visits to the Tale border end of Sauti were quite limited...

Lixes Post 8 Lixes gave a sigh of relief, "Probably a good thing that we have to go back home. It means that we can let our parents know what is going on and what we are planning to do." He knew that they might not be too happy about it but surely they would understand, right? They were getting older after all and it was time for them to really take steps forward toward being adults. The first thing being to help out the various members of the tribes that did want to get together to deal with the Dretch. "Come on, let's get moving then. The sooner we are back in Andile the sooner that we will be able to start training! I want to make sure that I'm ready for whatever is ahead of us. Besides, you owe me a duel still, Drexl." He gave his brother a nudge then started forward, eager to lead the way.

Jerami watched Lixes as he started forward then looked up at Drexl, "You're going to be dueling with Lixes? Do you want me to watch in case one of you needs patched up after?" He didn't want to see either of them at risk of being hurt after all, not when there was an important battle coming up. It would give him a chance to sharpen his healing skills as well, so that they were ready for the battles ahead. He wanted to be able to keep everyone safe and healthy if possible.
Holding on tight to Drexl he started forward, following along after Lixes, not wanting to risk losing him in the crowd. Now that the talks were over a lot of people were milling about meaning they could easily get lost if not careful, not something they could allow to happen. Not with someone like Lixes who was too eager for his own good.

Eira 11 Eira lifted an arm, waving after Ergon as the boy ran off. Once he was out of sight she lowered her hand, covering her mouth so she could muffle a giggle, "Oh my but he was such a cute one! I must say today has been fun despite the dour mood of the meeting over all." She said to the gathered merchants, stepping closer to her friend, and found herself soon chatting with the group about various things. They would be heading for soon enough but might as well do a bit of wheeling and dealing which she had so many merchants present.

Drexl Post 7 Drexl rolled his eyes then looked down to Jerami. "That would be great if we had a healer on standby." he glanced to his brother. Reaching out to snag the other back to his side. After making sure Lixes was within reach he then led the other two through the crowd. Glad for his tall stature for once as he made sure no one messed with either of his most cherished people in this world. He only hoped that his Alk sisters would accept the help...
