Roy had no idea why the other had gotten so excited that he was in the back seat with him? Though he blinked, having felt the blonde resting his head in his lap? This was definitely new for him? He doubted Edward would have ever dreamed of doing that. He had to guess it was the animalistic side of him that was doing this, warm and affectionate stuff. Unsure what to do? He ended up petting his head, which seemed to have soothed the creature.
He gazed over to see Edward look up and he looked out the window. "Thank you, Hawkeye"He said, as he had gotten out. He noticed the woman approached Edward and said, this was necessary. She had placed the collar around the Chimera's neck. He could already see the displeasure on the blonde's face.
"Just bare with it for a little while, I promise I will take it off"He said, petting the canine's head. He went and got the luggage from the back and he was off, not before the woman saluted to him and he did the same, as they were off. They boarded the train without issues, people just assumed it was his service dog, seeing as how he was blind in one eye.
Quickly he took a seat they were in the second to the last car, which meant no one was there and they had it to themselves. He reached over and took the collar off of the other.

The chimera closed his eyes while Roy pet him on the trip to the train station. It was a good thing since it had been anxious about the enclosed space which is why is had been pleased at Roy sitting in the backseat with him. When Roy had gotten out of the car the chimera had followed him. The chimera looked up as Riza exitted the car as well and then approached him. Something seemed off about her and the chimera stood unsure what to expect as she said something was neccessary. As something slipped around his neck in a quick fashion the chimera snarled realizing what had happened. Fur raised on his back and he barred his teeth at the woman showing his displeasure as she stepped back. Only Roy's soothing by petting his head and asking him to bear with it stopped the chimera from taking a shot of biting the woman. Still the chimera gave a growl to her when the two humans saluted. With that he followed Roy to the train and boarded the train. He followed the man into a train car and was surprised as the man undid the collar as soon as they had entered. The chimera shook off as soon as it was off like it had seriously bothered him. "No." the chimera demanded.

Roy placed the collar away, as he had not planned on using it on the other, it was just to get into the train. The last thing he needed was issues about the other not traveling with him. He figured it was best by the end of the day have the other stay with his real family. He also planned once he can restore the others body back to its original form, it was best to cut ties with the other. "I wont put it back on, it was just to get into the train...I didn't want to have problems and you not being able to come with me"He tried to explain that to him. "Im not going to treat you as an animal, you are more than that"he answered. "Im sorry she did that"he answered, as he began to pet the others head in a loving way.

The chimera's golden eyes watched as the collar was placed away out of sight. Hearing the man say that he wouldn't put it back on the chimera relaxed and gave a huff of breath moving closer to the flame alchemist. He understood why it had been put on him but it aggravated every inch of his being. The human side because it was a collar and he agreed despite his appearance that he was more than an animal. The animal side disliked it because of the other humans who had used it to control their movements, though that one had come with more that just the heavy feeling around his neck. Giving another huff of breath the chimera settled as Roy began to pet him. "don't... need." the chimera muttered.

"I know"He said, seeing the other began to settle down now, seeing its raised hairs on its back was finally lowered. "You should get some rest it's gonna be a long trip"He answered, sighing at the mere thought. He was not looking forward to any bit of this! He had a feeling he knew he was to blame for all of this, or so they will say. He was not only afraid of facing Winry again, but he also feared facing Alphonse again. What was he going to say or feel? Perhaps bring back terrible memories with Nina Tucker? Shaking his head as he had a serious expression on his face. He gazed out the window as he was exhausted. Right now he needed some good whiskey? Rum? Anything?!...and even a good smoke.

The chimera nodded when Roy said that he should get some rest. Instead of jumping up onto the seat beside the man the chimera lay down on the floor around the man's feet as if worried he would disappear. It was after the train had begun to ease off to its destination that there came a knock at the cabin door. "Excuse me, would you mind if I sat in here. It seems that every where else is taken." came a male voice. The man in the doorway was blond much like Edward but had green eyes as opposed to the chimera's gold. The chimera itself didn't seem to budge with the knock but merely stayed asleep or at least appeared to but there was a slight tension in its body.

Roy was kinda surprised, to see Edward not jump up and lay down on the soft cushion?! Instead the other was laying by his feet, his head actually resting on his foot. If only he could have a quick cigarette he couldn't take this tense feeling he had! He couldn't tell if he was tired, Anxious, nervous, or upset? Maybe all of these mixed emotions? He blinked, seeing the knock and he saw a man walk in? He was really handsome?! He had blonde hair and beautiful green hues. He gazed away, not liking the idea of staring. Hearing the man's request, he nodded, gazing at him. His own vision was limited, due to his missing eyes. "Sure..."He answered, giving him eye contact now.
His own hands were fidgety, dammit not now? Not the anxiety! He reached inside his bag, open up a bottle of his meds and he opened up his water bottle taking it. Having that killer headache he also too tylonol for that. Great! He was stuck in this section with some gorgeous guy and sit in awkward silence.

The man smiled as Roy looked at him and then gave the affirmative. He thanked the alchemist and moved to sit within the cabin still smiling. The man seemed to ignore Roy's taking of medication but pulled a flask from his jacket. "Would you like some?" he questioned holding out the flask after he had taken some of its contents. At Roy's feet the chimera stiffened a bit but it merely looked like a bit of shifting "Thats an interesting looking dog you have there. What breed is it?" the man questioned.

Roy watched as the Handsome, blonde haired man took a seat near him, seeing the man pull out a flask?! Seeing the man take a sip of it. The ravenette shook his head, "As tempting as it is, I will have to decline. Thank you though "He said. "I don't want it to counter act with my medication "He said. "If you have a cigarette that would be another story"He teased. Hearing him bring up Edward and he thought on his feet, he should have known he would be asked this. "It's a Husky, Afghan hound mix, he's a good boy "He said. Edward looked similar to that description for the time being.

The blond smiled as Roy turned him down saying that he didn't want the alcohol to counter act with his medication. Putting the flask away he nodded in understanding, at the question about a cigarette the blond smiled brighter and dug through his bag on the seat next to him before pulling out a cigarette case. "I thought I wouldn't be able to smoke back here. So many people are against it now. Its a relief to find someone else that will." the man said opening the pack and offering one to Roy. "A Husky mix, never seen one before. Thought they were meant for mostly cold temperatures. Seems like a good dog thought didn't even react when I came in." the man remarked but didn't ask anything more about the chimera.

Roy nervously smiled, he sometimes grew uncomfortable around others, due to his eyepatch. His bangs almost could cover his eye, but not yet. "That's why no one is back here, its a smoking section...Im surprised no one else come back here"He said. Must have no had smokers on this train. He blinked, "Oh thanks"He said, kinda surprised. "Picked him up from a friend..."He said. He saw the other look for his lighter and smiled, warily. He took his glove out and put it on"I gotcha"he said, with a gentle snap, he lit the cigarette and he lit his own. "I never got your name?"he asked.

"Oh I guess I didn't see a sign for that." the man said looking out of the car to see if he could see a sign now about the smoking section. He gave up that within a few seconds though when he didn't see one. When Roy took the cigarette the man went looking for his lighter until Roy said something. The man looked on as Roy snapped his fingers. "Thats kinda cool. How'd you do that?" the man asked after the cigarette had been lit. "My name is Derek. Whats yours?" Derek asked.

The ravenette smiled a little, he then took off his glove and tucked it back into his chest pocket of his jacket. "It's all good"He said. He gotten the ash tray over, luckily it was ventilated in the room. "I guess..."he said, hearing the other say what he did was cool? "Im an alchemist"he said. His ability came in handy whenever anyone needs a fire, though he was pretty useless in the rain and in water situations. "Nice to meet you, Im Roy"he said, holding his hand out to shake his hand.
He couldn't help but gaze at the beautiful man before him! He caught himself staring at him and he quickly gazed away. He took a drag of the cigarette and he gotten slightly embarrassed. What was wrong with him?
But still that doesn't mean he can't admit to himself that the man sitting next to him was handsome.

"I figure you were, not the first alchemist I've seen but definitely the first to do something like that." Derek smiled at Roy. Shaking hands when offered he returned the nice to meet you. He didn't seem at all put off by Roy staring at him and taking him in. "So where are you headed if you don't mind me asking?" Derek asked after a few moments of silence.

Roy gazed out the window, as he exhaled, the smoke. "I see, Yeah I can manipulate fire, aside from that its all I can do"He answered, which was obvious. He just found it hard to feel at ease, especially in front of a stranger and a good looking guy. He was an expert of fire and he was taught well by Riza's father. Hearing the other ask him a question. "Oh to Risembool, to visit a friend of mine"He said. He had his own pocket watch on him, but never left it exposed, he had it in his coat pocket. "How about yourself?"he asked.
Well normally he was use to the military life, that it was rare for him to even be in civvies clothes and talking to strangers. But just by his mannerisms he was definitely military.
