August, 2017Student name: Roshan Prompt: It's jungle gym time! Response: x Roshan was excited to play on the jungle gym. It was a lot of fun to climb as high as they could and then hang up side down. A lot of the other freshlings were doing similar things or else talking to each other. Roshan watched the others from their new perspective until the blood pooled in their head. Eventually they were called back together to continue with the rest of their day.

Student name: Yaruka
Prompt: Gymnastics time!
Response: Yaruka felt a little nervous about gymnastics. She hadn't tried to do any fancy tumbling or flips for quite a while now, especially after the last time she ended up fumbling in a cartwheel and landing on her wing as it instinctively tried to balance her. It was a mild sprain, thankfully....but still, her confidence had taken a bit of a hit. Well, best to start stretching out first at least.
Yaruka was decently flexible and since her wings were mutated, she could tuck them in close and not worry too much about them. Half an hour of stretching later, she figured she couldn't stall much more and took a running start across the mats to go into a string of cartwheels. So far so good....and now the hard part....the last one she turned herself around and used the momentum to go into a backflip. Oh this would hurt if she messed this up...one....two....three! Holy Hells, she did it! She stood up from the last one and laughed nervously at her surprise success.....only to topple back onto her rear. Ow....ok, she was a little dizzy....and now her pride bruised. Oh well, it could have been worse! Right?

 August, 2017Student name: Jacintha Prompt: Gymnastics time! Response: Jacintha was so excited to get over to the mats and start doing flips and tumbles, being an energetic imp who liked lots of movement. She wasn't the best gymnast here, but she wasn't too bad. Besides, she found it a great time whenever she got to use some of her excess energy. Her favorites were doing back flips and somersaults, but doing tumbles and hand stands were also fun. Maybe she could try some new gymnast tricks today? It was worth a shot, but then again it was probably dangerous without an instructor. Maybe she could take a few gymnastic classes in the future? Maybe after she graduated even? Whenever that happened, she knew she would enjoy it.

August, 2017Student name:Jamie Prompt: It's jungle gym time! Response: The bars were rough on his palms as he clambered up, Jamie wanted to go high and look up on the top where he could see everything. His tail swung behind him, curling slightly when it brushes metal and he paused, trying to get it to curl around the bars. He frowned, teeth biting his lower lip as he tried to get it to curl. Jamie gave a small annoyed noise, his tail wasn’t doing at all what he wanted, before batting his hair from his eyes with a hand. He started again and gave a tiny smile as he reach the top, sitting on the web of bars, legs curled beneath him, and hands gripping the bars as he looked out at the playground.

Prompt: Gymnastics time!
Response: Miera was quite pleased that they were doing Gymnastics this time for PE. She loved being able to perform and work on the Floor and Balance Beam especially. She took some time to stretch knowing that if she pushed too hard without stretching she could injure herself. Once that was done she set out to do a few practice tumbles, somersaults, handstands, back bends, walkovers, and cartwheels. Not the greatest at gymnastics but rather good she enjoyed the freedom to have some fun, as she’d been busy with tests and things it felt good to use her body and exercise.

September, 2017Student name: Aiday Prompt: Gymnastics time! Response:  Aiday frowned she did her best to stretch but she wasn't going to be able to be a gym star, she was a dryad and she was in no way flexible. She didn't train or try for more and that was alright with Aiday she didn't need to be good at everything after all. So she spent the class just doing her best, Aiday was thankful that she wouldn't have to take another gym class once she moved on to Leviathan university. Aiday still found it a little shocking she was graduating, coming from being a little-frightened dryad hiding under a table to a grown senior heading off to university.

Prompt: Gymnastics time!
Response: Liath detested physical activity. It was all very mundane and boring. He couldn't bring himself to have any interest in it what so ever. So when told that he was going to spend the day doing gymnastics he rolled his eyes harder than they had ever been rolled before. With a giant grimace, he began to half-heartedly stretch. Stopping and standing in place whenever no one was looking and them pretending to stretch again when the would look back.

Prompt: Gymnastics time!
Response: Oran was always torn on health class. She wasn't the most active person and so when it was more physical oriented days she had to hide a mini wince. However health days where interesting. Probably because she was part Kirin and thus suffered getting sick at least once in the more winter months. So of course today was a p.e day. Even worse it was gymnastics. Of course at least she was better prepared than the people with wings. She always wondered how they Handled gymnastics.
With a breath she tried her first cartwheel, only she calculated wrong and ended up failing on her face the first time. The second time was no better and now her nose hurt. Stopping lightly to stretch she tried again, and ended up pulling five and a row. The only problem was now she was shaky and off center and the room was slightly spinning. Yeah that was probably a good sign she should sit down for a while.

Oiche looked like the second she got out of bed you should probably steer her right back in. It wasn't entirely inaccaurate, after all pale skin burned and even if below was in a state of night time or dusk that didn't mean she couldn't get sunburned during the day. So you can imagine her sigh when it was a more physical P.E day. She much preferred when they were learning about health. Especially when it involved cartwheels. She looked at her wings and all ready knew it was out of the question. They were ripped mostly genetically due to her litch blood so she knew anything that involved spinning or potentially landing on her but or wings was out of the question.
So oiche worked in carefully stretching making sure not to over do it. Okay so maybe this wasnt best day period. Sure she had seen some limber litches around right? Well as she stretched down to try to reach her toes she knew that she wasn't going to be the first one. Ah well she was trying her best and that she figured was what mattered.

Prompt: It's jungle gym time!
Response:
Sunshine and kids playing.... ugh Selkie wanted to turn right back and go take that test in science again. It wasn't as if he disliked playing. After all it was a good bonding experience for a person to get to know their siblings when they were younger but he had disastrous memories about the jungle gym. In that he either got in trouble because he helped some one or some one tried to bully him. With a groan he started towards the contraption of doom.
Maunivering the bars was easy, you just focused on where your hands were going and centered yourself making sure not to fall over. Soon enough Selkie was sitting pretty on the top. He even stood up perfectly fine, he didn't understand why the caretakers and teacher where looking at him worriedly.

Prompt: It's jungle gym time!
Response:
Rune growled from the top of his little monkey cage. Okay it wasn't a cage it was one of those jungle gym type things on the playground. He knew he wasn't really a team player not really, he supposed if the world was in danger he would team up but it was safer to just be yourself. Today was case and point.
The teacher wanted them to work on their coordination skills or something so because well you didn't antagonize the teachers, Rune had gone out to the jungle gym. Climbing was no problem, he had wings to help him balance.
However apparently the class had gotten competitive and some one had reached out and not only pinched his hand against the metal but grabbed his wing. Thus he had scurried to the top and was busy being king of the mountain. So far the kids were content to stay a rung or two down.

Prompt: It's jungle gym time!
Response: Maeva swung form one of the monkey bars, hands gripping tightly on the the bar. Her twin tails helped support her, prehensile in nature. With each swing, Maeva felt like her mutations were maybe far more use to her than perhaps she had originally thought. It meant that her strong tails could hold her up, if ever she should fall. Tails coiled around the next bar as Maeva swung forward, a small laugh as she peered down at her sister.
"Come on up, Yuna!" Maeva called out to her sister, who was sitting down just on the sandbox's edge, minding her own business. So stuffy!
"Use your tail and flitter your wings! You won't fall! And if you do, I can catch you! I think my tails could break glass!" Her tails, of course, could not, but that wasn't going to stop Maeva from pretending they could!

Prompt: It's jungle gym time!
Response: Yuna peered up at her sister, who was laughing endlessly as she swung like a monkey to and from each of the bars. Yuna didn't like heights, nor did she like her sister's teasing. Yuna, instead of playing on the jungle gym, was reading quietly to herself. She was not overly fond of sports or physical activity of any sort, but she was significantly less fond of the playground. There was just too much dirt and sand getting kicked around, and it always found a way in to her books. Which, always, made Yuna grumpier than she cared to admit.
So, instead, she turned away from her sister's digs and decided to tune her own, as if trying to tunnel in on her book.
"No thanks," Yuna offered politely, tail slapping some sand away as she tried to reign in her thoughts.

July, 2017Student name: Treat Prompt: Gymnastics time! Response:  Treat tumbled and rolled about the gym mat he was having a lot of fun he was light on his paws and he fluttered his wings and flipped his shark tail about. Treat chuckled as he finished and did some stretching and relaxing for the rest of the class watching the other students in the class doing their stuff. It was a good gym class he liked it a lot. Treat's mind wandered to Amber thinking about getting them a really great present for haunted hallows he wondered if Amber would like a cute batty backpack or a familiar. He sighed how was he going to show Amber how he felt.

September, 2017Student name: Enju Prompt: Gymnastics time! Response:  Enju was so nervous he didn't want to do gymnastics in front of the rest of the class, he spent most of his time doing stretches and then he did a few cartwheels. Then he sat back down and did some more stretches he was too nervous and frightened to try much of anything else. He didn't want to do anything crazy and fall and make a fool of himself. He flipped his hair out of his eyes and quietly watched the other students doing their stuff the orange hallow seemed to be having a lot of fun doing their thing. Enju sighed.
