He did as his teacher was told to sit down. As much as he likes to fight he isn't that into violence to fight with a teacher especially since they could kill yea. On his way to his seat. A short fellow, rushing towards him and jumped over the students to give him a hug. Oswald din't know what to think and was slightly confused by this guys actions. Some kid went flying to give him a hug. There are serveral ways he can handle the situation. Each of them could put this kid in a hospital. But as tension was high as it is. Oswald doesn't want to be the first to get set to the hospital so in a second to spare before he was hugged, he brought his right hand up and looked like he was about to throw a punch to the enthusiastic kid. And with a motion of 'throwing a punch' he at the last minute opened his palm and grabbed the kid by the shirt. "What are you on?...Hmm" He asked if this kid was on drugs or something and noticed two stuends waving to his direcion. His new team. He waved back with his open hand that wasn't grabbing the student. "Hey....And..I'm guessing we're teamates too?" He asked the Faunus.
I stand ready to run towards danger. I stand ready to protect the innocent and defend the weak. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Cali was still very clearly anxious about the situation, but out in the hall, clasped in each other's arms, they were in their own little world. Holding each other like this, big thing else seemed to matter. It was just the two of them, everything else was just background noise and as long as they were together. They had spent most of their lives in their own little world. Blocking out the white static of everyday life, shielding each other from the pains and sorrows of their lives. Fighting together and fighting for each other. He held her there for a minute, letting the rhythmic beat of his heart calm her. He made his breathing deep and slow, hoping she would try to pace her ragged breaths with his own. He ran his fingers through her hair, the strokes slow and gentle. It was an interesting sight, surely to see such a large and muscled guy holding her, stroking her, as if she were as delicate as a rose petal. To him, in many ways, she was, though with a semblance like hers she had not always been treated as such, and that sparked an entirely different side of Eli. An angry and agressive one. One that would go to no ends to protect the fragile being within his arms.
"We'll sit in the very back." He agreed once she was calm enough to both breathe and speak. He lead her into the shenanigans filled classroom and maybe it was silly to be thankful for such a mess, but with everyone so distracted it made it easier for the pair to get by with minimal attention to themselves. While he didn't really mind one way or another, seeing as he was about the farthest thing away from shy and held absolutely no fear to the spot light, he knew this made the walk to their desks much easier for Cali. He kept her hand grasped tightly in his all the way up to the back of the classroom where he took a seat in an empty row of desks and gently tugged Cali into the one next to him. He kept his hand in hers for now, clung together in between the desks. He was protected for now by the thick leather of her gloves. Granted, he had a tendency to forget and let their touch linger too long even when there was a lack of anything to shield him from her decay. Not that he really minded.
Turning his electric orbs to the front of the class he watched as the woman who he knew to be rather small, but was currently nearly fifteen feet tall, return to the front of the room before slowly deactivating her semblance to return to her natural stature. With the class mostly in order, mostly being a rather loose statement, she launched into a story of her own past and development into the embalnce instructor she was today. He had to admit, it was a rather impressive feat to have come as far as she had despite the fact that she was blind. He could tell Cali was enjoying the story too. For Eli, it was nothing more than another reason to have all the more faith 8n Cali. If Kail could overcome her blindness, Cali could overcome her pestilence. He was sure of it. More so than ever after the meeting the other day. "You ready, Cali?" He questioned softly in her ear. Her task was going to be much different and much mire difficult than the others, but he was excited, both to see her progress and work on his own.

Tessa's hug was always welcomed, and not welcomed. It was a wonderful feeling, and borderline neck breaking. He would give her a hug back this time though. She deserved it. His focus soon returned to the other matter at hand though; Birdboy's arrival.
Narx didn't anticipate Danaë's reaction. She was right that he was being a bit mean, but what she said was totally uncalled for. He had been having extreme mood swings lately, but nothing justified being rude. "It's just---"He was having trouble finding the right words"---That you kept this a secret forever, and it has caused you a lot of pain...which causes us pain, and then he thinks he can just waltz back in and make everything better?!"He stood up as he spoke without thinking. He puffed air out and tried to calm down."I'm... Sorry, I just find it hard to control my anger lately." He leaned back into his seat and stared at the floor.
He probably would just make things worse if he kept speaking. He was riled up already from Cecil's rude comment. They all seemed to have high tensions as of late. Maybe they all needed a vacation of sorts. "I just feel like you have some explaining to do."Narx said looking straight at Asger. He may only have one eye, but it was a flaming spitfire of emotions."Danaë always tells me everything, but she never mentioned you until just the other day... Which means your absense was extremely painful. I don't like it when someone hurts my girlfriend!"He stopped. It was the first time he had referred to Danaë as his girlfriend. His cheeks started to burn red. Maybe he could pass it off as anger. He breathed in deeply and out just as slowly
His emotions were getting harder to control he felt. Both his fondness of his friends, and his anger. He didn't know why, but it was torture. Narx sighed. He needed to focus on class. The teacher was fortunately not able to hear them due to Danaë's semblance, but she likely wouldn't hold it for too much longer as they did need to focus.
After calming down a bit he closed his eye and when it next opened it was locked onto Asger. It revealed a kinder side now. He would try to be nice. He had to."My name is Narx."His tone was stern, but friendly this time.He through a hand out to shake, if accepted it would be a bit rough."Also, Prodigal is much different than prodigy."A prodigy was someone who excelled at something beyond what was considered normal, a prodigal was someone who was reckless, at least that was the connotation he was utilizing. That wasn't as nice as he meant to be."I apologize... Your name was Asger right? Well, you are welcome to hang out with us whenever you like... I know Danaë and you got a lot of catching up to do... Kail would hear a question from towards the back. Near where she had recently been. She didn't know the man's name, but she could tell it was a man's voice. She would clear her throat for a moment. "Yes, you have the ability to use your Semblences in this room, and if you wish to do it to keep order, then you may." She would wait a moment, and she would hear no questions directed at her. She did hear Yui, and she smiled a bit. She was doing well as a teacher, at least in one student's eyes. That was all that she wanted.
She would then speak up again. "Each of you will have your own assignments, you may work with each other, however your end goal is the same. To get a glimpse of what will happen when you are pushed to your limits. I will start listing off names with assignments that I have based on your student files.
Azura, you will be working with my assistant, Yui. I am aware that your illusions last a while, but I wish to hear if it can go longer. I know that I am unable to see your semblence, but I wish to hear what you can do!
Tessa, your control of your power was observed to lack finesse. Today we will be working on that." She would then point to a tiny blow up pool full of dirt. However, the teacher was about 10 ft off of where it actually was. The pool itself was blue, with little sea creatures around the sides. It was also see through, not that the teacher knew what it looked like.
"Narx and Ridely, I realized early on in my research that you have opposing semblences. Ridely, I know that it was observed that you have a limit in which you can cause pain. I want you to attempt to push that forward. Narx, I am sorry, but you will be in pain this class. I can not allow a lot of harm to come to a student, therefore we will test how long you can withstand the pain. You also will be in charge of making sure that students that hurt themselves will be healed.
Adam, you will also be working with me. You are to use Houdini on myself, I am curious to see if it effects the blind. Richard, I know that your ability is to enhance your weapons, through class today, I want you to push yourself, and your weapons. I want to see what you will become.
Cecil, while you infuriated me earlier, I still want to see progress. Your ice weapons, I want you to try to make a different kind of weapon. Danaë, while I am unable to know if you are in class, I did feel aura come up, so I assume you are here. You are to exhaust yourself, using your silence, I want to see where this path will lead you.
Oswald, I have prepared a dummy for you to punch, as I know that your semblence is one that causes a large amount of hurt on a person. I would rather not put Narx in anymore pain. I want to see your more powerful blows to become more frequent. Sakura, I want to hear what else you are able to do with your ice, maybe working with Cecil will help you both further yourself.
Ren...I can hear you slurring your words, and speaking too fast...Just, go sit in a corner and try not to get people drunk. Yui, my assistant, I want you to observe weaponry, and try to make some new ones. You did show me some, but I want to see how far you can push yourself.
Asger, your semblence is one of control. I want to see how far you can control your feathers."
She would then take a moment to breathe. There were a lot of students in the class, and she still had one more to do, the other one knew of her task. "Lastly, Elias, I want to see your zaps become stronger. I understand the implications, but this is something I wish to observe."
She knew she left Cali out, however, the student knew what her job was today. Today was about control. Kail was animated throughout the plans for each of the students, however, she now looked resigned to what was to be. She was to be punched, and used as a conduit of pain and healing. This was going to be an interesting day. "Do you have any questions?"
[[OOC: Ok, so this is time for em to explain the actual rules of this class. You are to use your semblences to their maximum powers, until you are about out of Aura. When you are about out of aura, you get one post with your level one semblence, and then you are out of aura.]]

To say he was not relieved at the return of his sister would have been an understatement. Was it silly to rely on his sister to defend him? Maybe. But, this was her team. Her friends. Not to mention he was so awful at social situations anyway. He was silent as she spoke, silent still as Narx responded. It didn't take long for Asger to put two and two together. They were a couple. He had put it together before the guy had even openly claimed Danae as his girlfriend. One of the many things he had to catch up on. He couldn't deny that instinctive urge to protect his sister against this seemingly snarky guy that she was with. It would be another lie to say that he didn't have the urge to simply hate the guy without giving him a chance, but that was so unlike him and beyond that, he would never go against his sister's will like that. Especially not after he had left her alone for so long. He was happy she had found someone to look after her in the meantime... Not to say she was incapable of defending herself, but it didn't hurt to have someone watching your back. He could tell that she cared about him, and thus he would do his best to be kind to him. For now he was safe, but were Asger to ever find out he had done something to hurt Danae, that would all change.
Narx's words cut like a knife, even if it weren't intentional. Asger visibly flinched at the confirmation of just how much pain he had caused his sister. Blue eyes were wide for a moment before dropping to the floor, a look that was nothing short of shame and guilt crossed his face. Shoulders slumped, dark wings dropping behind him. He was polite, respectful, in spite of everything, and waited for Narx to finish before forcing his gaze up. "I can assure you it was never my intention to cause my sister pain... while I will forever hate myself for the mistakes I've made I want nothing more than to make up for them now." He stated, speaking to Narx but the words themselves were meant more for Dane than anyone else, a continuation from his early apology. It had gotten cut a bit shorter than he'd liked, but he hadn't expected his reunion with his sister to take place on the first day of class. "There is no doubt that I have a plethora of explaining, but I can't help but think that explaining is owed to Danae, and not her um... well, you..." He started, his voice trailing off towards this end. He wasn't intending to be rude, but he still wasn't sure how he felt about Danae having a boyfriend. She would always be his baby sister in his eyes. "Where, when, and with whom that conversation takes place with will be entirely up to her."
He knew the feathered girl was using her semblance to keep their conversation hidden from their blind teacher, but his eyes kept darting to the front of the class where she was beginning to list off instructions. At Narx's last comment, he simply side, once again cursing himself silently for his own stupidity. He always misheard or misspoke when he was under the pressure of social obligations. He didn't respond, but his cheeks took on a faint pink color as he quickly seated himself in a nearby empty desk. "You're forgiven." He stated simply, focusing on Narx out of the corner of his eye. "Truly, no one could be harder on me for my own actions but myself." He was relieved that the guy had seemed to calm down a bit, but he still seemed wary. The falcon would keep that in mind, keep his own distance for now. "Asger, correct... and that might be an understatement." He offered what he hoped was a friendly smile, but it didn't quite meet his eyes and the expression was awkward in and of itself.Turning his gaze forward once more, he focused on professor Shuer just as she got to his own name and task for the day. Ahhh... distance and control. He mused quietly to himself. The farthest he had been able to control his feathers at this level was within a twenty-five foot radius. He wandered just how far he would be able to push himself.

Danaë would sigh as she heard everything in the room, the dropping of pencils, every cough, even the teacher clearing her throat was almost deafening. Her Semblence was beautiful in the fact it captured the sound from an area, but it increased her vision and hearing as well. She looked towards Narx, and Asger. She noticed a scar on her brother's wings. His wings were always so flawless...what had happened to him? She kill anyone that had harmed him in the past.
Then, Narx said that Danaë was his girlfriend. Danaë's face turned bright red, and she used her feathered arms to hide her face. They had never called each other that in their time together, even though Danaë went to his bed every night to cuddle. She was caught off guard by it to say the least. This next letter to her and Asger's parents was going to be a long one.
She finally got control, even though her face was red. "Of course I was in pain. Asger was there for me when I was attacked as a child. He didn't save me, but he did make sure that I didn't become afraid of the world. When I heard that he disappeared, I was heart broken." Her face would return to a normal hue. "I had finally told my team because my parents received the contents of his dorm room. Signal had declared him killed in action. I didn't want to give up, so I asked for help..." There were small tears in her eyes. She didn't want Asger to see how much he had actually hurt her yet, but she knew that she had to explain herself.
Crap, the teacher knew she was here, and wanted her to use her Semblence to tire herself out. She was almost there already, but with everyone using their semblence, this could get noisy. Oh, this was not going to be a good class for her to be in. Maybe she should ditch...

XXXTo her delight, Eli had no objections to sitting near the back. In fact, he chose the very back for them... Knowing just how important distance was to the girl, and being able to be in their own little world meant all the more to her. With his fingers tightly laced with her own, she'd inch closely behind him as he pulled her through the stairwell, up towards the back seats of the class. In walking, she realised that the classroom was much larger than she had initially thought, as the ruckus seemed to quiet down quite a bit. It was a completely different atmosphere at the back of the class, one that she could actually breathe in... Find herself easing into the class and Eli's comforting self. He really did know the best way to work with her anxiety and knew every step for the best progress... Even if he made it worse by exposing her to new scenarios; it was a constant battle between them, but... He always knew what was best for her, and she tried to return the favor. Even if it was just watching his own condition. She would settle into her chair, a deep breath escaping her lips as her fingers lightly tapped away at the back of his hand... A nervous twitch, but also trying to get his attention. As she started, she'd glance over at him with the faintest, cutest smile. She wanted him to know just how much she appreciated him, no matter the circumstance.
Now was the overall lesson plan. It seemed that Kail had an idea for every student in the class. It wasn't just a special plan for her, but one that focused around each person's semblance to bring out the most in their capabilities, down to the fine details of their core functionality. Everyone was different, and it was incredibly responsible for the teacher to take the time to personalize each and everyone's experience. It was incredibly well thought out. ... The teacher's at Beacon was certainly something else, a much higher quality and more personalized experience than Signal. ... She noted something though. Two names of familiarity. Apparently, the winged assistant was to participate in class, something about the production of weapons. ... What exactly was her semblance? Then the other, of course, was her wonderful shadow that was supposed to 'work on his zaps.' A display that would surely bring attention to themselves, but... She wanted to root him on, so she'd stay by his side ... Maybe a small distance, so that she didn't get zapped by him. Though, it was something she was getting use to ... Hey, maybe her dust infused suit would take away some of that pain? ... Or cause a full body electrocution on a lethal scale. ... Maybe that wasn't the best idea. "... Gonna put on a show, Peter Pan?" She asked, faintly smiling at him. Even though she didn't like attention being brought to them, she knew just how much he loved being in the spotlight ... And loved to see him happy being able to flaunt his stuff, so... It would be worth it.
Her case, however, was different, but quite similar to the one she called Ren. She was to literally sit there and try to do nothing. By nothing, Kail meant that she was supposed to focus on trying to not destroy her chair during the class. Where someone was supposed to not get people drunk, she was to try and not destroy everything she touched. Similar in concept, much different in reality. ... So... That was her class. To sit here. Sit here and watch, while rooting for Eli's development. She'd try to focus her mind and her aura to try and keep her chair from eroding ... She had a bit of time because her clothes were a buffer. ... Maybe, just maybe by the end of class... She could keep herself from destroying something, for once. ... That something wouldn't be her wardrobe. Already, looking down at her uniform... Several holes and cracks were forming in her wardrobe, exposing the patches of light and dark blue to the outside world. ... It was almost as alarming as seeing her skin, just because she knew how ... Exposing, her under wardrobe was. The imminent thought began to eat away at her, and her eyes would dart over to Eli as a rosy pink shade formed upon her cheeks. 'I .. I don't know if.. I'm ready for anyone to see me in this..." Her fingers gripped his hand tighter, hoping for some means of a pep talk from him... He always managed to find some words to ease her embarrassment, whether it was a compliment or a joke. Though, his hand was surely to slip away soon. After all, he couldn't exactly work on his zaps with risking her as a conductor. ... Though any pain would be worth it.

After consoling his peer he was enveloped in a huge hug along with several others including his leader. Pressed against the girls chest and strength of her hug Adam almost blacked out instantly from lack off oxygen. He was released and he took a much need gasp of breath before coughing and dropping to his knees. "Dear *cough* freakin' dust, girl *cough*!" he choked out. His breathing leveled out and he wiped his mouth. He stood to his feet and cleaned his glasses to make them nice and shiny again. "Okay. That's better." he smiled. Just as Adam regained his balance and composure he was knocked again, but this time by words. Azura? Getting snippy? Whoa. Adam had to clean out his ears and replay the situation in his head to make sure he wasn't crazy. Though, it wasn't as if he didn't agree. Cecil apologized and he and Ridley went to comfort her. She wanted to fight to resolve the issue and Adam didn't disagree with that either. It was a normal thing where he was from, but that came from people not apologizing. Not applicable to this situation. Adam dragged himself to his seat and poked at Azura's side and quietly whispered to her, "Look at you defendin' yo man." he laughed. He sat back in the seat and leaned backwards lifting two legs of the chair off the ground.
He heard the teacher address him and put him in thought. "Huh? I never thought of that. How would it work on the blind?" he ponderd. "A'ight, teach. i got you. Prepare for me to..." *claps hands and twinkles fingers* "disappear!" he smiled. He leaned over to Cecil and gave him a thumbs up. "Good job, guy! But do me a favor?" he asked being able to see his breath. "Turn off the A/C." he whispered. Adam zipped up his jacket and threw his hat back on covering his lovely lime dreads.
He turned to Ridley and tapped his finger on her forehead. "Stop that. You'll get worry lines." he said to the gold beauty. Something then came to Adam's mind and slipped out without him noticing. "By the way, you smell nice." he said subconsciously referring to being so close to her in Tessa's embrace. "Uh... what?" he said out loud to himself. He didn't understand himself anymore. He usually never spoke things like that without thinking.
"Forget what I said. I'm weird you know that." he chuckled. "Also, you could use your semblance on me. It would hurt, but I would understand you more. Feeling a little of what you felt would give me more insight to you." he smiled. "What the heck?" he said noticing himself speaking properly and not in ebonics. "That ain't right." he said out loud. "Uhp! Nevermind. It's back!" he laughed.

Narx may be a bit thick in the head, but he could see Asger's reaction as loud as they came. The guy seemed genuinely sad about what he had done. He didn't even likely know the full extent yet either. Not that Narx knew it fully either. He just knew it was serious if Danaë had kept it such a secret. Narx leaned in behind Asger to whisper."Okay. I see you are legit. I am really sorry for being mean. You seem alright to me."He was quick to forgive. For better or worse. This guy was probably going to be a good addition to the school and their group of friends. "And I don't need to be in your conversation with Danaë. That's between you guys. She'll tell me what I need to know. I trust her."He then leaned back in his seat. He looked over at Danaë and gave her a head nod as if to show that he approved of her brother. The two of them would need some alone time later and Narx would gladly give it. They had a lot to catch up on he was sure. Maybe Tess, Rich and him would go to town afterwards as he had some business to do there. He returned his attention to the teacher just in time to hear what his assignment was; to be tortured by the girl on team DARK. "No way... What the hell is this?"Narx said to himself under his breath. He shot a glance over to the girl riddled in yellow jewels. He knew she wasn't fond of him from her reaction to the whole Cecil and Tess conflict. He slid down his chair in a dreadful crouch to hide his annoyance. He could never catch a break could he."Danaë. Tess. Rich. If I don't make it back alive. Ridley did it."He said solemnly before jumping out of his chair and walking over towards team DARK. He wanted to get it over with sooner rather than later.
He took a deep breath in before speaking. "Miss Delmhorst."He said with a nod of his head. He didn't really know her, and didn't really care to get to know her, but they had to now so he may as well try and be curteous."Adam. I'd love to see her use her semblance on you. Let's give it a go?"He kind of hoped they would take it up. Her semblance likely had a limit. He didn't even know what her semblance did other than something to do with pain, but it would be so nice if she used it up on her boyfriend over here.
He wasn't sure how this was going to work as his semblance absorbed pain of others. Was Ridley to inflict pain directly on him? If so he wouldn't be utilizing his semblance at all."I guess I should introduce myself. I am Narx. I know you your name is Ridley, but I am not sure what your boyfriend's name is?"Narx extended his arm to shake to both in turn."Also, my semblance is the ability to absorbs the wounds and pains of others. It's that simple. What does your semblance do?"He hoped it wasn't something that had to do with evisceration. That crap was tough to heal. Not because it drained him more, but because it focused on the external nerves more than most wounds. He would wait patiently for her to reply.

She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
It wasn't long after she reached her seat that the teacher began speaking and explaining her lesson plan for the day. It seemed she had personalized tasks for each individual in the classroom and considering how unique semblances were to each person, Ridley couldn't help but admire all the hard work Professor Schuer must have put into studying student files before class to prepare. On the other hand, she was less than pleased to learn that she would be paired with Narx for the class, seeing as his semblance would apparently counteract hers. She supposed it would be a tad bit easier to knowingly inflict pain on another student when she was already disgruntled with him, but to cause him pain in the way she would be over a silly overreaction seemed like a bit much. It was as big of an overreaction as challenging a person to a fight when said person never really meant offense and had already apologized for such stupidity. Ridley would have been content to spend the rest of class carefully and purposefully ignoring him and the rest of his team.
Sighing softly, she was only growing increasingly agitated when Adam approached her. She went cross eyed to watch his finger poke her in the center of the forehead, frowning but clearly clearly fighting a smile. His comment about her scent did manage to catch her off guard, but he seemed to have equally flustered himself. He took it back before the girl even had a chance to respond to the compliment. Raising a brow at him, she couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, just the weirdest... but thanks." She teased lightly, that playful smirk returning to her lips. However, his next comment wiped it from her lips just as quickly as it had appeared. Golden eyes widened as she stared at him, lines forming in her forehead once more as her lips pulled into a frown. "Adam..." She started, but for once seemed to be at a lack of words. The comment was... deep, insightful, and in some round about kind of way, really sweet. It was also lacking his usually speaking patterns in all its sincerity. Still, she could ever imagine using her semblance on him, causing him that kind of pain... The thought made her shudder. "I could never---" She was about to object, but before she could finish the sentence, Narx himself interjected.
Her entire body language changed in the matter of moments. Rigid and stiff, pale fingers gripped the edge of her desk far to tightly, knuckles turning white as the natural blood flow was cut off. Her head whipped around, golden eyes flashing dangerously as they locked on his. She pushed herself to her feet, meeting his gaze head one. She was significantly shorter than him, but didn't seem intimidated by that prospect in the slightest. It wasn't so much his presence that caused the reaction, but rather the words that left his mouth The guy was seriously testing her temper today and she was getting dangerously close to an explosion. Chewing on the inside of her cheeks, she took several moments to respond, clearly carefully mulling over her words. There were several things she would have liked to say, but none of which were appropriate for a classroom setting. If he kept pushing her like this, some of those desired phrases. "We're definitely not giving that a go."She stated, making each word cold and deliberate. "I have several preferable ideas in mind... but I'm not sure you'd agree." She smirked at him, but it was not the playful and teasing look her team would be so accustomed to. It was far to twisted by her own anger.
Ridley was like a hot kettle, ready to blow her steam, and it seemed this guy just didn't know where to stop. Each step was bringing him closer and closer to a face full of boiling water. It was one thing for Cecil to speak so bluntly and fluster her about her feelings for Adam, like he had on the beach. It was completely different for this guy to do it. She'd only just met him and her distaste for him was steadily growing. There was clearly something there between her and Adam, but it was all still new and sometimes confusing. Labels hadn't even crossed her mind yet, let alone been discussed. The fact that this stranger had put it out there in the open, taking that opportunity to discuss it all on their own time, infuriated her. However, to say that her stomach did not give a strange little flutter at such a word would be a lie. The two emotions were a complete contradiction, rivaling within her body for control. Cheeks flushing with a mixture of embarrassment and anger, her eyes narrowed as she continued to glare at Narx."You're treading on very thin ice."She hissed between her teeth. "It won't fair you well to test me right now." Surely this would have been the reaction her team had been expecting in that moment of silence on the beach after Cecil's comment. That only went to show, she would tolerate that sort of thing from people she cared about, but sure as hell not from him.
There was silence for a moment before Narx offered a true introduction, extending his hand to the both of them. Ridley's eyes trailed down his arm, glaring at his hand as if she was contemplating acting taking the offered handshake or not. It took her a moment but eventually she let out a loud huff of air, reaching out she shook his hand rather curtly before letting her arm fall stiffly back at her side. Likely if Adam were not there, she would have spitefully declined the handshake, but she had already failed at reigning in her anger... Something he always seemed to be so good at. Granted not much really angered him. He was always so nice. She admired that about him and would be lying if she denied the fact that she occasionally feared her temper might scare him away. She didn't bother with introducing herself, seeing as he apparently already knew her name, but instead went straight into business. "My semblance allows me to inflict pain on others, but only pain I have felt myself. It is purely mental and leaves no physical signs. If you're semblance can take that pain away, we should probably find a volunteer." She stated simply and bluntly, clearly ready to get this done and over with. "And if you suggest Adam again, I swear to mother earth I'll..." Her voice trailed off, leaving the threat open ended as she peered at Adam out of the corner of her eye before returning her gaze to Narx. "Well it won't be pleasant. We'll leave it at that."

Azura Knight
The rest of team DARK were surprised at her outburst, but none were as surprised as Azura herself. She couldn't express how grateful she was when Ridley came to stand by her, taking over and shifting the spotlight from the shyest member to the team leader. Her support meant everything at that moment. A cool hand slipped into hers and she looked to see Cecil, his expression all surprise. Despite the cold in the room, her cheeks suddenly grew warm. Blushing furiously, Azura followed him towards the desks at the back of the classroom. She gave a bit of a half smile to his answer to her question, clearly a bit amused. "Trial by combat is such an odd notion. It only proves you are a better fighter, not that you are right or moral." Yet much like Cecil, she did understand it was the practice of some, at least on an academic level. She was about to ask why he still wanted to make her feel better after the way the rest of team DVNT had treated him, but their two other teammates had arrived. There were a few other things she had noticed and wanted to ask Cecil about, but she would save those for somewhere less public. Red flared up on her cheeks again as they both praised her for her outburst. Though she would never admit it she was kind of proud of herself.
Professor Schuer started handing out assignments. It seemed they were all to be split up. It was with regret that she pulled her hand out of Cecil's. "Good luck." She told the rest of the team before she made her way up to the front of the class where Yui was standing. "Azura Knight. A pleasure to formally meet you." She introduced herself. "Was there a particular illusion you would like to see?" She asked somewhat nervously. She really hopped Yui would have a suggestion, as Azura had no real idea what she should show her.

Cecil smiled at Azura as she was blushing, something rare, his own inner demons didn't get quelled, but he was doing his best to hold a smile for someone he cared for, a team-mate and literal date. "It is quite an interesting concept, as it can help settle arguments in a warrior society, much like a debate for an academic society." He told her as it was something he had in mind before Ridley and Adam joined them to compliment on her outburst before the teacher got their attention. He could feel Azura's hand slip out of his as they were separated to test their semblance. He heard Azura's luck and nodded. "You too tiger." He told her with a small chuckle before he got up and made his way to the bunny, a rougish looking man, and someone who appeared to be able to translate fast talkers. His face returned to a stoic cold stare, the atmosphere for Team OHKY was not met with warmth, only the chilling cold. "I am Cecil Roydon of Team DARK, I assume you are Sakura correct?" He asked as he remembered each person's attention being captured when they were being given their task. His was to produce weapons... and if that was the case, he would be working with her... in his own way he had to let a bit of his demons out. "I have a small plan on how we can work on our semblances together."

I know nothing because I know too much... ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Try as she might, it would have been nearly impossible for Danae to completely hide the emotion that was overcoming her from one as observant as her brother. Even if she turned her head so that he could not see that tears that were brimming the surface of those sandy orbs, he could hear it in her voice, see it in the way she held herself. He had caused her more pain than he could ever truly forgive himself for. Coming from her, someone her cared for so completely, it cut worse than the words of the stranger Narx. However, it was more than that. They were touching. To not only hear how much she cared but to know that she had never given up on him. When everyone else had given up hope and assumed him dead, she'd kept believing. He cpuldn't quite find the words to Express just how much this meant to him. Thank you didn't seem like enough. Instead he offered her a smile, simple maybe, but blue orbs held signs of all the overwhelming emotions swarming inside of him and just how much he loved her. She would be able to see that. It would do for now but he vowed to spend his life not only making up for the pain he had caused, but showing her just how much she meant this all meant to him.
For just a moment he had nearly forgotten about Narx's presence. He blinked, shaking his head to clear it as the man spoke. Asger was relieved to hear the change in tone. He wouldn't hesitate if it ever became necessary, but he didn't much feel like fighting his little sister's boyfriend. It would be best that they could get along... or at the very least tolerate each other. A rivalry between the two of them, two people Danae cared so deeply for, would only cause her pain. Asger couldn't stand the idea of causing his sister anymore pain than he already had, so he decided in that moment he would not act out against Narx. The only exception would be if he did something to hurt Danae. He could do or say whatever he wished to Sger and he would do his best to keep the peace. However, he didn't really think it wou l.j d come down to that. His apology seemed sincere enough, as did the words that followed. "Its quite alright... I would want nothing less than for you to do everything in your power to protect Danae, both from physical and emotion pain. That's all you were intending at the time." Asger forgave easily. He had never been one to hold grudges. Especially because often times he could depict the reasonings behind even the most terrible of actions, see it from a different perspective.
Just a moment later and Narx walked away from them all towards the girl he'd been paired with for the class, claiming if he never returned she was likely his murder. Gazing over, he couldn't say she looked like a particularly evil person, but she surely did not look the slightest bit pleased. Narx's presence only seemed to further agitate his anger.Well... this class has turned out to be quite... interesting. He mused to himself, before turning his gaze back to his sister. Knowing the specifics of how her semblance worked, he knew this couldn't have been easy for her. A rowdy classroom with intensified senses sounded the entire opposite of pleasant. On the brightside, having helped keep her team's conversation private, she had a headstart on getting herself worn out.
Figuring it was about time he got started, he turned his gaze upwards. The classroom was large, but he didn't want to risk accidentally catching someone with one of his feathers, so he would test his limits upwards rather than outwards. Closing his eyes as if to concentrate, the transformation began. The feathers littering his body became hard as still, a make shift armor, while the feathers on his wings became razor sharp. He made a mental not to stay clear of anyone standing roo close, lest the reciever an unfortunate injury due to him. He supposed Narx was here to heal people, but he would still feel bad. As soon as the transformation was complete, fifteen feathers detached from his wings before soaring upwards towards the ceiling.

I stand ready to run towards danger. I stand ready to protect the innocent and defend the weak. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Clearly the spider boy with his electric abilities was just far to excited for all of this. Where Cali was so out of her element, so nervous and afraid, he was nearly the exact opposite, but even so she met his glance with the sweetest of smiles when he looked towards her. A smile that made his entire face light up. A smile he fought for with his every breath. He didn't mind the spot light, rather he thrived in it. It was probably a good part of the reason Cali was always afraid someone else would steal his affection. It wasn't uncommon for Eli's tricks to merit a fair bit of attention, but no matter how many people he had tossing roses at him from the audience, whe. The show was over, it was always Cali that he licked gazes with. It was Cali that he smiled at. Cali that he bowed to. As if the entire performance had simply been for her sake, despite the overcrowded room of people. Really it was, even if he enjoyed the onlookers and the applause, the only opinion he truly cared for was Cali's. If she approved, if she had enjoyed it all, then he would consider it a success. If she disapproved, hated it, then all was for not. She was all that truly mattered. The reason behind nearly every choice he made.
Her fingers were tapping away nervously at the back of his hand. Eli had almost not even noticed. It was such a natural thing. Something as normal as breathing for her. Likely it would have caught him more off guard if she hadn't been drumming away like she was. His response to such a question was a wide smirk, eyes gleaming with a playful mischief. "Only the best of shows! I must live up to the name, after all."He responded rather matter-of-factly. His smirk lingered for a moment before the expression soften and he dropped low to her face, murmuring softly in her ear. "Just remember it's all for you. No matter who cheers." He told her, lips so close to her cheek surely his breath would tickle the delicate skin. He lingered there for a moment before straightening back up, looking to the front of the classroom as Kail continued to speak. He couldn't help the zmallchuckle that left his lips when she referred to his 'zaps'. It wasn't a terrible nickname. Not really. Though, with the lesson plan I structured, he knew he would have to release Cali, which was always to his dismay, but really wasn't sure if the girl was ready for it. However, his electricity hurt her on a good day and he couldn't be sure how a suit full of electric dust would react to a blast from him. He would have to be sure to keep her far out of his line of fire.
Turning to face her, he had been about to speak when he noticed her expression. Cheeks turning rosy, her hand gripping his tighter, it didn't take long for him to note the cause of her distress. Her school uniform was about to crumble to pieces. He couldn't say he was entirely comfortable with the idea either. It didn't exactly leave much to the imagination, but it was better than either of thealternatives. Her accidentally ending up in her birthday suit, or them both having to disrupt the class every fifteen minutes to leave the room and change. Still, he knew how hard it was going to be for her. She was t one to show off much skin usually. He also knew he needed to calm her down or risk a panic attack. Turning in his chair so he could face her completely. Wriggling his hand out of hers he brought both of his up, cupping her face with his gloved palms. "Hey, it's going to be fine. I promise. I'll be right here. Besides, everyone is fairly distracted... I doubt anyone will even look." He assured her, electric orbs never leaving her much darker ones. He did have a fair point, the class had been rather dramatic thus fair, and everyone seemed to have a separate task to focus on. He doubted many would take the time to observe her.
With the insurance in place though, it was time to cheer her up. His favorite method of doing so either teasing or a silly choke. That familiar smirk growing on his lips was a pretty clear indication of his intentions. "Besides, you looked quite wonderful in it... Anyone that did look would just be enthralled or quite jealous." He teased, leaning forward so their noses were just inches a part. He was aiming to make her blush, and considering the implications, he doubted he would fail. "But, I'll zap anyone who stares too long. Teach them a lesson, 'kay?" He teased, smirking as he cocked his head to oneside. This time he was aiming for a laugh, and hopefully getting himself out of too much trouble with his previous comment. After a moment the smirk faded and instead he offered her a genuine smile. Transitioning from mischievous, to humorous, to the sweetest part of his core, he shrugged his jacket off and offered it to her. "You can use this if you want... it won't buy you much more time, but... well, it's pretty warm in here anyway."

A small, sympathetic smile appeared on her face at Oswald and Ren's antics. What is she going to do with that boy? He was honestly impossible to control but she wouldn't have it any other way. When the teacher spoke up, she straightened her back. Okay. Serious time. She wished her team good luck though she doubted that Ren really needed it since it shouldn't be that hard to just sit in time out for a few minutes. They'd really have to set up a drinking schedule or something for him so he'd actually get to participate in class. But, that could wait. The most important matter at the moment was the fact that she was supposed to be practicing with Cecil. Turns out he's the guy who managed to almost become the first hunter to die by desk thrown by faunus. What a way to go. She met his cold stare with one of her own, a mixture of disinterest and distrust.
"Yeah, I am. Sakura Hirose of Team OHKY. Pleased to meet your acquaintance, Roydon." She introduced herself with a polite bow. Sakura crossed her arms. A plan, huh. "Well, what is this plan of yours? It doesn't involve throwing furniture, does it?" She teased lightly.
