Nicolae wandered away from the largest concentration of students. He didn't want the poor torti to feel crowded. He watched a pair of torti surface, though thy seemed to stay half buried in the sand. Did they surface to breath, if they were in loose sand like this?

Aurora was getting sleepy, she was laying out in the sun and had forgotten to drink more water while watching the torti, Aurora ended up fainting laying there in the hot sun. Her mind wandering about the torti and the adventures she had. She was having a nightmare about the forbidden forest and the day she broke her ankle and had freshlings throwing rocks and sticks at her. She was making little unhappy sounds in her fainted state. She didn't know she had passed out and likely would remain out for a little while, till something woke her or she was given was more water.

Aedus turned to Nashira and said "Sure we can hang out back at the school if you want to, since we both like familiars so much, maybe you can come over to my house and meet my other familiar friends." Aedus said in his normal tone. Aedus had come pretty far but he still wasn't warm and fluffy with someone he had just met. He reserved that for Nimah, though he wondered if she would accept him courting her or if their paths would no longer meet in the way he had hoped. No matter what she would be a dear friend to him forever. He watched the torti and took some new notes. Aedus looked around to see if the cherub was still there somewhere.

Kiessi watched as a woman put her tortie on the ground. It had come close to them, looking curiously before venturing back to its owner. They smiled softly, wishing that they could at least touch the creature but they didn't want to impose, it wasn't their familiar after all.

Vega was right. Standing in the entrance was a bit awkward and moving would hopefully get them a chance to interact with the torti more. Well that was his idea until one tried to totally nom on his feathers. Leto didn't know if this one was just mischevious or if it thought his feathers were something else but he quickly high tailed it over to the bench Vega was sitting on. They where cute but hahah he needed those feathers thank you very much.

One of the fennikets in his bag made a weird noise in retaliation towards the torti before ducking its head back in the bag. Well at least he had a valiant protector. " guess there are all types here too." He stated turning towards Vega.

the torti seemed to be a big hit with everyone and Horus liked watching them. Watching as some them slowly warm up to the small herd of people gathered here or awkwardly try to skitter away. It was kind of amusing and Horus wanted to video tape it with his phone.

It was true that it was a light time and just what he was sure a lot of the group needed. He was taking notes sure but at the same time he was also watching the people. He would definitely have something interesting to write home about, or even better to tell Samara.
